Harold & Tug getting recognized at the launch. Means you all are doing it right...OUTSTANDING!
🙌🏽
Because of Tug-Trash, I bought 5 Wischer Wire crab traps last year. Absolutely the toughest and strongest traps I ever bought. Painted extremely well, (no rusting rebar). They did them in Gator colors for me as well. Good people!
Glad to hear you found some good traps!
@@FL_Native_68 dude if i got traps from him i would do the same! Orange and blue!!!!
@@davidshettel8330Aloha. Go gators!
@@adamyoung480 go gators!!!!
Is there a seperate trap for blue crabs, and a seperate trap for stone crabs? Or are you using the same make/model trap for both? Legally speaking, can the same style of trap be used for both blues and stones? Thanks...
Two words for you. well technically three.
STONE CRAB PIZZA😮.
TUG, I made it today with fresh caught stone crabs. White cheese pie style with some fresh crab meat 🤤. It was amazing. I will send the recipe 👌👍
That sounds delicious!
The Wished crab lab! Love those traps.
Harold & Nancy have 4 handsome & great sons. Love this family 👪
Momma Trish I think you are partial but thanks! I hope you ate well
Yummyy...butter makes everything taste better.....yesssiirrr stone crabs are like gold, sooo expensive, happy for you guys, you can catch them there. Some parts in Canada sells (Imported) them, but we definitely dont have them. Enjoy.......👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm with you on the butter!
Only two years retired in FL and stumbled onto you channel last week. I was a com fisherman (crab, shrimp, and halibut) out of the Puget Sound and have learned a bunch watching you and your methods. Out in Seattle we set our crab traps in water up to 150' deep and shrimp up to 400'! Your way is so much more fun and easy on the body! Thanks for the cooking ideas too!
Welcome to Florida, glad you're enjoying the channel!
My favorite guy on RUclips. Glad yall are ok , we’re sending prayers from AL brother hope everything recovers well💪🏾🖤
Thank you dude! 🙌🏽
Great video. You are a good teacher. Great friend to the trap guy, Wishard WireSo happy you found two of the missing traps.😊
I appreciate that!
I was raised on hellmann's mayonnaise until I move to Georgia and when I tasted Dukes I have never bought another jar of hellmann's mayonnaise. And when I got married I told my ex-wife the only mayonnaise you buy is Dukes. But i have a dipping butter for you to try with that crab i used to have it at my restaurant in lighthouse point Deerfield Beach area it's melted butter, lime juice, and dried mustard the yellow powder and you make sure that you blend it up really good that the mustard mixes with the butter. Try it you will definitely like it I'm so jealous of you eating all those crab claws. God bless stay safe out on the water👍✌✌🎅
Thanks for the butter tip! I’ll give it a try.
I was the same way till high school and a neighbor from South Carolina introduced me to Dukes
@@TugTrashOutdoors I went to a cousin's house and she made tuna fish and when I took my first bite I knew it was hellman's so the next day I went to the store and bought a jar of Dukes and I made tuna fish with the Dukes she got converted lol
Very nice!
Looks so good as always! I hope Harold got some!🤣🤣🤣
He hooked us up!
No you hooked us up lol
good to see you made it through thr storms, great vid tug ✌🏻
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
So glad to see that the recent multitude of hurricanes has left you unscathed . Man those stone crabs look so good…tell Ms Congenality hello
We got lucky this time but praying for everyone who wasn’t so fortunate.
I had to rewind the video a few times when you said Worcestershire sauce. It sounded like you said “wash your sister” sauce. 😂😂😂😂😂
Love the video.
Haha, that’s exactly what it sounded like!
Awesome video im very envious. I haven't had stone crab in years. Believe it or not there is a Near by Casino that used to offer all you could eat Stone crab, lobster tails and crab legs on their buffet. Those days are long gone
Man, I would love to try one of those all-you-can-eat buffets!
