Thanks for the video. I was hoping replacing the screen on my Dell Venue 8 Pro 8" was similar. It was easy to disassemble but to remove the crack digitizer was very difficult as the digitizer is glued to the surface of the LCD. I was not able to simply pop it out like yours.
Sorry about the delay, and yes a hair dryer will soften the tape on the digitizer however it will take a bit more time due to the difference in heat out put, but be cautious and not over expose it to the heat.
Followed instructions all went well, however, like your video nothing on screen. Can see screen goes on when power button pushed , any advise on troubleshooting?

It's a good video for showing the insides of the tablet, but you don't actually show how to do anything such as removing the case and using the heat gun safely so you can't call this "instructional". Sorry, but I give it a D-

Can you tell me what size the screws are? I can't seem to find a mini screw driver that fits!

got to be the worst repair video I've ever seen. actually do the repair during the video so people can see how its actually done.
