My Nic suffers with opioid addiction. I can’t wait to see the movie. The story is so close to ours it’s scary. He has overdosed twice and he has tried to stop using several times, always going back. We have tried getting him help with his mental state, he will go for a few weeks and then say it’s not working for him. I’m not sure witch way to go next but I know I will never give up on him. I love my Beautiful Boy!
R.L. A. If you haven't read the father/son books (by Nic and David Sheff) already, they are already out. They are very helpful, and are a great tool to help yourself and your loved ones. I got more out of the son's book, but i am an addicted daughter in long term recovery, so that makes sense. My mother seems to be learning a lot from David's book.
