Another cool vid bro. You got to love a good edc knife. Especially at that price. I mean if you are going to carry a knife to use every day... It might as well be one that you can replace for a 5 to 10 bucks.
When you take Ozark Trail knives and you take a balance of quality versus price you get way more than you pay for and you can't say that for most knives good God I hope they don't catch on thanks for the video
They are an affordable option. Easy to find and getting better. The lockup on the new Silver Shaft is incredibly solid and the action feels new and different. It's really good. My next video puts it to work.
I bought a few of the white ones a week ago and went back today to get a couple more and they were down to a few dozen. If you want one, you better get them fast !!
Go on ahead and give the gray one a bend and tell me how you feel. Steel liners beat flimsy plastic all day. I prefer knowing the orange has d2 instead of mystery stainless. There's a reason the orange one is more sought after even with the new one now released.
I was interested to see the green one in detail. The orange one way hyped by youtubers and now it doesn't exist anymore, not available in stores, can only be bought at inflated prices from scammers on ebay. Then the white one came out and same thing- hyped by youtubers, disappears from stock, no longer available. But for shoppers frustrated that they can't get the orange or white, the gray one had been ignored by youtube and consequently you can still find them in stores. It looks good for $5.
My Walmart has the original orange knife. I'm looking for the version 2. It jas a reversible clip and a few other changes. Which one would you get if you could find them?
Thanks for the heads up. My local stores don't have them yet. Keeping an eye out. I personally don't mind the cheap 3CR ~ 5CR steel its super easy to sharpen, and with moderate duty use I only need to touch them up once every ~3 weeks on ceramic rods and a strop
They don't name the stainless steel on the package? Probably gonna be some alphabet steel around 5cr or something. Which is.. fine. Especially at $5. But the D2 on the orange wugout is gonna run laps around it with edge retention
i got the orange wugout when i seen the hype. i scooped the green Tanto as a back up. Today the stormtrooper got dropped at my door at 10am been flicking and watching vids here and there all day lol. next i guess is the flip assist and a few other 5 dollar wugouts. Benchmade is cooked
I'd be surprised to find any of those options at the local store or the website at this point. I looked yesterday for the orange one and it's not available. But whenever I see them in the store I'll get one. I'm hell on knives because I work in crawl spaces a lot. And it's easy to lose a knife under a house. The $10 orange one is appealing for the fugly color that's easy to see. My Kershaw is missing screws from years of use and getting crawled on. Hopefully the knives you showed will be in stock soon.
The orange model has taken the internet by storm. It'll probably be hard to find in stock. The white ( Silver Shaft) is a Christmas drop that my Walmart put out early ( I think). I do hope you find both though. Definitely worth the money.
The weight needs to be below 2 ounces, and the blade material has got to be at least nitro V or VG 10 or like the Bugout, SV 30. Otherwise, it’s just a look-alike not really in competition.
@ does the Ozarks run on bearings or washers. I’d recommend a small bird and trout fixed-blade for what you do. Infinitely simpler to clean and to keep bacteria out of.
Yeah and a cheap pocket knife for work is really handy. Why beat up a nice one? My knives get trashed or lost so I'm watching this and maybe I'll get a cheap knife. The Kershaw I've been carrying lost 2 screws after a couple years of use. So I need a new knife. And spending a lot of money doesn't make sense.
You can't even be serious... Milwaukee fastback?? For a guy that's too good for ANYTHING from Walmart I expected way more. You went from having a valid argument to that guy with a fastback. Haha. I hope you love it dude but I prefer real knives not knives made by Milwaukee. That's what's great about this hobby, their are more choices than even necessary. A knife for everyone!
@@FrankToThePointYep. Love the fastback. I always have a pocket knife on me. Right now it’s the microtech utx 85 and the toor merchant but if I’m working I always have the fastback in a pocket somewhere. Lightweight durable and you can drag it across anything and just swap out the blade. Why would you want a beater that you have to sharpen all the time? If you’re going to carry a piece of junk as a backup what’s better than a cheap utility knife?

It does make a lot of sense to have your daily easily replaceable
I call the orange one the Punisher 😂
The only one with D2 steel I bought 5 of them
I bought 2 of the white handled one went back 2 days later they were all gone amazingly good action for a $5 knife and yes it's worth the $5
They do go fast...

Bought Three Ozark knives today and going to return one black one
I do it often. They put them back on the shelf even of you tell them they are broken or malfunction

Obviously

Chance to get free stuff. It's random but you gotta be subd
The orange sold out bc it had d2 steel and axis lock. All the other ozark trails are 3-5cr steel
Missed the orange one. They had several white ones i like it but man the action on the green one was soo smooth.Going back for another green one.✌🏼
My white model jas the best Ozark Trail action iv ever experienced. By far. Get them both dude it's 5 bucks

Nope, no steel info. Blades don't swap either

There's a new orange D2 out with a few upgrades. The new ones have a reversible clip. Look for that

Cant even find the Silver one on the website. Good find, bud
Yah I havent seen any buzz about it yet. I think my Walmart put it out early. I'm sure it'll be in most stores soon. Good luck hunting
Is it made in the USA??
Which one?
all from China.
How you doing brother. Does the new Ozarktrail trail green knife have middle bearings ? Or plastic?
It's a white plastic with metal balls
I've heard that Benchmade dropped the Bugout from there line because they couldn't compete with Walmart!
Haha... that would never happen. The Benchmade bug-out is one of the most sold knives ever produced
Part/Item numbers?! 🤷🏻♂️
For which one?
@@FrankToThePoint both of the green Ozark Trails knives. 👍

I don't know how you forgot to factor in price there. This is a $5 knife
@ exactly. It’s a replica.

potty talk is unnecessary:>(
Hard pass I don't do Wal-Mart...for anything. You get what you pay for...

@@comfortablynumb9342get a fast back for 10 bucks. Super tuff and you never have to sharpen it. Best work knife you can get
