Wow this movie can change your life. We take so many things for granted. Little things such as tasting, seeing, feeing, hearing, and smelling. I can never forget this movie, its moving, extraordinary, and seriously one of the best movies I have ever seen.
+Gizelle Blanc best comment ever. You described the movie perfectly!!!!!
+Gizelle Blanc
But we actually lose our senses during our lives and if we're lucky enough,we'll end up with a beloved one in the end... Just like in the movie.
***** Doesn't always end this way...life isn't a movie.
Gizelle Blanc
that's why I said IF we're lucky...
And also that was the whole point of the movie - focus on love.
***** Love sucks
Watching this in March 2020 gives me even more creeps than 9 years ago...
I’m watching again today in fact right now. And yes we took things for granted.
when you watch this trailer you don't understand the whole point of the film but the movie is worth it to watch it it very beautiful film
I was watching the trailer thinking, I thought I had seen this. The trailer makes it out to be some normal drama with normal drama stuff happening to the couple.
jessica labelle one of my favorite movies ever
Thanks, I was just wondering about that
True.....
2020 made this movie come to life
Sad, Beautiful, Disturbing, Emotional and whatever you can think of. This movie makes you think about life.
It was one of the most disturbing movies I´ve ever seen, but not in a bad way. It was just awesome.
Claire Polett more than Me before you? Coz the movie is just a click away and I don't want to be disappointed it's movie night
@@zeasamudio7048 did you liked it? 3 years ago?
The trailer is fantastic because it tells you nothing about the movie. It seems like a tragic-romantic flick ... but trust me, its WAY more than that!
100%
This is my all time favourite movie. Changed my life.. changed my perspective on life. I even got my first tattoo because of this movie: "Sense" on the side of my foot. I have re-watched it at least another 20 times, and am about to watch it again. Best movie I have ever seen :)
I agree that it's an amazing movie. Still, wanted to recommend 'Baraka' to you. The entire movie in HD is on youtube =)
Ditto. First tattoo, right on my face.
Trying to find it now as I've never heard of this movie before today
If a movie can change your life, you are in trounble.
Obviously haven’t seen Vanilla Sky?
"Losing your sense of smell or taste could mean you have coronavirus" Great....
Lost mine completely during corona, it was awful, but after a month or so I regained it all back so... no harm no foul.
Its anosmia & is reversible
Lost mine too. I got them back after a few weeks, but not at the same level/ intensity. Nobody is talking about this... But I think Covid19 was created to affect the brain, not necessarily the lungs. The brain controls everything, including lungs, heart, smell, taste.... I know people who said that, the same as me, they never recovered their smell and taste fully. Also, does noone wonder about those heart attacks that followed the vaccines?
Try contagion bruh...👀🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️😅😏😒🧐🤔!!!! Lol
I lost complete taste and smell and now %50 hearing with the new variant , it specifically targets your ears :(
I have a severe ear infection for 4 weeks 😢
This movie is so good the ending broke my heart
this movie is so powerful, amazing.
Misliš?
danyrg20 :(..
The soundtrack is amazing.
Exactly what I came to say. It's absolutely stunning. Max Richter is a gift…
Eva Green is my ultimate girl crush :)
and Ewan McGregor my ultimate man crush. I guess this looks like an impeccable movie
Hew, a lesbian
Same girl, same. And Ewan is my guy crush since forever. That smile... Gotta say they nailed the cast 🤘
But Covid is not mine
This is one of the best movie I've ever seen. The trailer doesn't do it justice. I know it's a scary situation to lose senses, but I guess the concept of the movie is to remind people to not take some of the best things about us and in life for granted.
Is it really good ?
I really love this movie, especially because even when all (almost all) sense are gone, they can still see something good in life. That proves that only you have love in your life, nothing can stop you from living your life.
one of the most moving and profound movies I have seen. same effect each time I watch .. probably 4 times now.
One of the best films I've seen this year. With lovely performances, beautiful soundtrack, powerful photography, great script, full of sensitivity and smartly directed. There's nothing in this film that fails for me. It mixes genres in an intelligent way, so you won't find a typical love story nor an apocalyptic one. I got to feel what the characters were feeling,I was there. Everything looked real. That's the effect most filmmakers look for, right? Everyone in the cinema seemed delighted.
Different tastes. I found the film ridiculous and boring
Watched it when. It first came out. Never forget it. Love it.
This film is a love letter to humanity. It's a sad film yet it is beautiful and brave. There is a spot in the movie that seems to go on forever with no sound except for an undelying bass rumble that is similar to what you hear with your ears blocked. Amazing what they had the balls to do and show and I recommend this movie highly.
Saw this movie when it came out. It still remains my favourite movie of all time, and one of my favourite soundtracks.
I watched this movie 3 times in 2 days. Its probably one of the most stunning portrayals of what it means to be alive. Its tragically beautiful and meaningful.
does it have a satisfying ending?
