Haha! I remember asking you Sarah, years ago online if you had yellow fever and preferred Asian men. You denied it! And here you are with your Korean man hehehe!About the corona yeah Korea is awesome. We are better than Oz in this matter.
QLD! We handled it great here in Brisbane, Australia as you know Sara. Anyone interested in seeing Coronavirus view in Australia, I made lots of videos for you!
The UK has been all over the place with its handling. I personally feel we locked down too late. It started to hit really hard March/April time last year too, then cases spiked. But our government lifted lockdown in the summer, even with restrictions in place, it got bad again. Then it's just constant changing of what's gonna be done. We've had 4 lockdowns in total.
I live in the US as well. When this all broke out I expressed to my place of work about taking a medical leave because of my asthma and heart condition being up on the risk factor. Work literally told me to 'suck it up'. Mind you, we were also suppose to be required masks for our work BEFORE the virus and were not. When the virus did happen they supplied every department with masks but mine. Thankfully I had a bunch handmade cloth ones to provide for everyone...if they even wanted to wear it, because the argument was the whole world is in on this virus for political reasons @__@ cause that makes a lot of sense...
At least we have a real president now, who actually cares about people. And I'm super glad Reina Scully/Rin Rin Doll pointed me to those stretchy Japanese masks. They got me through the first month until I could order a pile of cute ones. @leeloo dallis, I hope your bosses wise up. Or that you can find a better job with more reasonable people. T_T
@@DemureAmour I'm so sorry. I wish that I knew how to convince people to give a sh*t about other people. Seems like the real plaque in the US is selfishness.
I remember someone asked me prior to moving to Korea if I was worried about Covid. I wasn't then, and I'm not now, but now I worry about my family and friends back in the US!
I’m in Melbourne and reckon we’ve done a pretty alright job of lockdown, especially with how relaxed the other states seem in comparison (my mum in rural qld doesn’t even have a mask). The one part i think everyone forgets about is when we had a nightly curfew for a few weeks. Between 9pm - 5am you couldn’t be out of your home unless you had an exemption so that took the cabin fever to 11 But now we only /have/ to wear masks in like,, shopping centres and ubers as a precaution so in the grand scheme of everything it was definitely worth it
I think for America, it's been difficult because our leadership were much more interested in scoring points against each other than they were keeping people safe. I'm hoping now that the need to score points has gone away and we've got a fairly compassionate person in charge at the top, the virus response will be a little better. My university, for instance, still wants me to come into class, even though my entire state is in the red most weeks. I'm hoping that some stricter mandates will be put in place that help us be safer, but allow for those who still have to leave the house for necessary reasons.
I live in Western Australia and I must admit I feel super fortunate. We've been without any corona in the community for over 9 months now. We still have returning people in quarantine that get diagnosed, but we haven't had that spill over into the community for a while now.
Hey Sara! I'm from India and we saw the second highest number of cases in the world. It was more of the lack of seriousness among people and not following lockdown guidelines strictly that made it worse, especially when labourers returned to their hometowns from urban areas. The situation is better now thankfully and healthcare workers are getting vaccinated followed by senior citizens and immunocompromised in the near future. Just wanted to say that I personally loved your home cooking vlogs and would love to see more. I'm not a big asmr fan but I really liked your cooking videos. Calming, neat, pretty and so tempting ❤️
I’m from Sydney and masks weren’t mandatory last year but they are currently now for residents in Greater Sydney, Wollongong, the Central Coast and the Blue Mountains for shopping centres etc etc otherwise they get a $200 on-the-spot fine
I live in a small NSW/VIC border town that had 5 total cases last March and none since. The most bizarre thing that happened were busses crammed full of people from bigger towns coming to buy out all of the toilet paper! The local IGA made people show proof of residence or they couldn't buy it. That single handedly saved our supply. My town is a popular holiday location, but when the border closed right around New Year, it killed the tourism and there was an 8km lineup of Victorian residents trying to get back home before the cut off or they had to submit to hotel quarantine. Not only did it leave people stranded, it caused mass movement across NSW (it was like an exodus). People who were holidaying in Sydney rushed home not knowing they were contagious and spread it back in Melbourne. I also have a cousin in the army who is posted on the Brisbane quarantine hotel where the outbreak happened.
You’re both so lucky. Here in Portugal yesterday we had +14,000 cases and +200 deaths, and we’re only 10 million. Because of this we’re now no.1 country in the world with most infections per million people....So we’re currently on national lockdown again 😕.