I never comment but you're videos are down to earth real!! Love the every day content
Thanks! Appreciate the support!🙏
Ian im definitely super jelous. The only thing in the ocean that is better than stone crab claws is fried soft blue crab. But thats it lol. Feel free to mail me some ill pay the freight lololol
😆
I like that wishard wire hat ian....
My wife and i just got back from Appalachiacola /st George island last weekend for the second time this year we are falling in love with Florida....i would love to do some crabbing next year....
It’s a lot of fun!
You guys earned another sub. Catch and cooks are always my favorites.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
That was a very nice haul! Hello to the Wishard family! Thanks for taking us along Tug and Crystal, I'm with Marlin...up on the table just looking at all the deliciousness lol! I love that sweet pup with the expressive face. I hope all of you have a wonderful week out there! P.S. I'm glad you're getting recognized, us land and sea folks love your videos and I'm glad to spend time watching them.
Appreciate it, and thanks for the kind words about the pup!
I have lived in Florida for over 20 years and this is the one thing I have yet to try do to the price. Now I need a boat and a treap.. LoL
That’s what we’re sayin’!
My sauce much like that with addition of some horseradish sauce and love those knuckles too.
Sounds good!
Ian, that was a good looking dinner. I love me some Stone crabs. That is one of the many things I miss about HSB. My neighbor was a commercial crab fisherman. He always took good care of me. Thank you for allowing me to come along. So glad you found two of your missing traps. Looking forward to the next video. God Bless
Thanks Sam!
Awesome video man, didn’t realize how big those crabs can get claw wise. Never tried stone crab but now I will! Much love as always man, glad you and the family are safe and thriving.
Thanks you! 🙌🏽
Excellent!! Stone Crabs are amazing. And the Ice Cream Truck. LIVING LARGE!!
It was a good day!
I literally just came across your channel. After watching this catch and cook, I couldn't resist hitting that subscribe button.
Welcome Aboard! Thanks for the support!
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL !! Fresh Stone crab and ice cream for dessert sounds like the perfect meal to me👊
It sure does!
I’d LOVE to go fishing, crabbing, gigging, scalloping, shrimping anytime!! You should hold a raffle!
Good idea! I'll think about it!
You guys are something else! I love watching your crab videos. Now I'm hungry! 😁
Thanks!
Awesome Hall, still on my bucket list to try.
It's a great experience!
“Wash your sister sauce” 😂😂 I’ve never heard it like that lmaoo that was funny
As always awesome video! Glad you found your traps! I have all the means to crab st aug but i worry about traps disappearing. Crab lab and dukes. Lol😂
You think the blue crab traps work better than the stone crab traps that are plastic and have cement on bottom?
It's a real issue for sure.
Yes and you can still use them for blue crabs
@@TugTrashOutdoors thank you sir
@@TugTrashOutdoors i have had mine stolen from my own dock.
Tug, love your family and your love of the outdoors and your crabbing adventures and of course the hunting adventures keep on keeping on Marc from Knoxville
Appreciate that
Wow... great haul...! I so miss "seafood" = allergy .. Dam ..! I "eat vicariously" through you all..!
That’s tough! Glad I can kinda help lol

Thank you for your outstanding channel. Thanks for sharing your stone crab claws !!! Yummy yummy !!!
Our pleasure!
Stone crab is my favorite!! I just subscribed. Good stuff, TY.
Appreciate the support!
How do you locate the right area, saltier water hard bottom? Also do you just do a MOB for your location of the traps?
Ledges and oysters
Y’all are my kind of people…. ❤
Yes we are!
Great video Ian! Always great to see you & Harold out crabbing. Good to be persistent in finding those 2 pots. I gotta try me some of that mustard sauce. Always great to see Krystal & Bianca
Thanks for sharing!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video. I enjoy all of your videos and content. Awesome job
I appreciate that!
There ya go making me hungry again. Thanks Buddy
Anytime!
If you get around Sebastian thats where ive called home port for 43yrs. Rite now if ya wanted to go the flounder been doing what flounder do,but between both tides i stay updated on where and what the snook are biting on. They're still finakie and its fishing.
