A widower is determined to get to the bottom of a potentially explosive secret involving his wife's murder, big business, and corporate corruption - Кино
I've been there. as a volunteer, in africa, working. this is all absolutely true. one of the most honest films I have ever seen, could not stop crying both times i saw it at the cnema (only film in my life I've bothered to see twice in a film theatre.
One of the world's favorite movies and I love that film, this film taught me a lot about life ...
Beautiful movie! Rachel was stunning as always, she totally deserved that Oscar! LOVE her!
Ralph was great too, he deserved an Oscar as well!
One of the best movies I've ever seen. Ralph fiennes was spectacular. Why he didnt get an oscar?. he was amazing
Oh my god. Just watched this for the first time. What a great movie. Sooooooo good. Had me tearing up multiple times. Damn good.
Just finished this film and it was a bloody good watch! Kept me interested till the very end and was shockingly forward and not sugar coated.
Wicked film
So appropriate at this time
"But I don`t have a home, Tessa was my home"
Great movie, wonderful love story and Fernando Meireles, director.
My favorite actor too...
First word- Monsanto
Second word- Gates
Third word- Coronavirus
ralph fiennes was such a good actor in this, too bad academy award winner judges are too fixated on him being voldemort to be blindsided and award him an academy award. such a great actor
Holy s*** I just learned this movie was nominated for 16 awards, 4 being Academy. I'm so watching this! And it is about conspiracy which I love so much!
Gardener is probably a metaphor for grieving
AMAZING.
Thank you.
awesome movie, with a wonderful message "Drug Companies Are All Corrupt"
i remember thinking ralph shouldve got the oscar, or at least as well as rachel he was truly amazing
Big Corporations and Corruption at the Cost of Humanity.
This is absolutely awesome!
Why the fuck Ralph was not nominated for an Oscar! He was so brilliant in this movie
The reason of why a good diplomatic became the Dark Lord
Je me souviens de cette réplique : "Rentrez chez vous, allez vous en !" "Mais je n'ai plus de chez moi, mon chez moi c'était Tessa" Waouhhhh juste magnifique !!!
OH MY GOSH IT'S VOLDEMORT
Very well put together and all that, great scene changes, acting, everything but leaves me faintly with the feeling that this will provide nothing more than a minor assuagement of guilt for all those middle-class westerners with angst in their pants.
+mark carey well if we westerners have guilts only watching a 2 hours movie then we should be ashamed too. But we have lost both in the name of overconsumption
I agree we've gone mad about consumerism. Consumerism is like the pain-relief we take to overcome the guilt about how we became such big consumers in the first place.
Love Film ❤
Amazing movie!!
Good solid performance by Fiennes.
This is not how gardening works!
Lmao.
Tru
I haven't figured out why it has this title. Can someone enlighten me?
Rachel Weisz won an oscar. i think she was spectacular and ralph fiennes also !
I have been searching for this soundtrack a lot. Knew it was from spygame, but didnt know which one. Thanks a lot... :)
This give me memories of feels. :C
They really captured the books's air of hidden menace.
Awesome movie
could anyone pls tell me the soundtrack at 0:06?
Hauntingley tragic film, the Tessa character actually reminded me of someone made it all the more hurtfull to watch
Agreed. Try the book one day - it's at least as good.
Very good film saw it as part of my leaving cert course was quite interesting I expected some dull artsy film but this was very good should look for it on DVD for to have at home
This is truth hidden in plain sight.
Yup
I've just read Eva Green was considered to play Tessa, but I'm glad she dropped out, I mean I like her and she is also an amazing actress but I think Rachel Weizs was awesome and had an amazing chemistry with Ralph Fiennes...better than Eva could have I guess
yeah me too, just yesterday actually. when the credits began i nearly flipped my ass at the name...you can't imagine my 'shock' when i realize (with a jolt) that the caring-loving-husband was the evil He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named who jagged my Harry. dammit.
awsm movie
@ArianaDumbledore29 yah! with Jeremy Renner... they're here for Bourne Legacy shooting which started yesterday at San Andres, Malate, Manila...
que legal
çà se passe Où ?
@TrixieBelaire he should have gotten an oscar for his acting in the duchess
@TrixieBelaire thanks a lot. I haven't seen onegin, I didnt even know the movie. I did see wuthering heights (one of my favourite books!!!!) and the end of an affair. Love julianne moore too!. Another great actress with lots of oscar noms but she didnt get one yet. she really deserves one too
I've always thought this fim came out in the late 90s..I don't know why. anyway it looks fantastic!!!!!