My daughter had just moved to Seoul for college in Jan. When the cases started hitting the news I got so worried for her. I'm a nurse and my manager gave me two boxes of the masks we use, to send to her. But honestly, I felt she was safer with how South Korea was and is handling the virus. Here in the states , since it's so big and there are so many "individual" ways of thinking, The mask thing was apparently too much for alot of people. It's getting better except in bigger cities but where I live in Florida, people actually did pretty well. I just hope things get to a level that's manageable and we can travel freely again. I need to visit my daughter and experience Korea! Loved this video! Thank you
I have worked from home for a few years now and am so happy that I don't have to go to work lol. The outbreak didn't really burden me because I stayed home a lot anyway, but I did get annoyed by not being able to buy toilet paper. Thankfully, the situation improved so much! I love your videos. Please get healthy. I am watching all of them to help my Korean studies and to support you from afar. Sending so much love and thoughts your way. Take care!
In Western Australia, we even had region lockdowns. So if you lived In the country, you couldn’t get to Perth or other regions for about 3 months unless you had permission. I had to move back to my family farm and do University online from out there. We’re very lucky to have a lot more freedom now and no cases. Great video as always Sara and Tiny!! 💜💜
Melbourne is really buzzing now. Restaurants, bars and cafes are allowed to open onto the streets to avoid crowding inside, so it creates a great atmosphere. Yes lockdown was tough but look at us now.
I’m in Brissie and really appreciate the swift strict action they took a couple of days ago. I must admit, I support wearing masks and do so when I go to shops cause we have to but its really hard for me to breathe. Not sure how much of it is linked to my claustrophobia but its a bit of a struggle although I fully support it.
Sara, the delivery service has improved so much (at least in Sydney), I personally had no problem with any of my online deliveries! From the Coles supermarket the delivery fee is very cheap and it's free if you order over $200. Also, I ordered so much stuff from online shopping and most have free delivery and all were delivered on time! And, at the moment in Sydney, we all have to wear a mask on public transport and public indoors! Overall, in Australia, we are virtually covid free!
I thought the TP hoarding was just in the US but I guess it happen in Australia also. Still puzzles me as to why just the TP, I was busy gathering non perishable food and water. Gotta have something to put in order to have something to come out in order to use the toilet paper.
@@recoil53 Was this in the beginning right before the lockdowns were implemented? Because I was gathering food items then when the TP craziness was going down.
Honestly thankful we had the lockdown here in Melbourne, and that the majority of people are still complying by wearing masks! Makes it so much simpler and safer. Anyone who complained about masks or not going out I just told them to think of their elderly or ill family members or friends, and how they must feel, what they are missing out on in their last years. The healthy and/or the younger generations have years to catch up on going out, shopping and travelling etc, not everyone has that same time.
Meanwhile in the UK... we are now in our third lockdown with no sign when it will end yet and the numbers are going up rather than down. I've been home working for almost a year now and barely seen friends and family all year. We had the same issue with hoarding as in Australia particulalry last march and the online shopping delivery slots are always booked up. It took months before the government encouraged the public to wear face masks and then to enforce it in certain indoor public spaces. In my opinion the British government have been way too slow to implement things and their priorities have been more about trying to stop people worrying and protecting the economy rather than to send a clear message that this is serious and to keep people safe. Throughout they have given out messages supposedly backed by the science only to go back on that hours or days later and tell the public something totally different. Really interesting to hear about how other countries have handled it differently.
The hoarding of toilet paper in Australia was actually the cause of a Japanese article talking about how Japan had worries for toilet paper because it came from Hong Kong, which was in lock down at the time. It was mistranslated and caused widespread panic thinking there’d be a shortage. It was right in a way 🙃
Hello from Spain and the third wave of corona. Spain has done pretty bad, after the strict lockdown the numbers were really good, but our government didn't put strict restrictions for tourist to come in or people moving inside the country, so naturally things started to get worse and worse and we had a second wave and now we are on the third. I don't think we will have another strict lockdown, and the vaccines have already started to get administered, so our hope it's on the vaccine. We have to wear a mask at all times, we have a curfew and only 6 people can meet at once, so hopefully with all of this corona will be over soon. Lots of love from Spain, I loved the video
I had no idea about the situation in Korea and Australia, im glad they are doing better then latinamerica and the US, I know they have string quarantine in Bogota colombia, and some parts of Argentina, but people don't like mask.
