Childhood's echo, soft and sweet;
Lost, yet smiles remain.

It only took me 8 years to get this song out of my head, so thanks for that.
Here's to another 8 years!
@@Nestalgicamake sure to have another remix ready in 8 years
Its dangerous to rock alone.. take this master guitar to rock on!
Thanks! Is it left-handed though?
@Nestalgica if you use the magic mirror it is! 🤣
Nothing beat nintendo-metal. Great work my mäaun!
Thänks man!
That quiet moment on the acoustic guitar made an already fantastic version even better, what a stylish cover... Loving the editing too btw :P
totally agree.. it just adds another depth, similar to adding croutons or crackers to an already great salad.. OK terrible anology but I think I made my point 😅
Thanks dude!
Koooooloooooo limpahhhhhhh!!!
holy shit it's an incredible work of art I never thought I'd live to see Zelda's theme played so perfectly damn it's really good man
This song is amazing and truly is enhanced by your guitar skills, made my day.
This is an all time favorite!
This theme was always on my mind as a kid and I always wanted to learn it on the recorder. I made my own rock cover of this one years ago and it was such a dream come true. Your version rocks and changes the melody a bit that makes it more creative but it's still true to the original one. The acoustic break was a nice touch too, great job!
dude i just want to say you really outdid yourself with this one :D
Thanks dude! 🙏
Tight Tight !
Unexpected. But welcome and awesome.
Another belter! Well done, love it!
This is sooooo good! Great cover dude!
Legendary cover!

Ah yes, the main tune, doo doo doo-doo doo doo-doo doo doo doo doo-doo doo doo doo doo. Classic.
Toujours de l'excellent boulot : bravo ! Et continue… 😉
Hey! Do you think you could cover the hot wheels beat that soundtrack? Mainly the main theme?
does anyone know which song this melody at 2:04 comes from? it's so familiar but i can't remember the name of the song.
I don't like it. A major problem I see with metal covers of these kinds of songs is that it just sounds completely off because you're going from the orchestral world into the metal worlds which have completely different timbres, rhythms, and overall intensity and brutality. "Light and cheery" and intense just don't mix well. The Weapons Factory - Super Mario RPG is already basically industrial metal, and yet the one cover I've seen of it (GaMetal - Super Mario RPG Medley: Weapons Factory Theme Extended) has the same issue: keeping the original unmodified melody and rhythm leaves the longer notes feeling oddly lacking. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm pretty sure it's the clashing of opposite intensities: original melody is upbeat and lacking intensity; cover mixes that with the intensity of metal. It's just awkward.
What I believe these covers really need is a true transformation. Just as an idea, what if you set the Lost Woods into a minor key and made it absolutely terrifying (it's the Lost Woods after all, so maybe play on the horror of stalchildren), then made things properly metal out of the rhythm instead of just having a backing track and instrument switch? You could also do something that keeps the major key but is more like a lofi metal with a softer sort of lullaby feel to it and tone down on the intensity because, again, the intensity clashes with the original melody which is far less intense. (Nik Nocturnal tried to make "phonk metal" but I've already analyzed phonk as being synth rock, and his "phonk metal" just sounds like, idk, metalcore with phonk rap behind it. Would need to make a completely new distortion timbre to make "synth metal", presumably by using distortion pedals over synth and finding something good out of that. I mention it because the "lofi metal" I mention could probably take inspiration from this timbrally.)
_These_ are the sort of covers I think would sound great. I would try doing it myself, but production software in general is overly complicated, and I don't have time to get into a massive learning curve. I could direct someone though.
Also, breakdowns wen
What a piece of art! Thanks a lot @nestalgica
My pleasure, glad you liked it!
