I remember as a kid trying to land a kickflip for years then I finally landed it on grass and felt on top of the world 🤣 I'm still trash at skating tho lol
@@NinersAllDamnDay408hahahahahahahahahahs oh my fucking god core memory unlocked. Ive landed one kick flip ever… in the grass… and we were at the lake for the Fourth of July and all my family happened to see it and everybody was so hype. Never landed another one 😂.
I prefer to not flick it to the side like that bc if u doo it wrong sometimes (what probably happens to everyone at first) u can get the board in... U know where so line up your foot like he said and flick the front foot like you do a ollie its way easier saver and you still can have kids
Backfoot is your worst nightmare when doing this trick, just a tip if you land front foot everytime its either bad shoulder placement or no commitment. Roll slowly and purely focus on the back foot itll keep your shoulders straight and somehow for me i land them back to back now
Huh?? It’s the opposite for me, I’m slipping out of more which is a good sign but I usually only get my back foot on there and I have to jump higher to commit my front foot
If you still do not know how heel rn lemme give you a tip that helped me today as soon as you pop the board flick as soon as you can you dont need to drag just flick immediately
I've been trying this for like 3 years...I can get the flip perfectly its just the back foot won't commit to landing back on straight away... Apparently I'm not jumping high enough 🤷♂️
Height is not the problem of the jump, but rather the way in which you jump. First with your front foot then your back foot follows and you jump straight up. It's basically like a little hop where you tuck your legs in at the top.
Since none of us have a “red line” on our skateboards, you want to roll your foot inwards and drag it just like he mentioned. From there you are going to use the side of your foot/shoe to flick exactly where the toe side wheel is. (That’s the sweet spot) If you look at where the red line is located it’s exactly in that spot. If you flick that spot it will level out the board and will get you a nice clean heelie. I usually ride trucks a tad wider than my board (8.6” deck with 9” trucks) so I’m usually able to see my wheels when I look down. If you ride trucks the same width or smaller just make a mark or remember where your toe side wheel is. Hope this helps.
How I learned back in the day was to practice while hanging on to a fence. Once you learn to flip it in one blended motion with your Ollie and land it, let go of the fence and try for real.
The heelflip looks so easy with your hands in your pockets. I just throw my arms around wildly and sometimes only land with my back foot :( I've been actively skateboarding since last summer and the heelflip is much easier for me than a kickflip. Does anyone have any tips for landing with both feet?
First trick i learned after the obvious ollie. Then pop shove its and kickflips. Varial flips, hardflip, tre flip, 540 flip, big spins, big flips, bigger flips, casper flips….
But with toes hanging a little off the edge? If so me too it was weird I could not do them with my front foot closer to the front bolts at first, when I put my foot back towards the middle it worked and then when i went back to having my front foot closer to the bolts i could do it. i think it made my muscle memory/timing click
Okay wait so do you actually only have to pop the front of the board up and keep the back on the floor or do you actually have to do an Ollie? Cos I’m learning rn but idk 😂
Genuine question, what makes a person a poser, I try very hard to get good at skate boarding and I never publish any content of me skateboarding unless it is a new trick, I started to wear a beanie so that my hair doesn’t fly around when street skating and wear baggy clothes for comfort and mobility, and also I love how it looks, does that make me a poser?
The skateboarding community is genuinely disgusting a lot of the time. They are beauty queens, very jealous people, and a lot of them are stuck in a high school mentality. I can’t imagine any of my adult friends calling someone else a poser, you’re supposed to be well over that shit by the time you’re out of high school. Literally who the fuck cares? I’ve been skating for almost 20 years and I’m telling you, the community is toxic as fuck thanks to guys like this. Who call beginners posers and scare them off. It’s pathetic
I’m not comfortable with my feet going to the side while I do an Ollie I’ve only been trying for two days lmao I’m not rushing it or anything but it’s still uncomfortable and I have t hit my first one yet any tips??
Gotta catch it with your back foot, a good thing that helps is just doing the flip with your front foot and keeping your back foot on the ground, just to get a feel for the rotation and the timing. And also to help learn to pop the heel more so the board stays closer to your feet.
me who can’t even Ollie: hmm interesting
Lmao same😭
Same
same 💀

Same bro but you will get it soon I have a good feeling just keep up the good work 👍
“beginners and posers listen up”

Learning how to heelflip so I can do I when someone yells kickflip
Landed my first kickflip yesterday, when I get consistent heels are next for sure
Congrats!