I'm coming to Korea in February for an exchange program. I can't wait to see the differences between how Korea is handling it versus how America is handling it (because we aren't really doing anything). But with that said, I'm also a bit worried that I'm going to make a mistake when trying to follow all of the social distancing measures, just because of the language barrier. But overall, I'm excited to feel a bit safer because I know that Korea is handling it quite well. I was in Korea last February and even then, Korea was already preparing to fight corona.
I am very envious of how Korea and Australia are handling Covid. Thank you for sharing all the details. I live in the UK and we are one of the best examples of what not to do. Response from the government was always late and also people were and still are very keen to break and bend the rules. I personally know a lot people who broke lockdown or Tier levels rules thinking their reasons were valid and then were surprised that so many other people followed the same reasoning and our numbers went through the roof. I was able to work from home for several months but when I changed departments and had to come to the office at the hospital everyday, it took about a month and I was sick with Covid with 30 other people from my department. In my office, the outbreak could have been a lot smaller if they sent everyone for testing and to work from home as soon as people started to develop cold like symptoms. No one told us that sore throat with no other symptoms is also a Covid symptom. Not to mention rush or gastro issues. I try to behave as if the lockdown was here all the time and since March I mostly just go out to work or supermarket. And I got sick at work were preventive measure were in place.
I've read about how Boris Johnson has been handling the situation. Sadly he has been doing better than Donald Trump. We have people here throwing public tantrums, having anti-mask protests, and claiming that Covid isn't real.
TP rolls come in massive packs here in the US too but you can bet people were hoarding it like crazy 🙄 I worked at a small local shop in a rural area and were suddenly getting flooded with customers who came all the way from town to by TP. We only sold single rolls 😭 luckily that died down after the first wave of panic.
Australia officially as of 22/01/21 have had ZERO community transmission in FIVE consecutive days. We only have cases in quarantine hotels from people overseas 💪🏻
That three day lockdown happened while my sister was staying at her dad's place. It was good to see such swift action taken to ensure it didn't spread a heap and so they could track down anyone who had contact
It’s been really interesting how things have been readjusted in different areas, I live in regional NSW and have watched our town go from only Woolworths and pizza joints doing delivery to almost every shop doing delivery. It’s also been challenging as the majority of my family live in NSW but in hotspot areas, so even when I’m in the same state 4hrs away from them I’ve seen only one sibling who lives an hour from me in months and months, it makes the distance seem huge but we have been so lucky in Australia so I can’t complain and can only hope things get better for other countries around the world! And I can confidently state that full time study for a bachelor in lockdown in a two bedroom unit with no backyard and no access to coffee is not an experience I’d like to repeat! 😂
I live in Perth and we have been covid free for 9 months now. I was watching some dance cover videos of some dancers in Perth and half the comments were "iN a PaNdEmIc?" or "wHeRe ArE yOuR mAsKs". It's like people just don't realise other places experience things differently. The second we have community transmission in Perth I'll put my mask on and stay home as much as possible.
Living in Melbourne during lockdown was very hard. I personally wasn’t able to work but broke curfew hours to pick my son from work. Travelling the city during this period was freaky - virtually empty, we hardy saw another vehicle. Now we are in a better situation even hosting the tennis and it feels like back to normal. Even if there was one communal case, everyone lined up to be tested. I personally will always wear a mask (maybe lowered when in the hot weather). Like you I don’t understand the revolt about wearing them. A lot of the population in Melbourne are avoiding public transport so the roads have become even more busier than before lockdown. It’s a shame since we were enjoying cleaner air and wonderful sunrises/sunsets. Living thru the harsh lockdowns has made us aware that we don’t want to do it again for so long so I see most of the population more than willing to follow the rules and guidelines. At the moment, a few people are working from home and those in tertiary education are learning remotely. It took me while to get used to the quiet but now I am getting used to the usual noises around us. It was tough especially mentally and we missed those we could not meet with but now it seems such a long time ago. Let’s hope we don’t go down that road. Others are learning from our experience and I hope they can achieve similar results. Take care and be safe.🇦🇺
i remember going to coles and woolies not yet knowing about the hoarding situation and seeing a big line outside and people fighting for toilet paper :/
Good lord the horror.. I didn't see fighting but I just couldn't work out why suddenly everyone became bakers haha why buy all the flour? All that banana bread haha
I live in Perth and our premier has done such an amazing job with the lockdown. I know of someone who came in from Brisbane, was meant to be in quarantine for 2 weeks and broke it, they went to the doctors, I’m sketchy on why but the doctor called the police and he was immediately arrested. But I think this is why home quarantine is not a good idea for Australia, they’re too happy to break the rules sadly. But I do know of some people who can home quarantine, they have random police checks several times a day to make sure they’re home (even at 3am). Sara you may be interested in an Australian Story they did about the “Spanish” flu from world war 1. Its so interesting to see the comparisons. I guess because we are so isolated from the world closing international borders is really easy for us here. Loved this video, it’s so interesting to see how differently this situation is being managed
In pakistan, there is so much difference from city to city that even if you travel from the capital, Islamabad to another city for instance peshawar, or lahore you would see a difference in the way people behave and take measures. At some places, there will be a strict lockdown and at others you wouldn't even feel there is a virus going on. Its because of the smart lockdown approach taken by the government, so I would say this method kept the cases at bay and also didn't effect the economy.