Man you gotta harvest those amber jack collars and cheeks. I know it didn't go to waste, but that's some of the best parts. Great video btw!
You got it! Next trip
Just love waiting to see y’all awesome videos keep up the hard work
Appreciate you! 🙏
Never has stone crab but would like to some day. Not too many of those in Wyoming LOL. I have had bighorn sheep, moose, pronghorn, elk and deer in the freezer all at one time though. Just pronghorn and left over elk so far this year. But I have 2 1/2 more months to hunt. Been a very weird hot October this year. Opening day I had a 6 point bull elk walk across the county road in front of me. I passed because it was 90° F day. It can be that or a blizzard our weather is weird
I have Wyoming on my bucket list!
Former Wyoming guy here . Now in Florida but miss the hunting and fishing up there.
Going to have to learn some new techniques from Tug to harvest some bounty down here .
@@TugTrashOutdoors you must make the trip - it is an amazing place . I was fortunate to cover the entire state while employed. Dynamite hunting and fishing . Clean air and water , wide open spaces . Fantastic sky . You won't want to miss it.
Let me know when you're going and I will tell you where to visit. Make sure you have a lot of time as it's a big state with plenty to do and see.
Y’all make me wish I still lived there. Them claws looked so good.
😆🙌🏽
Good to see you with Harold.
Harold is the man!
Yummm stone crabs. Great video guys!
Appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it.
I know you like your own sauce, but for once you need to try Nance’s Sharp and Creamy Mustard. I put that stuff on everything! 😉
I'll have to give that a try!
Love your videos !! An Dukes is the greatest mayonnaise an was founded here in Greenville SC
I agree with ya, it’s the best!
We faired in central florda after the hurricane. ok, roof damage power out for 5 days but family safe, that's all that matters. I hope yall are doing well.b
Hate that for you but I’m happy you are safe!
Love your Cudjoe sales tee shirt . Big Piner Here !
Nice!
Howdy tug trash another great video keep on kicking ass yall!!!!!
Appreciate the support, thanks for watching!
@@TugTrashOutdoors always buddy I'd love to fish with you man that would be awesome or a deer hunt
Very Nice Claws❤
Appreciate it!
Yum. Love you all ❤
Thanks
L&P is the only Worcestershire sauce. Duke may make great sauces but I'm sorry Hellmans make the best sandwiches. For Cubans there's a mayo that some of the shops used to get that was the only mayo for a Cuban. Lol
I'm new to this channel. I'm a southern boy that grew up from B'ham to Mobile, to Memphis to Jacksonville to Brandon, Fla. I wish that Florida was the Florida that i left 35 years ago. My family is still in Brandon. Some of the areas of what I still call home got hit hard by Milton. My prayers go up. 🙏
Glad to have you here!
Just waiting for the day we all have been waiting for...... ' I finally did it .... She said yes!' lol anyways great video like always!!
🤷🏼♂️
I found mine almost a mile up River just because of the currents. Super super higher super low really causes currents to rip hard
Riverdale Wire is the best there is. I worked there for a bit back in the 80's. Right in Northbridge/Riverdale MA
Very cool!
Man O man just freaking YUMMM!!!!!!!
Yes sir
Big 👍🏻from Arkansas. Great channel. Glad your all safe👍🏻💛🙏🏻

Looks delicious, great job
Thank you
Back in the day.. 30 + years ago.. when I commercial fished grouper , the boat I worked on used birds to stabilize in rough weather .. we always returned to port at night and during the winter months we would sometimes have rough weather coming in , so we would use the birds and you wouId'nt believe the amount of stone crab traps that would be fouled on the birds.. we ate good... 😂
Sounds like towing a barge!
@TugTrashOutdoors It was.!! Lol
Enjoy your claws my mouth is watering again
Thanks man, it was a good day!
Thanks for sharing!!
Absolutely love the Stone Crab vids.
Appreciate it!
