Hi friends! I have a little bit of a different video for you all today. This video is going to be a DIY makeup hack where you I will be showing you how you can repurpose some of the existing eyeshadow palettes in your collection to make your own holy grail eyeshadow palettes. I am going to be using some of the ones in my stash from Viseart that I never get to use. I will be taking you along for the ride as I craft my palette AND I will be sharing lots of tips on how you can approach this project at home with your own collection.

Viseart & Natasha denona make my favorites mattes, the customization is just icing on the 🎂.
The Viseart shimmers are also some of my favs, they are more satin yet still have really good shine …but without all the micro-glitter that seems to be in everything.

Sofia you got me HOOKED on viseart!!! I ordered several during their winter sale and I love them so much!!! I’m bummed though after I placed my order they informed me the neutral mattes were out of stock, I’m patiently awaiting another sale because I want to pick up every palette I don’t have, the formula is very mature eyelid friendly I love that. OMG Sofia! I just made two custom Viseart palettes for the FIRST TIME! I made one palette from my large-sized neutral matte, cashmere and chroma theory palettes. I then made a second palette from my smaller-sized matte dark, warm, and milieu palettes. I did this an hour ago, before seeing your video. I'm a bit spooked by this coincidence! I've been thinking of creating my own "dream palette" from my Natasha Denona bronze and retro palettes. There are too many shades in each that I just don't use. I love plum tones with bronzes and golds, so that is what I'd be going for with Bronze and Retro.

This was so much fun to watch!! I did this same thing with my viseart pro palette. The big one! I wanted to add some of my favorite viseart shimmers since it’s an all matte palette. By the way, I finally figured out who you remind me of….a blonde Anne Hathaway!! Your Mom reminds me of a younger Lauren Hutton and you remind me of Anne Hathaway!! Two gorgeous ladies!!!! That has definitely crossed my mind because I never use the bigger ones but the shadows in there are SO good! I need to be a makeup artist to use them lol

I was planning to do this too when I bought the Viseart petite mattes neutral and petites sultry muse. But I haven’t gotten around it yet because I don’t know how to. Thank goodness for this video I feel inspired again to try customizing my own palette. Sofia, you’re a godsend! ❤

My ultimate everyday palette would have olive leaning and neutral browns and the most sparkly shimmer shades I can find. I am slowly curating as I come across shades that fit the bill. I do like to mix and match palettes when I have the time but sometimes I need to grab and go without thinking.
That would be a beautiful palette! I love a lot of the greenish and olive/brown tones that have been released lately

I think that they are great for day to night! As long as you include a variation of lighter and darker mattes

I love both palettes you created. I’d shamelessly copy them but both my sultry muse and mattes milleu are not easy to remove and I’m scared I’ll ruin them. I love that @Viseart came out with the smaller versions of these palettes. How good would one of those be for travel especially all mixed up as you’ve done here?!!

It's a full unit from Pottery Barn (3 pieces that they drill together during delivery) I have it linked in my home tour video!
I like the palettes you created, but I thought I was unlikely to do that with my palettes because I would lose the colour stories the manufacturer intended and the names of the colours. What I have done is create a palette extender kit mainly with neutral MAC single eyeshadows to use when a palette has a colour missing that I want to use with it. For example, with the Natasha Denona Baby Gold palette, I might add a paler colour to use on my brow bone and inner corners and a paler gold shimmer. I keep this kit in a small storage box that I keep out all the time.

Haha I thought of that! I think the Viseart one is basically the same thing. I haven't tried the formula of Mario's palette but I disliked the mattes in his Ethereal palette

Haha it's one of my kitchen steak knives 😂😂 They are pointy but not sharp where they would cut me if I touched them lol
