A tip on the elden beast ring attack, If you head to the opposing side of the arena from him, you'll be closer to where he pops back up after the attack. Of course, when you are closer you tend to deal with the nebula explosion attack or potentially wave of gold.

What a horribly designed boss fight.
I think they should have made them two separate fights. Radagon is great but Elden Beast isn't very fun