Butter on 🦀 is fire 🔥
🙌🏽
Nice Stone crab claws. Need to take some to South Carolina if you still hunt up there. The deer hunting has been great the last few days. We hunt between Bamberg and Norway.
It’s killing me I need to get up there
Solid video. Still digging that sweet crab hat.
🙌🏽
Pulling mine tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I’m a little worried with $700 in traps out there during a hurricane.
Hope you get them all back!
Those RUclips checks are only gonna get bigger!😂 congrats on 70k tug u and the family deserve it!
🙌🏽
That's quite the feast! And holy brachyura you are not kidding about the prices those fetch at the fish market.
It was a good day on the water!
Good times .... Yummy ... PEACE !!!!!!!!!
Appreciate the good vibes!
lea and perrins is the only washyersister and dukes is the only mayo - wont have any other in my fridge
🙌🏽
Try steaming the claws. We steam them in the same salt water from the river we catch them in.
Nice
Damn Tug! I watch all the videos, but damn you gotta say your buddies name right! Lol keep on catching!
Great video, amazing y'all enjoying probably what $300-$500 worth of crab and then ice cream truck for desert.. #InstantClassic Good stuff!
You got it! Nothing better than a good crab dinner and some ice cream!
We can't get Dukes here so I use Kewpie Japanese mayo for Dungeness crab. Looking forward to trying stone crab next year
Gonna try it
Imagine going back to steal tuggernuts traps and when you pull on the line, instead of seeing a trap you see tug in some night vision goggles and a spear
😆
I can hear the crabs telling each other when they got released ( dam they got yo claws to ) 🤣
😆
Awesome....can't believe y'all still have ice cream men. haven't seen one in my neighborhood in 8-10 years
They are rare these days!
Dang, those look delicious
Thanks man!
Loved the video brother
Thanks, appreciate you watching!
For recreational crabbers with just a few pots, to avoid theft or heavy currents, tie your buoy directly to a concrete block, than tie your trap to the block. Make sure you have enough line tied to the trap to be able to empty and rebait it in the boat while the block is sitting on the river bottom. Thieves will grab buoy line and pull up a heavy muddy block and release it, not seeing the line attached going to trap. You, however, will grab line going to trap and let the block fall back to bottom and bring trap into boat. You will be amazed how your catch ratio will go up. Traps and crabs are expensive, its worth the extra work.
@@officerkrupke4966 or just install trap cams
For your comment is great today and you sound like us old boys on the Chesapeake Bay.
@@mastergunnerysgt1258 Born and raised. As a toddler, I was given a crab claw to suck on instead of a pacifier.
@@officerkrupke4966 Sounds good to me.
Wouldn’t you have to pull concrete block to access line attached to trap?
Love the Luke reference... Can it catch
Great job 👍
Thanks man! 🙌🏽
Love the butter
Me too!
Dang! About a million dollars worth of stone crabs! Maybe not that much, but I'll bet it's close to five hundred!
Right?

Appreciate you Stan
Some big ass claws👍👍👍👏
Yes sir
The Trap House! 😂
😆
I guess you're not old enough to remember the jingle for Hellman's Mayo,,, that jingle is: "When You bring Out the Hellman's You've Brought Out the BEST",,, so just to make sure we're on the same page, Hellman's probably would have made Krabby Krystal into a stone crab lover,,, 🤣🤣🤣
Just joking guys,,, I love all your videos,, keep up the great work,,, 👍👍👍👍
😆 I like Hellman’s as a secondary choice
I think your dog wants some LOL😊😂
Hahaha, when I saw your Wishard Wire ball cap on an earlier video I thought it was the company that made the cable your tug boat used for towing the barges.
😆
Jealous of those claws. As a Dukes mayo fan I have to suggest Kewpie to you. Japanese mayo made in Tennessee and it is very good. Difference is they use egg yolks only instead of whole eggs and it has a richer flavor. It’s worth the extra money. Ok, enough about mayo.
I'm a Dukes guy but I'm always open to trying new stuff!
