I've had all sorts of issues getting my Edge to connect in spots that I really need it to. Otherwise when it connects it works great. Side note - LOVE your content. Glad you're back
Hate to hear about your connection problems. Make sure you update the app. Might help ya. I haven’t had any issues other than one camera I put out the other day that isn’t connecting. Gna check on it tomorrow. Priciate ya watching & supporting the channel man🤝

Just ordered a moultrie to test out, I’ve got 3 Tactacam I’ve had in the woods year round the past 3 years with no issues and one that’s been out the past year with no issues. I’m not sure if you’ve tried out the Amazon basics industrial batteries, but they are awesome. I’ve ran them in all of mine the past two years with no leakage or issues. My most active camera has over 4,000 pics on the new batteries I just put in and it’s still got 70% battery life. Being able to get 300 batteries for $60 is hard to beat!

look at batteries testing videos with those batteries before you buy. project farm has a good one. @@arkedin2759

it’s been a great truck! I take care of it. This one has 280k on it but you would never guess it. Hoping it goes to 1 million miles.
Man I love these camera mine have went thru 2 blizzards and negative-30 degree temps. Had me a little nervous cause was way past minimum operating temps but there still out here in Iowa
i love mine , it pics up on any cell carrier so you will all ways be able to conect

I have four of the regular edges. My only complaint is that one camera in particular doesn't have a good range. It is basically good for setting over a scrape and that's it. Battery life has been tremendous. I just buy rayovac batteries in the last from September through January.

I'm sure not running video and only pics the batterys should last longer shouldnt they? I just bought 2 of these cameras waiting on them to arrive. Also can you hook a solar panel to this camera with rechargeable batteries?
They should last forever and a day on just picture mode. Mine have been lasting a long long time on video mode.
The best selling lithiums on Amazon are cheaper than both and last just as long. Utecs are in all my cameras, and feeders, and flashlights.

I've been running a few Moultrie Edge cell cams for a couple months now, and honestly, I'm really unimpressed. I like how easy they are to use, and the mobile app is extremely user friendly. That being said, they take terrible pics. The quality of the images is so bad, I usually can't even tell what exactly is in the picture. Then I have to put in a request for a hi-rez image just to see if I'm looking at a doe or a buck, and once the request is made, I have to wait all day before getting the hi-rez image. All 3 of my cams are the same, terrible picture quality. The Hi-rez images are good, but why the heck do I have to request hi-rez for every pic taken? Not to mention I had one camera that didn't work out of the box. That was disheartening. So the cons far outweigh the pros. Not impressed!
Were you thinking of Spartan?
Any of the higher end cameras. I don’t get it. I’ve heard folks say that were missing so many deer with the edge as opposed to the reconyx. I’m not buying it.
Hey been watching u for about a year is there anyway I can get in contact with you via social media or email I rlly need advice on this piece of public in flordia I have 2 bucks in the 120s pretty consistent but pretty sure they are moved into the huge swamp wanted to send u some pics of the area from onx and see what you think

Edge is trash ...trigger speed is slower than dail up internet
I’m running almost 24 of them. That has not been my experience at all. Great trigger speed, great battery life for $100 bucks. I love them. If they sucked ide say so and I dang sure wouldn’t be using them.
@@closeproximity-J.K.B. a agree on the battery life but the trigger speed is a serious issue and I'm not the only one who thinks so
@@looper8305that hasn’t been my experience. Hate that you have had problems. I’ll share clips of my experiences with the trigger speed. I’ve have just a few cameras that were missing a few deer but for the most part most all of mine are triggering running deer. Even center frame at that.
