so many people hate on the electronic steering in the q50.... but none of them have taken it to the track or a serpentine road, its freaking incredible.

I think many of those reviewers must never put it in Sport or Sport+ where it becomes super sharp and responsive.
I've driven this car through numerous mountain passes around CO and it's dead on.

I’ve never driven anything that handles quite like it, actually.

VQ long predates Renault's involvement w/Nissan. They started using it in production ~1995, would have been in development well before that. Renault didn't become involved with Nissan until 1999.
Moreover, the VQs used in Renault's minivan are made in Japan and imported to the EU.

Sebastian has good things to say about the Q50, while the clowns at Edmunds don't think that this is a good car, LOL. Btw, I bought one, and was so happy to trade in my 2013 Audi A4.

Q50 Eua Rouge = Skyline GTR
I personally think the new front of the car looks more like the older Skylines

I bought a lightly used 2015 q50 in late 2017 and I love it. Driving it hard on the road up to Caesar’s Head in South Carolina was the most fun I’ve had in a couple of years. Infiniti, if you ever read this it’s a great great car. The center console and glove box are too small, everything else is fantastic.
