i like how she's always doing all the work and he's just filming
Vanessa Ong a Real Pimp
He makes her work for the crab 🤭
Well he already said he doesn't really eat them she does so why would he work for her dinner but also he is technically the captain his job is to find the traps mark them find better places to set them etc. So he's doing his job just as much as she's doing hers lol
I just love your longer vlogs, no matter what you're showing. Sadie is so adorable! I love the ones showing catch clean and cook with your family and friends!

@StanzFam 😊Oh Sadie is the Most cutest babygirl I've ever seen so far💙
Awesome video i love it👍
Great video!
What a Precious little Lady. I used to catch them on Base in Mayport in the storm drains.. They're good eating when drowned in butter and garlic.
- Frustrating about people lifting your traps, the happens here in the UK also. I have actually just had some of mine stolen completely. Your Stone crabs are really cool. Such huge claws in comparison to their bodies.
Some people will nick anything. Someone actually dug up and stole my dad's tomato plants.
Dang
Whoa Nick can't believe u don't love Stone crab. It is the most succulent sweetest best tasting crab in the ocean. I will take it any day over ANY fish out there!! Great vid keep em coming and tight lines man
Now this is some good 2AM content
Lol Sara’s last comment tho.......I wanna come spend a few day fishing with y’all!

Fine dining right there, one of the few things I miss about S. Florida . live in the Pacific Northwest now and we have Dungeness and they are also delicious !
Enjoying the longer videos! You are definitely no longer camera shy 😉
Haha thanks! Appreciate the comment
When I lived in Naples Florida that a Stone crab festival every year it was awesome
Just found your channel. I'm kinda jealous how you're just catching all these CRABS!
Crabs are one of the most amazing foods ever
Alex L IKR they are amazing!!!!!!
Oh my..my mouth is watering! It's ok that u dont like them, it more for the rest of us!
Lucky little girl when I come down next month I would be glad to eat the claws that you pass up Nick.
Thanks for showing the knife trick. That was new to me
Thanks for watching 👊🏻👊🏻
Get to cleaning Nick! Looking forward to seeing more videos.
I prefer the shrimp too. But fun watching you guys catch it, cook it, and eat it.
Very cool
I love how every time she throws a crab into the sea she says “grow new ones”
stone crabs can grow 95% of their limbs back in 3 adult crab years. So I guess it's not terrible...
Mena The Official ye ik it takes 3 years wtf are they doing
@@Andy-od5jz study done shown that most the crabs with both claws taken off die , one claw crabs had a fairly low survival rate too if i recalt correctly
@@raafeekhan1078 remove one claw crabs likelihood of death in the next year increases to 40% vs 13% standard. Take off both claws that crab as a 60% chance of mortality within the next year. Now keep in mind even with a 60% mortality rate that's still a hundred percent better than anything a lobster ever experiences!
Your channel is about to blow up mate
Hopefully one day
@@StanzFam great video aswell, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm going to head down to the fish market and grab myself some crab tomorrow.
Man that looks good! I miss Islamorada, my band would play the Tiki Bar down there a lot.
That’s awesome, my stepmom worked there for 17 years back in the day
Hey 👋 nick just subscribed to your channel man ....hello from England 🏴