I did my first inward geel today
That first heelflip was insane, rotation was literaly stoped while sk8 still moving up, so satisfying,

Idk why but for my heelflip i just put me feet like the same way for a kickflig and a ollie
The fit though😍
Thank for the flick motion
you make this look so easy
Bro I'm almost died
Thank you for teaching me
This was the best tutorial ever. Learned and landed first time trying.
Cap
I always just kick straight forward with my front foot, sometimes i can even bust a double like that, and it adds lots of steeze
bro i learned a heel flip in my first 6 days of trying them it was so fucking lucky but a good start
Thank you my skate brother
Bro iv been trying for so long
damn that's a good heel
Basic trick… yeah right! Skated for 6 years and still learning these lmao
Damn bro what size deck is that

THX I DO IT
The shirt reminds me of the shirt with the minecraft mobs on it that everyone wore in elementary school
I’ll do this method
Bro before i saw this video i couldnt get my board to even flip but on the first try i got it all the way around
I just popsicled so bad bro
Today I was trying to do heelflip, and I almost got close
For I find this easier than a kickflip. The orst thing about heel flips is when the nos flick up. If yk yk
First trick i learned after the obvious ollie. Then pop shove its and kickflips. Varial flips, hardflip, tre flip, 540 flip, big spins, big flips, bigger flips, casper flips….
I learned how to do em with the front foot in the middle of the board and kicking it like a kick flip but I do a heel flip
But with toes hanging a little off the edge? Dude you should get the gobstoper shoes for skaters more you damage or scrape the more coler pop out recommended
How do u balance easier with both feet thr same way
i flick with my toes inside the board. if the toes sticking out the board doesn’t work for you, you can also try with the toes in:)
If some of y’all having trouble finding the heel flick….try using ur toes instead it tricks ur brain to activate ur heel.
I already messed up the first step. I flick this trick with my toe😳🤣
i'm gonna test this bro
Bro, send a link for them shoes, what are they called?
There called Nike blazers

😝 thanks lil brutha.. #onpoint
Noice tutorial
I can't get my back foot on the board, allways land slightly behind the tail. So close
I have been trying really hard and just can’t land on the board.. do y’all got some tips?
It's funny how the best one in which you look in perfect balance is the first one when you have hands in your pockets
me who cant even go straight with a skateboard fully: alright, so fiiirst
IT AINT THE ONE OF THE MOST BASIC TRICKS BRO!!!
IK BRO IM JUST GOT MY OLLIE DONE AND IM STUCK ON SHUV IT
It's more basic than Lazer flip and impossible
Wow
Iam a skater and please could you do a video how to power slide
Pls ollie tutorial
I still can't land them after 4 years of skating I mean I landed one but having the balance to land back on the board has always been my downfall
what are the pants bro they fire 💯💯
ONGG
Okay wait so do you actually only have to pop the front of the board up and keep the back on the floor or do you actually have to do an Ollie? Cos I’m learning rn but idk 😂
You have to learn the Ollie to do any flip tricks, I would practice the shuv it and then the pop shuv before learning a kick flip or heelflip
@@yeetteet3739 thank you I’m learning those currently
yo ur heel flips are so steezy

Nah bruh, the only thing that makes you a poser is doing it cuz it’s trendy or cool, if u genuinely like skating, ur a skater

flick your ankle don't kick your leg, that helps. also helps to pop in the opposite direction your rolling
I will try🙏🙏🙏

Can you tell ys from where you buy baggy pants and shirt ¿?
Can u do the stunts u can do on normal skateboard on a cruise board ?
For me the problem is landing, the board always rotates or goes from my body
Gotta catch it with your back foot, a good thing that helps is just doing the flip with your front foot and keeping your back foot on the ground, just to get a feel for the rotation and the timing. And also to help learn to pop the heel more so the board stays closer to your feet.
Doing Ollie’s in between, and REALLY popping them also seems to help , at least in my experience with both kickflips and heelflips.
I don't want to be bad but why do you song like Walter junior
Johnny is him
Whats the diffrence between a kickflip and a heelflip?
Bro I popsicle errytime I try
Me too bruh think we gotta treat it more like an Ollie and level it out while flicking
@@SonniTheDog that's exactly y
Yeah biggest thing to not rocket flip/popsicle is to think about flicking out instead of up
