That's why I don't watch those stupid competitions. You're at the mercy of those "expert judges who are often biased. The greatest vocalist of our time has to go to Plan B. This performance here, I saw the same one she did at 12 yo and nobody's listening. Then this. I was practically sobbing on this one. Coming back with a vengeance!

@@Mowienatic726 first time I saw her the promoters stuff us with those plug in entertainers that quite frankly nobody cares about. It was 11:30 pm when she came out. Elderly fans who were there on Mother's Day got sleepy already in anticipation. Suddenly, she came out and...her beautiful powerful voice reverberated on the whole stadium. I wasn't able to take pictures for fear of missing every freaking note. You know the saying about a person who lit up the room, well, Morissette set it on TNT!
This performance always gives me goosebumps no matter how many times ive seen it.

Oh hey babes! She is just something else. It's the body her voice has and she knows when to turn it up and turn it down and loop around and twist and turn. SHE👏ATE👏IT👏UP!!!!! Miss JHud would be so proud and be thoroughly impressed. "LISTEN" this song can be easily a train wreck when someone does too many things but Morisette always always does it justice with her own Morisette. And she said, "dito pa rin amo" meaning, "I'm still here"
Yes, her testimony for the journey she’s been through was so warming to hear 🥰☺️she is literally just perfection. Mori’s spirit alongside her talent makes her so easy to fall in love with. Thanks, Cha & Gabe, for featuring this "Listen" performance by Morissette, it's one of my most favorite among her performances. 🥰 The way she delivered this, it's heartfelt, powerful and intense, I get the goosebumps everytime I watch this. It was made more meaningful because she narrated her journey. Her road to success was not easy one, it had a lot of doors closing on her, lots of heartbreaks, can you imagine what a nine-year old girl felt losing in a competition? But despite all these, she never gave up on her dreams, she persevered, she pushed on, honed her talent, improved her skills, and now we are witnessing the result: a world-class performer and artist.🥰
To be honest, I like this better than the original Beyonce rendition, which I heard on the radio and have watched the video. Morissette's grit, growls and squeaks did it for me, and that finale which is more dramatic for me, like a Whitney Houston finale, David Foster-style. Also add the audience"s cheers and applause in this video, and all in all, it's much better and moving, for me at least. I'm glad you appreciated it and felt it. 🥰
Thank you for such a thoughtful response Ronald 🥰we completely agree. Hearing Morissette speak on the trials and tribulations that she has endured throughout her career was inspiring. She had so many doors close and could’ve just stopped pursuing her passion. Instead she let her setbacks become her comeback and overcame. This song is the epitome of Morissette’s journey to success. The growls, grit and raspy tone she was using to her belts and runs were perfectly executed. Beyoncé would be extremely proud of this display of immense talent. Only up from here for Mori❤. She has her fans and David that support her decisions and we will continue to support her. Can’t wait for her new music to drop, we are beyond excited 🎉❤. Without a doubt a killer performance 🔥🔥
