The Valley has some tracks that can't be topped in my opinion like Hickory Creek but this album is superior overall, this song has to be my favourite.

I think this is one of those albums that makes more sense when listened right after the previous one. It may not be as good as Valley but it is its perfect companion.

I'm not middle aged yet, but as I've moved into my 30s this album and especially this song and Anticure hit me in a way that resonates with the acceptance of unfixable problems, and starting to comprehend my death later in life, that final swell with "Put me in my grave" always conjured detailed visions in my head.

For me this song serves has a huge monolith of a once cherished time. I was introduced to this song out of nowhere and it felt pretty good-okayish back then, after a few months is when this song became way more than just a cool addition to my playlist. Soo many emotions and so much nostalgia is connected to this; even the song's premise is also all about looking back upon times we used to enjoy really the best fckiong coincidence. Almost as if the song was made for this certain purpose.
Truly phenomal, will never forget the song and the memories of mine it links...

To be honest, I haven't been listening to these guys since 2012's self-titled album. At that point, a lot of other bands were mimicking each other and kind of made chapel's sound redundant FOR ME. And then Kin came up on my recommendations this week and thought I'd give it a listen. First few tracks made me wonder if they replaced Phil because the vocals are drastically different. And then f*ck, am I listening to Opeth??? And then I came to the realization that HOLY F*CK THAT'S PHIL. This song stuck out the most for me.
