Jamaica was country #84/197🌍
Thank you for watching!🙏😍
So refreshing to see tourists in Kingston and not just Mobay, Ocho Rios, etc. love it!

I honestly didn’t know that seeing Jamaica from someone else’s point of view would be so interesting to watch
Same!
listen to this bro, am from Jamaica and I would love to tell you that over 400,000 to 500,000 citizens in this country wants that slave statue to be romeve alongside other slave statues like that, whether they fight for there freedom or not I rather have the first jamaican millionaire up as a statue over a slave and don't ask me why soon you'll findout for yourself
Everything dem call cheap we ball and say it dear lol.
Yes I thought it was only me
As a Jamaican who recently moved abroad seeing you travel through all the parts of Kingston I know so well was such a fun thing to watch! Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Just curious why you haven't been back, my father left Jamaica when he was 11, and sadly he never returned...he had many brothers there.
@@IWITNESS7 I have visited. But I am studying abroad now however very few opportunities in my field exist in JM so I will go where the job lies and still help out my JM peeps where I can.

I was home a few weeks ago but I only drove through Kingston... I'm always so happy and full of life at home.
Calling Jamaican patties, pies. That had me laughing all day.
That was before we learned😂
@@OskarandDan Thanks you for supporting team Jamaica. Also the discretion exercised in the way you roll.
Or beans and rice,!
@@jahmallajaima Some Caribbean countries call it rice and beans. I think Belize though not an Island is one. Half of my family lives in Belize or almost. I should know this. LOL I will ask my niece.
@@peterbradshaw8018 Are you Jamaican!? Are you gonna ask your niece if they call it rice and beans in Belize or if they call it rice and peas in JA? Cause i know that’s what it’s called in JA.
Very refreshing to see tourists in Kingston. Kingston as so much to offer to tourists
I agree Pete ! 👍🏾 And if they had had the time they could explore so much more in and around Kingston and port royal .
you mean so much food to offer? There's a reason mobay is the tourist capital of the caribbean for so long. kingston is more about business (hence why so many restaurants).
Are you from Jamaica? Kingston is the business capital nothing to offer there but food. Ochi, Mobay, Negril, Portland, Falmouth those have things to offer tourist.

There are some many things that you guys did in this vlog that made me smile. A few are:
1. Showing local signs
2. Enjoying the statue are Emancipation Park
3. Support local vendors not jus established businesses
4. Persisted in going to the Bob Marley Museum our of respect for the icon.
5. Drove here
I greatly enjoyed the vlog.
See you around the world indeed🙌🏿💐
Yes, these were great! I'm glad you visited my Kingston. 🇯🇲😊
The fact that the droooove! Impressed. I’m still traumatised driving here as a local
As a Jamaican I'm a little jealous that you've visited the Emancipation Park and the Bob Marley Museum and haven't. ( I left Jamaica 25 years ago).
Hope you had a great time in my homeland.
Same here I haven’t been back since 1987!!!
Great job leaving

“Driving is a bit of stressful experience sometimes” is being very courteous. Driving in Jamaica is horrible man. Hush lol
😂😂
Jus beep tha horn non stop an yu good 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He hasn't seen shit yet, them race tracks are something
Honestly, driving in Jamaica is VERY stressful, and a few of the drivers tend to ignore street signs and traffic warnings/instructions. However, the worst places I've ever driven are NYC and South Florida. If you drive in NYC, you should be able to drive anywhere with ease.
@@jamdawgutube true if i drive in NY C. U Can drive anywhere. Lernt to drive in NYC . I went ja and no problem for me. Now in Germany people are more discipline so eazy cheezy
Hahaha! i like this video. As a Jamaican living in Kingston Jamaica, its nice to see Kingston from a tourist perspective. You guys literally walked from New Kingston to Devon House which is something I would not do, it seems like a far walk to me :). Respect! Thanks for visiting Jamaica!
Actually it is not far. New Kingston is a well contained walkable area.
I've done it...good exercise!!!
Easy walk only problem is the sun when it’s extremely hot.
ikr worse if sun a pelt lol. woulda haffi take a taxi
come on that’s an easy walk sksksk
I love Jamaica! I have stayed all over the Island. I enjoy just living ... doing my own grocery shopping etc etc. People who stay on the resorts will never know the true Jamaica and how amazing the people are.
so true!!! 👑🦁♥💚💛

Me a Jamaican who never know they we had so much vegan restaurants. I learned something new about my beautiful home Thank you ☺️
For years I took our mountains that runs along the city's border for granted , now I can't get enough of their magnificence. Beautiful!!!!
This happened to me too! I lived in another Caribbean country which was relatively flat and it was then that I realised how much I missed our mountains.
Its good to know that you enjoyed your stay in Jamaica🇯🇲
Worse country ever.
You guys making me miss my country, as a Vegan I did not realize they had so many awesome places to eat, One love.

