    ralph fiennes was such a good actor in this, too bad academy award winner judges are too fixated on him being voldemort to be blindsided and award him an academy award. such a great actor

    Very well put together and all that, great scene changes, acting, everything but leaves me faintly with the feeling that this will provide nothing more than a minor assuagement of guilt for all those middle-class westerners with angst in their pants.

    • @allhotelmap
      @allhotelmap 8 лет назад

      +mark carey well if we westerners have guilts only watching a 2 hours movie then we should be ashamed too. But we have lost both in the name of overconsumption

    • @markcarey8426
      @markcarey8426 8 лет назад +1

      I agree we've gone mad about consumerism. Consumerism is like the pain-relief we take to overcome the guilt about how we became such big consumers in the first place.

    I watched this trailer and all I got from it is: there is a conspiracy and the protagonist somehow gets very deep in it. That's it. I too hate trailers that give too much away but believe me this trailer doesn't. I read a bit about the synopsis on wikipedia and all I know is that the pharmaceutical companies have something to do. I know it's been 3 months since you watched this film - can you tell me if it was a good film?

    this was one of the worst movies i have ever scene. worst cinematography: why do we need shaky-cam close-ups of some random actor's cheek? Beyond aesthetics, the plot was just incomprehensible until it is summed up in the end. Is it a torrid love story? is it about these random villagers that are going to get gunned down by raiders? no....it's a B.S. stock convoluted message about corporations trying to run the world...Edge of Darkness was better :-)