I'm working from home since last March here in the US. Every time they plan on bringing us back to the office, it's after a major holiday and we have a case spike 14 days later. I hope people skip Valentine's Day. Fortunately Pennsylvania has a Mask Mandate, so you must wear a mask to go into a store, or a mini mart. We had 3 phases of lockdown, Red, Yellow, and Green. Our Yellow Phase was a lot like Seoul's Level 2.5. We don't have lockdowns but indoor dining gets banned during case spikes (again, a lot like Seoul's 2.5 or 3.).
I agree with stricter lockdowns. I agree with mandatory mask-wearing on your essential outdoor trips. I too have missed 1st birthdays for young nieces, have had to cancel long-planned trips, and feel like my mental health has taken a deep dive. All because the policies and measures in place are wishy-washy and ineffective. I effectively put my "life" on hold but not everyone is willing to do the same for their neighbour, and that's really sad. Before the giant paragraph begins, I'd like to say your videos definitely help me see the light at the end of all this. Your ability to find adventure anywhere keeps me tuning in. I love you and Tiny so much and I'm so happy for your happiness!
Even ahead of this short 3 day lockdown in Brisbane, people were panic buying and supermarkets had to restrict how many items shoppers could buy for things like toilet paper and frozen vegetables. It was ridiculous! The mask mandate and some restrictions lifted overnight but they are still recommending Greater Brisbane wear masks on public transport and when social distancing isn’t possible, so I’m interested to see how many Brisbanites keep wearing them when they won’t be fined not to.
I'm in the US and your government has (sadly) done better than ours. Yours may be behind the 8 ball and not realize things like the school year are coming up, but they have eventually reacted. Our outgoing administration said "I did my part" and golfed.
Them freaking out about 1000 cases per day in December while the UK had 60,000 really put it into perspective. The UK’s response has not been good at all...
These videos always make me feel so happy and have just the best chill vibes 💜✨ even when talking about heavy topics, it feels like a conversation with friends

I was in Melbourne as a working holiday maker (2nd year) until early of April 2020 , The rockdown was so insane, ppl lost jobs , can't do almost everything like usual. every single day was like a frustrating day. even you have a ticket to go back to your country. It can be canceled all of sudden. Rockdown rules are crazier than you think. I think It's so strict n strong, Fine is so expensive if you don't follow the rules( wearing mask, curfew, don't gather, don't have a party, can't go to another states etc) even Quarantine at a hotel , it costs a lot ! . because AUS did a good job for the virus now they're having a joyful life like usual. well.... Korea... now we're under a revised 2.5 phase of social distancing tho, ppl are dying from economical problems like restaurants, cafes, indoor sports things, drinking places, bar, club etc . if we do rockdown as Aus did, I think It's going to ruin all the ppl & economy.
I’m a doctor in Melbourne Australia - the lockdowns were SO necessary, and so is hotel quarantine - Australians can’t be trusted to quarantine at home and not leave/have people over whilst quarantining!!! I was really upset at WHO and our government for not allowing us to wear masks at work until there was SO much community transmission and whole teams from hospitals were furloughed for 2 weeks / colleagues got sick from patients. I had to do clinics where I’d see 40+ patients and their support person in a tiny room over a morning, and I wasn’t ALLOWED to wear a mask.
Australia not providing medical staff with masks for so long upset me to no end. My mum’s a nurse in Brisbane and she and her colleagues weren’t provided with masks for months! I was so upset. Thank you so much for your hard work and I’m so sorry you had to go through all that stress and hardship. And yes I agree I think Australia has to hotel quarantine since there’s no sort of quarantine app there that I know of. Korea can do home quarantines because they’ve created a really thorough tracking app that quarantining people must download and update multiple times a day as well as having random checkups to make sure they’re with their phone.
