This is such a great channel! I am a total gear head and have learned a ton from your videos already. I like the “all about” style of doing reviews. I am looking to buy the perfect rain jacket and mid layer and will keep making my way through your videos. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the video Chris! Very informative! Question though, i just bought a gamma SL. What fleece would you recommend to layer beneath. I would use the layer combination from 5-10 celsius up
I like the covert fleeces, but the best thing about the Gamma SL, is that you can use it with just about anything. It's one of my favorite and most used shells in the spring, summer and fall. It depends on your activity. If you're doing a high output activity, then maybe something lighter Like the kyanite, or Patagonia R1 Or R2 fleeces.
Nice illustration. I am struggling to find the right size for a Covert pullover hoodie which is a relaxed fit. My regular size is small sometimes can be XS. Not sure if I should get a regular size Small or I should size down for a XS.
I saw in your other video you really like the Kyanite LT when coaching indoors volleyball during winter. Would you say the Kyanite LT or Delta LT is more breathable and sweat wicking? I dont know which one to get for playing racket sports in cold halls, both during matches and inbetween.
I’m married to Delta LT Hoody but I’m not upgrading since Arc screwed the updates. They removed the hand pockets, ditched the full length zippers and added a non-removable balaclava. A pity, as I found the grid-fleece the best fabric so far.
This has really helped me! I’ve been looking for info comparing these fleeces and finally found it through this channel.

Hi, I would probably go with the small. It's a relaxed fit, but really not that loose. I'm an XL and the XL fits me great.

Updates are made every few years, and we never know what changes will be made. Somethings we like, others, not so much.🙂