@@avacohen1585 then why not come back to visit
@@hdkeemii8315 I do visit, the last time was 2014, but I am planning on visiting before the year is over.
@@hdkeemii8315 It's not always that simple to just come back, my husband was born/raised in Ja, came to the US for college and stayed. It gets expensive to go back and forth when you're supporting a family, might not have much vacation time from a job, and COVID issues don't make it easier. He hasn't been home since 2017 but we want to go visit in 2023, I really want him to see his dad and sister it's been way too long 😢❤️
This was awesome. Between the “pies” and the attempt at patois, I enjoyed this. It’s also good to see tourists vlogging in Kingston. 🇯🇲 See you in Sweden one day.
Never heard of you guys before this vlog, but I really enjoyed this vlog so much I had to subscribe to you guys.
Ya’ll are too funny 😂!!

Me too!
I'm a Jamaican who lives in Jamaica and tbh with you, those people who just walk around trying to sell you things even after you say no , annoy me when I walk pass and see tourists being harassed by them.
Happens in many many other countries as well my friend .. Well travelled persons should be used to it . It's not harassment . It's just a way of life . I didn't think I was being harassed when I visited Thailand , Egypt , China , South Africa and other countries . Its not ideal but we don't have to be ashamed of it . It's really not that bad in my opinion .. well in comparison to some places I've been to . So Don't worry about it ☺️
It happens everywhere even in Italy when I was there.
True. It happens in a lot of places. It is way more intrusive in some Central American countries. But usually the folk are cool. Just hustling. That’s life.

The tree colors brings so much life to the island and the sun on it “chef kiss”😭😭😭, Miss there so bad🥺❤️❤️
I love that you guys were able to showcase Kingston. I am happy that the stay was enjoyable and pleasant!
I am glad you visited my country & see that it’s not homophobic as many people go around spreading lies. I wish I could accompany you guys back to 🇯🇲 this year. To rent a car it’s best that you do it at the airport.
It is homophobic and I hope it stays that way

seeing this brings back a lot of nostalgia after not being home for over 4 years. Loved seeing it through your eyes.
Glad you enjoyed my country guys!
I live in Jamaica all my life and never been to the Bob Marley museum so you guys are better than me lol.
Great video - thanks! I lived one summer, years ago (in 1990!) in Port Royal - across the harbour from Kingston (as a graduate student doing a nautical archaeology field school). So loved seeing sites from my visit so long ago. Had a similar experience to yours at the Bob Marley House. At that time there was a rather odd wax figure of Marley in the recording studio - which I expect is gone now…it wasn’t in great shape then!
Have fun guys. I'm very happy you came and WELCOME.🤗🤗
Iam grateful that they visited our wonderful and country JAMAICA.I hope you guys will come back again soon

My beautiful JAMAICA happy you guys are fuljoying it
Love your vlogs, also please be careful with the taxis on the road, they are wild out here😂. The places you went to eat initially aren’t popular so the food wasn’t best we have to offer. Weather has also been very rainy recently. Regardless welcome to Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 Also for Ocho Rios, you can call it Ochi
Family yeah fi real sis. Can you give me a shout subscribe my channel pls god thanksgiving and god bless you family.
Our ital dishes are just as delicious as other foods.
Where they went to eat arent popular? Ital food is good and most of those smaller restaurant are better tasting than those so called popular restaurants
You donta have to focus on the negative. You do not hear New Yorkers apologising for the rats and garbage nor the homless peopke on the trains.
You both did a fantastic job, enjoyed this video, positive vibes non stop. Glad you came to and enjoyed Ocho Rios.
Omg I loved watching this. I’m born and raised Jamaican until I was 19 and I go home 1-2 times per year. Kingston is a VIBE! Tourists rarely go there so to see this is amazing. I also used to be a tour guide for 2yrs age 17-19 and loved it! Love Bob museum too! So much more to Jamaican than Ochi, Negril and Mobay! New sub here!

It's nice that even though you personally wouldn't recommend a restaurant you still mention them. That's very kind. ☺️

Love this! I never knew you could actually tour Devon house. Usually just go there for ice cream & pastries. Best in the world!
Even i live here and didn't know there are so many vegan restaurants in New Kingston.... Glad you enjoyed the trip. feeling like a proud Jamaican.
Lol “The country you’ve heard about your whole life” ❤❤❤🇯🇲
Nice! You both should definitely go to Negril next time. Beautiful and scenic. But the bravery you both have for walking about so casually in Kingston LOL. No worries, New Kingston isn't that bad but I wouldn't recommend just vlogging anywhere in Kingston.
Kingston is relatively safe it's just the thieves you should watch out.
Im glad that yall love my country

I am so happy watching this video, I'm glad you enjoyed my country. You guys are hilarious! SUBCRIBED!!

Last night I had a dream I was in Jamaica! The water and waves were so beautiful. There were plenty of people! Before I could enter the water I woke up from my sleep bc I had to pee so bad. I was so pissed. It was sooo pretty 😩
This so cool to see tourists in jamaica like this
I’m Malaysian🥳I’m so happy you guys mention my🇲🇾.
Oh you took mi home!! One thing I miss is the ease of life. Here in Tokyo it's so fast space.
Fun to watch as I am a frequent traveler to montego bay. ( love the Hyatt). I didnt know kingston was so far away and while it looks beautiful I hear it is dangerous so never thought to venture there. Vegan paradise
Not all parts are dangerous. You can avoid the bad areas and the tourist guides will know the great spots to take you. Kingston is the capital of Jamaica so you can expect to have plenty of offerings with the high class members of society.