I adore this movie and adore Racheal's character....her part is not much but it impacts soo much....
Was haunted by this film for weeks after I watched it.
why?
Kris Wu's Wifey It was painful to watch, especially the aftermath of Rachel Weizs's character's untimely end, the character of Tess, actually reminded me of someone
Me also and I watched it several years ago. Lately I've been reminded of what really is behind the scenes...what is truth
The world needs to know the truth about everything! Stop the unfairs, the murderes, the economical interests!
@TrixieBelaire thats true. I mean the english patient was a brilliant movie and he was fantastic. nice talking to you
@MohcineSabi well said.
@PsychotronicWar
But Rachel Weisz got an Oscar for it so I doubt that the plot had anything to do with Fiennes' lack of recognition
haha. yeah he is a great actor, i really like him. He's like a psycho killer in that movie Red Dragon, and then an awesome spy guy in the new James Bond. That's what I call a versatile actor.
It's from The Spy Game Soundtrack - Su-Chou Prison
@alasfran28 Did you touch their lives in any way?
What's the next pill you will take?
good film very sad tho :(
Rachel is in Manila!!! :-D
stop reading and do me a favor and watch the damn thing
@GSpotTornado2000 Watch the movie. You'll get it.
Okay
I literally HAHAHA-ed out loud!
Watching this trailer seems like I just watch the whole movie
💯
How long does Rachel last in this movie I hate when they are killed in the first right minutes;€ but it looks good
@GSpotTornado2000
"one man is digging to deep" now you understand?
God sees all!
gardening is such a hard job from the movie I learned.
@dizzy365
She dies, but not while she is pregnant.
I really had no idea that the actor who plays justin, also plays voldemort...
nice movie ,but i hate the way how they make the cheating look like somthing rights in life ...
We have to know it that we really don¨t know to where from where of true and wrong for people or all of the world...story is not only someone.
Thanks and hope you be well and good time of your life.☆

فلم واقعي عما يجري بقارة افريقا ..........اعجبني
3 people are only occasional gardeners.
@RitvarLegend LMFAO! that's for me to know. I don't wanna be found with 10 bullets in me
Whats the difference between dark lord and darth vader again?
Happy 15th!
I watched this trailer and all I got from it is: there is a conspiracy and the protagonist somehow gets very deep in it. That's it. I too hate trailers that give too much away but believe me this trailer doesn't. I read a bit about the synopsis on wikipedia and all I know is that the pharmaceutical companies have something to do. I know it's been 3 months since you watched this film - can you tell me if it was a good film?
xBl00dBrothersX p
Die meisten
is it realy a comedy movie ? I dont thik that .
Aaargh ! I didn't just read that.
Voldemort, Voldemort, ooo voldie voldie voldie, Voldemort!
City of God
Omg! Voldemort has a nose!
@magicindi No Voldemort is more than sexy, he is something that is sexy beyond description :)
The Constant Dark Lord =]
thats not Liam Neeson...
@fictitiously a violative and suffering Voldemort?! Now Harry should come and laugh at him :D Great actor though
@saidezzammoury1 there was no cheating , tess only tricks the stupid one to send the report
coooooooooonstant
i clicked this link thinking it was a pot head movie, my bad
i hate trailers that give the story away. trailers should be no more than 30 seconds
I just watched her on daily show. She is beautiful but her laugh is such a turnoff. I wish I hadn't watched that.
Voldemort in Kenya
Bill hates funded?
haha to be honest i've not watched it yet ;)
We could do without the ad for the Conservative party, thanks...
liberal politics leads to dependency, welfare & horrible education!
+Shaun Riley and two parties that can't find common ground leads nowhere.
dust1131 I'd much rather be stuck in the average then lead to death by a liberal.
I just wish we were led by scientist and the space program was funded a lot more. Scientist should be our Leaders.
This has nothing to do with gardening.
I always wanted to know what the title means. The only thing I can think of is: he keeps digging, but that's not very profound!
This has more than you realize about gardening in a very deep way. It's not about planting daffodils
this is one of the worst trailers in history
this was one of the worst movies i have ever scene. worst cinematography: why do we need shaky-cam close-ups of some random actor's cheek? Beyond aesthetics, the plot was just incomprehensible until it is summed up in the end. Is it a torrid love story? is it about these random villagers that are going to get gunned down by raiders? no....it's a B.S. stock convoluted message about corporations trying to run the world...Edge of Darkness was better :-)