I am Polish (although I do not live in Poland) and people there were also unwilling to wear masks. I honestly have no idea where that mentality is coming from. Till date there are still lots of people who do not believe the virus is real and do not want to be vaccinated. And if they just followed the rules from the beginning many lockdowns could have been avoided.
Hi living in qld 🙋🏼♀️ I don’t want them to bring in compulsory masks but like if they did I wouldn’t complain. I just am never that close to people at work even with my co workers we have the space that we are always like 6ft away and the customers are also quite distant from me and the only other place I go is the gym and we sanitise between uses and no one wants to be near someone else anyway I leave if the gyms busy and always have before the Rona 😂 it’s made me fully question everything though like the thought that I sat on a 24hr flight with no mask scares me like why did I think that was normal a few years ago
I'm Italian but live in the UK while all my family still lives there so I had the possibility to see how both countries acted. Unfortunately is not too good on both of them. Lots of cases and lots, way to many deaths. Italy moved faster and more firmly than the UK thankfully (because in the south Italy the health infrastructure is not the best) At the current moment both countries are still struggling, the only positive I can see is how efficiently the UK is doing with the vaccine distribution and administration In both countries I saw a lot of resistance from the public to the "track and trace" and the mask mandate because as westerner culture it was very different. I am a bit ashamed of it, I wish the people of my two countries were less selfish and took more care of their neighbour and fellow citizen Hopefully the vaccine will roll out to everyone by the end of the year, no new variants come out and we can go back to a sense of normality :) For my personal life I'm thankful the company I work for allowed us to work from home since the first day of lock down so I have been on smart working ever since + I live in a very quiet area where there are more animals than people xD In our little corner of the world we did quite well and the entire town pulled together so we saw no cases but we are still all wearing masks and only going to the shop for food or out to walk the dogs Thank you for this video guys :) It's extremely interesting to see different experience on how people are navigating such an important period in our communal lives Love you both
Yeah Europe is a mess. Ireland does lots of strict lockdowns but we still have high cases so its so tough on our mental health 😭 I lived in Sweden at the beginning of the pandemic and you could pretend corona didn’t exist almost, i don’t understand how they can do it.
In the US the price of masks and nitrile gloves went up - I was pricing stuff to do a clean up (eventually) when Covid-19 hit. Right now the best prices on those gloves (similar to examination gloves) are about 4x what it was before.
I wish New York City would enforce the mask wearing more. On the subway, there are lots of people not wearing masks, or they have them below their noses. There is a rise in cases now as well. If there was a enforcement like in Australia, maybe the USA could’ve prevented large COVID numbers.
Korea and Australia, two places I'd much rather be than america rn 😂 i make aesthetic lifestyle videos, check them out and let me know what you think :)
I don’t enjoy wearing a mask cuz humans breathe out water vapour with CO2 and the water vapour clogs up the mask. So I seperate the “breathing in thru the nose” part from the “breathing out thru the mouth” part of the mask with a elastic band around my head. An awkward hack so why can’t a better cheap mask be designed !?
The UK is a disaster at the moment. We've had several hard lockdowns and are currently in another one.... the issue is that a portion of the country doesn't see it as a necessary action, nor do they think that masks work. Our government has really screwed up the handling of the situation and now we're all feeling the affects. Releasing lockdown for Christmas was really the worst decision and our NHS is now overrun with new cases and the highest rate per capita (in the world I believe?), despite the fact that countries of similar sizes such as Korea and Japan have had much more success. It's the mask wearing culture that we need to get serious about over here.

But now we only /have/ to wear masks in like,, shopping centres and ubers as a precaution so in the grand scheme of everything it was definitely worth it
Even I forget we had a curfew hahha! That was a crazy time

Thank you for another amazing video! 💞
Thank you for watching!

This is really interesting to watch, I'm in Europe and it's fascinating how differently the pandemic was / is handled around the world.
Imagine trying to relate to kids in 30 years about this 🤦♀️😂
"Kids, when I was your age we had to masks for a year and couldn't travel anywhere, go outside and play and appreciate your freedom children~"
잘 보고가요.. 코로나 조심하세요.
Take care!
Lol in the US, people still hoarded the toilet paper even though we have bags double that size 😆
Wow I didn't know Western Australia had regional lockdowns! I'm glad it worked but it must have been so hard at the time!

Melbourne is really buzzing now. Restaurants, bars and cafes are allowed to open onto the streets to avoid crowding inside, so it creates a great atmosphere. Yes lockdown was tough but look at us now.
