Yes, I always think that when I listen to this song. The guitar is beautiful, the drums are insanely good, the voice is absolutely spot on. But the bass comes with such a strong statement, such reason, it's just the perfect argument for the discussion. Absolute genius John Paul Jones.
It's really interesting seeing someone hear these songs for the first time. I'm so familiar with the songs I know what to expect but seeing the look of amazement at certain parts really makes me appreciate the music all over again.

Led zeppelin they are out of this world their talent is unmatched by any other rock and roll groups they dont come close to led zeppelin best band ever and ever will be case dismissed
This is such a great and underappreciated song from the Led Zep discography. Every member of the band is on point, but John Paul Jones shines the most, with his badass bass work.
Great song. The US blues had a big influence on them especially in earlier albums. Lyrics in this song came from a Robert Johnston song (ie squeeze my lemon til the juice run down my leg).
I was in high school when this album came out , I had it on 8 track in my car here in “ THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS “ . I was in the 10 grade probably I’m 64 now lol, I was very lucky to see LED Zeppelin twice live . Love you channel. TEXAS. 🇺🇸⚓️😎
The other day you said you wanted suggestions on some juicy but not to freaky stuff to comment on, one of my favorites is “Pearl Necklace ZZTOP “, so take that haha.🇺🇸⚓️

I just wrote her, that it is so much fun to me, watching a "youngster" listening to Led Zeppelin. Like they've become almost a label, these days. But noone actually knows their songs, anymore. This song is a great example, about WHAT made them this huge. I think you nailed it, when pointing out how this song covers the spectrum from slow played blues onto hard rock. All in one song. Quite a masterpiece. They way they let it "slide" from one to the other. This, beeing said, you might wanna listen to: "Them crooked vultures": "Elephants". That is John Paul Jones on bg, with Dave Grohl on drums and Josh Homme singing and playing the guitar. Or, and also: "the living tree" by "Never the bride": Nikki Lamborn and Catherine Feeny. It´s always nice to see young people discover the old rock classics like Led Zeppelin..and others of that time But image an Elvis impersonator is meeting a reaggae band and they decide to play Led Zeppelin songs together...what do you think that would sound like? I´ll tell you "Simply hilarious!" `They call themselve "Dread Zeppelin" and Robert Plant the lead singer of Led Zeppelin is a huge fan. Just give them once a try and choose a for you familiar Led Zeppelin song performed by "Dread Zeppelin" and have fun while listening...that would be a hilarious reaction video for sure.
Good reaction. You are a talented editor too! I think "Black Dog", "When the Levee Breaks", and "Trampled Under Foot" (for a little funk) next. Then I would try their folk/country type songs, "Bron - Y - Aur Stomp" and "Gallows Pole". Then "The Battle of Evermore" for something completely different, then "Achilles Last Stand" for a more heavy-metal type of track. They could do it all!
Nice reaction. Really glad I found your channel tonight! LZ is my favorite band of all time. Try out Dazed and Confused. My 2nd fave LZ song (you already did my #1 Whole Lotta Love).
Hello Georgia, nice to know your real name. I recently subscribed. Love your reactions to music I have loved & played for many years / decades....You can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin. Enjoy discovering so much more by them. Maybe get to watch the dvd "The Song Remains The Same" - a movie about their live concert at Madison Square Gardens in the 70's. A whole Lotta Love at that concert is spectacular when Jimmy Page, guitarist uses the Theremin.....It looks like a single extended aerial - which is basically what it is. Lol ....Put your hand close to it & it will give a pitched feedback depending how close or where you move your hand....Put it through an echo & ......Woooowoooo ...wooowooo ! A whole lotta weird sounds.
I know you've reacted to a few tracks. I tried to leave those off this list but, there's too many Zeppelin songs to list. When you finish these come back for another list. Kashmir, No Quarter, In The Light, Boogie With Stu, Ten Years Gone, Ramble On, The Rain Song, Over The Hills And Far Away, The Song Remains The Same, Dyer Maker, The Crunge, The Ocean, Dancing Days, Going to California, Communication Breakdown, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, Bring It On Home, Down by the Seaside, Fool in the Rain, Four Sticks, Gallows Pole, Going to California. Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman), Misty Mountain Hop, Tangerine, Your Time Is Gonna Come etc, etc, etc........
I could tell you were digging it as I was watching your face. hoping that you would feel the kinds of things that we (the 65 and older group) have been feeling for 50 years with Led Zeppelin. That would prove for us that this music is not only timeless but it is relatable to a new group of listeners. But, I’m pretty sure you only played this for the fans. But, I think you need time to dissect what you grooved on here. What I am saying is the initial reaction was “yup zeppelin always great” but as I watched your face I wondered if you’ve heard other music like this? What part of it got into your head? I wish you would come back after putting in the time...living with it....and do this again. In the meantime, Play it to your friends, play it when your dancing, let it reach your soul. Then react. Please?
Dazed and Confused, and The Song Remains the Same......if you want a of mix fast and slow of power. That’s the Way it Should Be, Tangerine, and Thank You, if you want thoughtful..sweet..and sad all in one. All Zeppelin must hears....really it’s going to be an experience if you so choose, enjoy baby girl..
Howlin' Wolf officially and legally gets credits for the lyrics on his song after he won a court case in 1972 in which he successfully sued Led Zeppelin for ripping off his song called The KIlling Floor. I think Led Zeppelin are a great band, it is only unfortnate that they've been accused of plagiarism over the years. Not just for Lemon Song but for several of their songs.
Led Zeppelin is the best band ever IMO..But, check out a great US band, The Doors. Nobody had a sound like them. The lead singer Jim Morrison was a genius with lyrics but the booze got to him early. He would be hit or miss on stage in the later years and died at 27 (like Joplin and Hendrix). The Doors were great in show at Isle of Wight in 67 or 68. Listen to Light My Fire, LA Woman, Roadhouse Blues. Many, many more hits too
We are in need of What Is And What Should Never Be next.

Good call. Physical Graffiti is simply amazing.
Blind Willie first recorded it back in 1926 -7 . It was a gospel song . The other title of the song is Jesus make my dying bed .
Longest as well for good reason it's an amazing song
And it was recorded in ONE take!
Oh yeah, another great zep song , geez there so many .
It’s called The Lemon Song because the bass is so JUICY

Ann and Nancy Wilson were so freaked out by this song they left the concert or something like that.
Nice choice!
10 years gone Led Zeppelin!
Many, many more hits too
You should try Dazed and Confused. And wear headphones!
