Hey bro, I am from New Zealand and have recently purchased a 2011 MPS. I fell in love with your channel and have watched all your content and noticed some of it was dating back years ago. Its cool to see a semi recent post from yall.... to get an update and I just want to wish you well, in what ever endeavors you take upon.
Not to throw hate but that’s mainly why I’ve always taken anything you say with a grain of salt. Destroying Miata, wrx, Z, or other non-rare cars body panels doesn’t bother me much. The fact that under 12k of these cars were produced and 5500 of them imported into the states makes these hoods and other panels rare. Poor planning and the “I didn’t really care” attitude separates you from more professional car RUclipsrs. I’ve done stupid things too but I’ve learned from them. I hope you do too. Love your speed, looking forward to go big turbo this summer.
Hey steven, i’m also essentially in the same situation you were i do all the work on my cars myself which is rough at 17. i’m currently built motor and am changing up my turbo setup and going with an ebay log top mount, was curious how the coolant lines to the turbo work? thank you!
I’m not sure for the coolant lines. I have a precision turbo so it only had oil lines. Coolant lines might have to be custom. If you can try to trade for a Pte turbo. But good job on building your car. It’s not always easy but it’s worth it
@@StevenDevey haha yeah man i’ve actually used your videos as guides for most of my stuff, i ended up going with an oil only turbo too so i’m just going to bypass the turbo and connect the two lines, huge fan by the way man!!

So my car shot either oil or gas from my intake filter I’m wondering what it could be everything is installed correctly
The turbo often leaks oil if you have a stock turbo I don’t know why it would “shoot” out but the oil probably came from the turbo
@@StevenDevey so do i need to replace it I was all over the inside inlets
@@ByCrail I would assume so. Just check how much the propeller moves, if it has side to side movement it needs to be replaced
