- the call button is in a very awkward position. The hotel security told me that it happens all the time. Facebook: / dieselducy

1:02 hahahahahaha, the phone pressed lol
yep
They really should put plastic flaps over the alarm and call buttons to prevent accidental pressing of those buttons.
Make it a law that any emergency feature in the elevator requires a phone box/cover to prevent accidental pressing of the alarm and phone
I agree
1:02 phone fail 😂😂😂
Yep lol
@@DieselDucyit was funny 😆
LOL, that's a "phoney" place for the phone call button
1:04 phone ringing 😂😂😂
Yep!
yep!
@@DieselDucy that was so funny. I cannot stop laughing 🤣😂😂
Well, at least it didn't call 911. On my last day of high school, I went into the elevator at school which is supposed to be only for handicapped people and activated the phone thinking that it would go to the front office like it does at the hospital (I was stuck in the hospital elevator once), and there was a dial tone and then the tones of 9-9-1-1. Then they answered "911, what is the nature of your emergency" and I just about died. Told them I hit the call button in an elevator by accident.
I did this on accident at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The button placement was backwards on that elevator, as it was here. (door close is usually above call button, not below it)
I've hit the alarm button accidentally in a hotel. On my way out and halfway across the street I heard two others make the same mistake.
Very fancy! Have you been in the elevators in the Willis Tower in Chicago? Painted Gold, flat screen tv! You can get from the basement to the 103rd floor in less then a minute!
LL2/B2 to 103 in 60 seconds.
Awesome elevators
Thanks!
lol, it sounded like the lift farted when you pressed the button.
1:01 That A Weird Sound Phone.
@midgiemelendez In most elevators, the call button is not that close to the regular operating devices. Open and close buttons are something people generally press in haste, and in most elevators, they're directly below the floor buttons. Someone pressing door close is likely in a hurry, and someone pressing door open may have seen someone running for the elevator, so when those buttons aren't aranged as they usually are, some people screw up
23 floors? That is a very tall building!
It was
@@DieselDucy I once stayed at a hotel that was 23 floors tall and I stayed on the 15th floor.
I push the alarm button a lot just to get reactions. Once however it activated the phone as well.
LOL, "yeah, i'd like to order a peperoni Pizza"
glad at my work the TELEPHONE is in a box, (otis style) and the bell gets pressed by mistake by little kids all the time..
Nice music in the lobby :)
flarn2006, Andrew probably needed to cut-off the part from after pressing the phone, probably because something that could not be on camera woul have happened later.
In Sweden most phonebuttons hold in for 10 seconds before it call a larm-central...
I was at a museum one time and accidentally pressed the alarm (not the intercom, but the one that rings the bell) when I meant to press OPEN to hold the door for someone. Later on that day, in the same museum, I rode the same elevator and someone else pressed the call button by mistake! Whatever happened to the phones that were behind hinged covers???
No idea
That is a terrible Emergency and door control setup!
Well the blame kind of goes out to the people who installed the elevator because they put the phone button in a very bad spot
in uk you gota hold it for 3 secsm then for it to tell you please hang up and try sgen you have dialled a wrong number.
nice hotel
That is a HORRIBLE placement of the phone.
It was.
It may be in an awkward postion, but that is what we have eyes for, eh?
OOOP, almost pressed the phone!
*Inaudible transformer language*
O.O
I did press the phone!
What hotel is that??
Renaissance hotel Nashville
@@DieselDucyI love it bro
When 22408aaron said that HE? pressed it! I did!
What do you mean it happens all the time.
People hit the button by mistake.
Why Didn’t You Go To 25/24.
i did that once i pressed every button but i accedentally pressed the call button i rna out and never came back untill 1 year later
Please hang up. There appears to be a receiver off the hook. Please try your call again later. Thank you! This is a recording.

I have ridden that very same elevator, also just for fun! I did not press the phone though!
Epic??? Seems to me someone is trying to make money off of a minor error with an exaggerated title. This pretty much borders on a video that could be flagged as spam.
@perfectlydark007 uh a lot of people do, but frankly, you should be the one who crashes to the bottom cuz you make fun of them
The Same thing happened to me when we were at St. Marys Hospital parking garadge, but nothing happened.
I pressed the phone by accident on the elevator at promenade north
I remember that but surprisingly it didn't do anything. The phone must have been broken.
how on earth does this have 20k views? lol. "guy gets on elevator".
Why did you stop?
uhh oh lol at least they respnded fast to your call
@ElevatorsandAlarms How the heck is that supposed to be..?
1:03 😂😂😂😂
Yep!
@@DieselDucy it was so hilarious 😂
my grandpa hit the fire arlim by mistake and he though the sound was from out side no 50 seconds later the fire department was there lol he was shocked to find out he cuased it they reviewed security and iut was a acient some one switch labels lol!

That was in Houston wasn't it. I think I see the general hospital
It was in Nashville,TN
This isn't epic fail, this is mediocre fail. The only epic fail here is the fail to be epic.

What is with you and elevators?
It's just a hobby, that's all. There's a whole community of people on RUclips who do it.
That's a fast lift!
Its even faster in his 2000 video of this elevator
that's bad I accidently did that also
Same thing happened to me except it was the alarm button. The manager got pissed
He had no right to be
Why not 24 or 25?

I did that before on westinghouse