Watching this months after posting and southern Australia has been in lockdown over 2 months now .
Hello from Sydney! 😁
So excited to watch this 😍
Thank you for stopping by so early! I really appreciate it.
Sara, the delivery service has improved so much (at least in Sydney), I
personally had no problem with any of my online deliveries! From the
Coles supermarket the delivery fee is very cheap and it's free if you
order over $200. Also, I ordered so much stuff from online shopping and
most have free delivery and all were delivered on time! And, at the moment in Sydney, we all have to wear a mask on public transport and public indoors! Overall, in Australia, we are virtually covid free!
Totally agree it has really improved...
I thought the TP hoarding was just in the US but I guess it happen in Australia also. Still puzzles me as to why just the TP, I was busy gathering non perishable food and water. Gotta have something to put in order to have something to come out in order to use the toilet paper.
Pasta, beans, canned goods, cleaning supplies, flour, and yeast all sold out and shelves were empty for weeks.
@@recoil53 Was this in the beginning right before the lockdowns were implemented? Because I was gathering food items then when the TP craziness was going down.
@@rickmarr8784 Yes, people were panicked and that also forced others to buy stuff in case everything sold out.
Once it began, hoarding fed on itself.
It was right in a way 🙃
@Di G I didn't even know about that oh my god we didn't stand a chance
Loved you in bridgerton!! Jks love you guys.
*Cries in the US* :(
It’s been really interesting how things have been readjusted in different areas, I live in regional NSW and have watched our town go from only Woolworths and pizza joints doing delivery to almost every shop doing delivery.

I'm in england. Our government has not handling it very well
I'm in the US and your government has (sadly) done better than ours. Yours may be behind the 8 ball and not realize things like the school year are coming up, but they have eventually reacted. Our outgoing administration said "I did my part" and golfed.

Indonesians are just not good at obeying rules tho, the rona cases here everyday be like: 📈📈📈

I just am never that close to people at work even with my co workers we have the space that we are always like 6ft away and the customers are also quite distant from me and the only other place I go is the gym and we sanitise between uses and no one wants to be near someone else anyway I leave if the gyms busy and always have before the Rona 😂 it’s made me fully question everything though like the thought that I sat on a 24hr flight with no mask scares me like why did I think that was normal a few years ago
a great example of handling is badly is alberta, canada!!
I'm Italian but live in the UK while all my family still lives there so I had the possibility to see how both countries acted. Unfortunately is not too good on both of them. Lots of cases and lots, way to many deaths. Italy moved faster and more firmly than the UK thankfully (because in the south Italy the health infrastructure is not the best)
At the current moment both countries are still struggling, the only positive I can see is how efficiently the UK is doing with the vaccine distribution and administration
In both countries I saw a lot of resistance from the public to the "track and trace" and the mask mandate because as westerner culture it was very different. I am a bit ashamed of it, I wish the people of my two countries were less selfish and took more care of their neighbour and fellow citizen
Hopefully the vaccine will roll out to everyone by the end of the year, no new variants come out and we can go back to a sense of normality :)
For my personal life I'm thankful the company I work for allowed us to work from home since the first day of lock down so I have been on smart working ever since + I live in a very quiet area where there are more animals than people xD In our little corner of the world we did quite well and the entire town pulled together so we saw no cases but we are still all wearing masks and only going to the shop for food or out to walk the dogs
Thank you for this video guys :) It's extremely interesting to see different experience on how people are navigating such an important period in our communal lives
Love you both
The UK is horrendous. I don't know what they're doing but it clearly isn't working!! It's miserable here 😭🙄
Yeah Europe is a mess. Ireland does lots of strict lockdowns but we still have high cases so its so tough on our mental health 😭 I lived in Sweden at the beginning of the pandemic and you could pretend corona didn’t exist almost, i don’t understand how they can do it.
That's interesting.. masks here were about 50rs before corona.. n post corona it's about 10-25 rs.. it actually reduced!!
Bulk production I guess.
In the US the price of masks and nitrile gloves went up - I was pricing stuff to do a clean up (eventually) when Covid-19 hit.
Right now the best prices on those gloves (similar to examination gloves) are about 4x what it was before.
@@recoil53 wow... Everyone handled it so differently..
I wish New York City would enforce the mask wearing more. On the subway, there are lots of people not wearing masks, or they have them below their noses. There is a rise in cases now as well. If there was a enforcement like in Australia, maybe the USA could’ve prevented large COVID numbers.
Police violate mask mandates - and get very in your face if you point it out.
