i grew up in bridgwater and feel so much joy whenever i visit. i completely understand your gut feeling of danger, because it's definitely dropped off over the years as somerset naturally has with increasing costs of all facets. like everywhere else in the county, it used to be so much more lively even 15 years ago, but things are just left to rot and shops are constantly swapping out. not quite the charm it had when i was young, but i can still sense it whenever i'm there and it does put my mind at ease

Thanks for your insight, that's nice to hear. This is still the only time that I have walked around Bridgwater, might be time for another visit. Thanks for watching :)

Greenery ? You missed Blake Gardens and Cranleigh Gardens. Not too far from where you were. Also alot of Vloggers (?) Miss out the history of Bridgwater.
The abolition of slavery started here. Last battle of the Civil War at Sedgemoor, watched from the tower of St Mary's Church. The Bloody Asizes ... Robert Blake was an inspiration to Nelson as a Seaman. (Nelson famous, Blake, not quite so). 😊

Well you did miss out a part of Bridgy, the newer parts are more on the outskirts of the town.

Okay, may have to go back. Where would you recommend?

@@journeytoanotherworld I wouldn't exactly recommend, but if you carried on past the cinema to the right you come to the new cinema and further on you would eventually come the a larger shopping area with sainsburys etc, it's a bit away from the town centre so usually missed. it's all a bit spread out LOL

Is Bridgwater a bit rough? It was in the '80s and '90s.

It seemed a bit that way like I said in the video. Of course this was only a one time visit so it was just my first impressions.
