Giving Hunters a quick air dodge makes me think you don't remember Twilight Garrison and how people were asking Bungie to bring it back for Titans and they basically said they would never do that... something about Icarus Dash?
@@reallyminty8386 Yeah and a few years ago I would have never suggested this stuff. But the game is dying and they are bringing back ice breaker, so at this point anything is possible. And honestly I think they should bring back twilight garrison too. It could be something as simple as it allowing the thruster class ability to be used in the air and maybe shortening its cool down a bit
I like a lot of your ideas. The sandbox team for Destiny 2 confuses the hell out me with their back and forth on things. I think what you said throughout that really resonates is that everyone is playing the same. This is partially because of what the game offers but the other part is because of SBMM. The lack of variety stems heavily from having to run certain things to keep up with the class of competition you're forced to be around. It's a big problem for the health of the game and causes certain things to feel more like outliers than they may be. My favorite experience is Destiny 2 in recent years has been the Hardware mode. They should incorporate that into events so, like, Hardware Iron Banner, Trials, and Comp. The Crucible in general though should lean heavily more towards the checkmate system with the added benefits of progress like you mentioned. It's not about eliminating "fun", it's about creating an environment that can be fun without it running out of control. Gunplay/movement focused with abilities as window dressing. Great video. I hope someone at Bungie sees it and considers your ideas.
very well excerpt on the issues! id like to expand on warlock, i also find running any other subclass underperforming comparatively to prismatic, with the exception of the new solar super on warlock. i have necrotic/claw role on the class item, and when paired with lighting surge, i find no need to use anything else, and i find it effecting my gun skill negatively even so! definitely, pvp should have its own separate sandbox, i feel that would help with the overlapping issue that screw with the pve sandbox when changes are made.
@@soulfulmisfit8127 prismatic warlock has done a lot of damage to the other warlock subclasses. Only solar and stasis still have a unique purpose in my opinion. The other three pale in comparison to prismatic
Supposedly 180 HCs are the "airborne" frame but like idk man... they need to give it more AE or make it more viable? idk. BXR is pretty dope tho, I would want more guns with that frame, any archetype.
reducing flench imo, is great, but id rather they put there sights on handcannon flinch , cause i would of 100% won that gun fight if my radical wasn't shot out to orbit... AND YES, QUICK PLAY MORE SPECIAL, AND COMP LESS SPECIAL IVE BEEN SAYING THAT FOREVER!!! the old system was far superior... but now that they made 3 diffrent type of special systems, everyone has a diffrent enjoyment, i hate the special bar, i hate the special boxxes... but quickplay should spawn you in with 2, after each death, like the system we had before.. and comp makes it so you have to earn them... but if your team gets killed in comp, and none of you got a kill i think it should give you special ammo... cause then only one side will have special the whole fight and that wouldn't be fair tbh.
Hipfire is way worse on controller than on mnk. I'd love for it to be better on controller as well cause rn it's mostly unusable even in close quarters. Only DMT and TLW are consist with hipfire on controller, even the BXR while not as bad as other weapons is not consistent while hipfiring on controller. Imo the general reticle friction drop off is too close (and kind of needs to be weak while hipfiring so you won't constantly get stuck / slowed on random hitboxes while moving) and AA (bullet bending) is less than on mnk anyway. Totally agree on the AE. That system is just a nuisance to prevent fun and again, it is much worse on controller because you can't even hipfire properly. On the topic of leveling... for the love of god do away with the level up messages on screen past lvl 20 at least. Idc if my gun jumps to lvl 457 mid match but I do care if I lose my gunfight because of that notification blocking my view of the other player. Same goes for the pathfinder pop up.
@@mythe6669 Controller hip fire is a tough issue to fix because any buff they give to reticle friction is going to increase the cases of trying to turn and getting slowed down because of an enemy. And it would make switching targets even harder if you are trying to un-ads and re-ads. They could try to implement a system where the reticle friction mainly increases when you start shooting rather than just looking around. I’m sure that’s already partially how it’s set up though
@@FraDestinyI guess it's in the AA and accuracy cone tuning cause TLW does not get stuck on stuff despite the hipfire being very accurate. No one uses ads on that gun anymore.
@@mythe6669 yeah improving those two things would have a bigger impact than just reticle friction. As it stands currently, without hip fire grip and offhand strike active, weapons absolutely suck from the hip and I think that’s mainly because of bloom and low aim assist

@@FraDestiny I see your point. The nice thing about coldsnaps is you can throw them at corners and have your gun ready at the same time.