Im stopping by the marina today!
nic you need to give sarah all yo money, she works on da boat an cooks da crab an feeds da baby, yall got it going!godbless..
A fisherman that doesn't like seafood is like a rancher who doesn't eat beef. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So awesome your wife is game to go out and be on the water with you getting her hands dirty. CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU AND GOD BLESS
Thanks! Appreciate the comment
It’s messed up how you guys take both claws. I’ve been watching fishing vid for a while and you are the first I see that don’t have a problem taking both claws
Good thing commercial boats don’t post videos with 1000 claws
nelli rosas Ikr
nelli rosas shut up you sook Imagine having eight legs
Nelli...leave it alone...it's legal in Florida
Ronald Stewart .... leave it alone I commented this a months ago. 🥴
Looks yum. I boil mine with some sprite or mountain dew and deer meats trick of adding a spoon of white vinegar does magic with the meat seperating from the shell
I would love them and I want to try them I've had plenty of bluecrab and lobster here up north but no stone crab.
I would love to come down there and come get some of those
That knife trick is nice...
Nice job
Mayo, Mustard, and honey! I never buy honey mustard sauce when it's so easy to make. I'll try it with the old bay!
Crab in garlic butter, yum yum!
Hi Stanz Fam. 😊
Love how the little one likes stone crab
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👊🏻👊🏻
A family fishing together is an awesome thing, you and your little family are living the life down there! Question, does the knife trick damage the knuckle meat?
A little bit but not too bad
In key west, my dad is a commercial stone crabber and they taste SO good.
Cole Jackson Thats where your V-bucks come from son
Does your dad take both claws?
Jack Mehauff: It’s depends on the size of the crabs because bigger crabs grow both of there claws in a month and unlike smaller crabs which can take longer.
@@cole..jackson6107 that guy said it takes 7 years and another guy said if you take both they go in hibernation for the 7 years .. that's a great life . Also dont crabs use there claws to eat. They can pick meat of the
bone with them. What do they do if the claws are gone ? Go up an eat it with there mouth against the meat . Like we eat corn on the cobb. Let's take everyone's arms off and give them corn on the cobb and see how they do.
Jack Mehauff These are crabs we are talking about. Extremely primitive CNS.
Stone crab baby food.😂
It would be nice to try stone crab someday.
Instead of breaking their only way of eating. But yet again I enjoyed watching this at 12:23 AM ona Friday
Too funny Nick. Your dad should have raised you on Stones.
Maybe he did and you still don't like them. Me, Sara and Sadie would be fighting over them claws. :)
try dipping the cook claw meat in white or wine vinegar with a little ground pepper and salt. Let us know how you like it.
Been a super long time since I’ve had stone crab claws. In Texas, at least used to, you could only keep one claw and leave one with the crab. Also, I can’t stand poachers. Good catch tho.
These crabs a losing their limbs
I feel sad yet I still watch
ThatAnimeKid same
Stone crabs can grow 95 percent of their limbs back
Its a “safety feature” during a arttack they can eject the limbs and claws painlessly
How do they catch food tho?
Yes
I’m going to let your disdain for stone crab slide because you’re such a nice guy and a great Capt! 😂😂😂😂 are you wearing Costa’s? What frame style are those? Thanks Nick
I'm with you they are just ok to eat.
I love the content brother!
Thanks!
Hey Stanz, I have a question about your palagic fishing, how do you take the skin off of the mahi. I personally peel it.
I cut mine off , either way works tho
I can tell Sarah is a really smart woman no joke
Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
I love this things they’re sooooo good.!! You can pay up to $80.00 a plate here in Texas
best seafood ever. trapped them for years but always left one claw in Pinellas county fl. it was the law there to leave one. it may have changed since that was about 10 years ago.
Cool, it’s different depending where you are on whether you can take one or both claws.
Wow
I subbed
I'm now understanding that they stand a better chance of survival, if you can take both claws. Apparently they won't try to fight with others, with no claws, therefore, not getting killed.
Just wondering if you guys ever do charters for stone crab fishing or know someone that does
Sara does a handful of eco tour charters where she’ll check our recreational stone crab traps , shoot her an email to floridakeysecotour@gmail.com
@@StanzFam cool - I’ll send out an email
execelent
That is not alright cuz if they have no arms they won’t be able to cut and kill there food
They eat dead fish on the bottom and vegetation
StanzFam how are they going to pick it up
@@NovaZz165 Im sure you could eat off the floor if you had no hands...
Wheres Sadie..shes the Star really..love the way she appreciates food and shes so Genuine..and she should have a little dog friend protector like 'rednek' , just like Lukey and Jakes Bestest buddy....
Thanks for the videos.. cheers
Awwww i seen her at the end..she should be on the boat and fishing and catching big swordfish..🤣..shes cool.
Thanks for the tip on the eating off the claw Sarah, You're good value..cheers
I love Sadie and look at her eyes at the end...She loves her Dad!!
This is the kind of wife I want
