Al Borland builds an airplane! I keep waiting for Tim Taylor to come crashing into scene and wreck something. 😆 Just kidding. Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos.
300th subscriber! I wish I could be at your heels like a puppy learning how you did this. I'll be watching all your videos to learn how to do this, cause your right a lot of other peoples projects are train wrecks and to be honest, i would rather be working on my own train wreck then some one else's.
Great concept! I am going to look at a 55 tri-pacer that has not flown in some time . It has been disassembled and sitting in a shed. I too am looking to convert it into a pacer which would be my dream machine. Hope it is not a rust bucket!
Ditto what TheTexasCyclone and all the others are saying!! When can we expect more videos? I know life gets in the way of airplane building, but I think this is a cool concept and I'd like to see more. Thanks for what you have done so far.
I've gone and watched all of your videos about the PA18 and have really enjoyed each of them. I'm starting my build soon and your ideas are great. I really appreciate these videos! I noticed that I got to video #8 or #9 and then they skipped to #15. Are the other videos available? You've got me hooked. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching and the nice words Wes. I'm in the process of retiring and moving to another state. I can't wait to get the project going again. You haven't missed any episodes, they're numbered as I wrote them but I didn't film them in order. I'll fill in the missing ones once I get back in the saddle.
Cool concept. I'm looking to pick up a pa22 in a week or so and start a similar journey. I'm surprised how few "project" videos there are on you tube for pipers... or any light aurcraft really. Many seem like they have huge gaps between progress updates. Definitely subscribed. By the way... where in Texas are you located? Saw the flags in the background there. Good luck!
+TheTexasPsyclone Thanks for watching and thanks for subscribing my friend. You mentioned a PA22, I actually have a PA22 that I'm just about to start the stretch process to convert it to a Stretched Pacer, Producer, Bushmaster clone. I'll be videoing that project as well. I'm not in Texas currently but my family was born and raised in Texas and I'll be a Texan all my life. That Come and Take It flag was actually bought on sacred ground, at the Alamo. Good luck on your PA22 buddy and please feel free to share my channel on your social media.
Thank you for this. I’m starting my scratch built super cub based on the north land drawings.
This guy is so relatable. Cut out the middle man, cut out the middle man, cut out the middleman.
Rad. Wish you kept these goin.

Great videos! Where did you get the blueprints for your pa-18?
Are you still around?
What ever happened to this project?