@@JustinWTerry No and yes. I will say no. At least it appears to end tragically. But it does convey to the audience how grateful on is to have all five senses.
@@SteveGarza You're absolutely right, I watched it and I don't have words for what I saw.
You haven’t seen vanilla sky then, have you?
@@nathaniellowry3861 No, I have not. Should I? I suppose I should.
"Without love, there is nothing" Love that line! So true!
So do you still believe this
@@yurrryurrr1463 Do I still believe that life is pointless without love? Yes. But I also now know you that you need more than just love.
One of the best movies I've ever seen! Deep, and life changing.. I'm glad that I came across it!
I was going to skip it after watching the trailer...so glad that I read the comments and changed my mind
this movie was everything. beautiful, sad, scary, happy. I think it hit every emotion. One of the best films ever!!!!!.
My second favorite movie. I found so much meaning on it.. it helped me see life in a different way. It deserved all the awards in the world
You can't leave us hanging now. What's your first favourite?
@@samsammy95 exactly
This film is underrated. I've seen it several times. I always recommend it to people not just because of the actual love story, but the situations that are going on worldwide in this film.
mostt disturbing movie also 😢😢
i loved this movie. It's heartbreaking but truthful. I watched it online and then went out and bought it on Blu-Ray straight away
A truly amazing, heartfelt little diamond of a movie.
Enjoy life, you only get one chance at it.
When it comes to the movie its such a gem. Some says they cryed,i was too shocked to cry. This is a movie after watching it you cant say a word at least half an hour after. The movie which gonna come back in your mind over and over again. But most important thing is the message movie brings. My opinion this movie shows modern society as whole. Its about things we cant see,but it exists. About media disease, when you not bowered to hear things, but blindly trusting what media wants you to hear
This film a powerful metaphor of loss. For me, it portrays the unthinkable loss we face, as species and ecosystems die around us, like one sense at a time, shrinking our world, separate but still part of us. With each loss, we adjust and too slowly realize we can do nothing but await the next. This film portrays integrating a reality that is unthinkable.
this is a "love it, or hate it" film.
personally i love everything about it: dialogue, acting, story, music......
And approached her well
This movie is so...powerful. It has completely changed the way i look at things!! We are so..careless and take things for granted. Just Cannot Imagine a world with blindness, no sense of taste or smell and loss of hearing....its beautifully written and directed!! loved it!!
This movie was so conceptual my brain fell out. It's also got half the cast of Game of Thrones.
What? I didn't notice anyone from got in the cast.
Such a beautiful, timeless soundtrack.
Life changing, It really opens your eyes to the world.
This is one of the greatest movies of all time to me. You can literally think about it for years and discuss with beloved ones for hours.
One of the best dramatic film I've ever seen. Amazing.
iI'm here just passing the quarantine of Covid-19
👍
This movie is incredible. So powerful. Like I legit cried watching the movie.
This trailer doesn't do the movie justice.
This movie was recommended. Came to watch the trailer not knowing what to expect. Left with tears in my eyes, can't wait to actually watch the movie!
I haven't cried in a really long time and after this film ended, I held it together for about fifteen minutes before full out breaking down. This film was so tragically beautiful.
I watched it and that was heartbreaking, especialy the end, seriously that was to much... I cried, and i watched again this moment when they smile and run to each other and...
Best movie I've seen in a while. Disturbing, romantic, and profundly haunting. This isn't just entertainment, this is an experience you should savour. Highly recommended.
Seeing this movie in 2020 is scary.
Came here after many failed attempts of trying to remember the title of movie I watched years back and instantly fell in love. Thank you google.
Really enjoyed this excellent movie, Great cast and great subject matter. Highly recommend!
Every since corona started i keep remembering this movie. Its kinda like a message of what will happen i guess. Scary creepy af
I dont know how I spent almost 8 years without hearing about this movie. Could be busy with school back then, but this is a very emotional and nice one. believe in hope and never give up till death.
10/10
Heart wrenching experience , seeing as the days go by, you die a little bit more.
this trailer makes the movie look awful while it is actually really, really beautiful.
I absolutely agree.
I hope your right
+Alonso R S I'm sure you won't be disappointed, even if you may not like it as much as I do, you won't ,at least, regret watching it, it's really good.
Leah I personally didn't like it. It makes the movie look like a boring love story when it actually soooooo much more than that. The movie was wonderful with an original plot and it deserved more than a misleading trailer.
i think this trailers doesnt say anything., and thats whats good about it.. The surprise on the dicease's situation is what makes it great
This was an amazing video. Absolutely beautiful.
One of the best movies I've ever seen.
I didn´t cry until the end of the movie, what a powerful hit in my chest, that moment when they are pursuing happiness and the time when it seems this couple found it, tears felt from my eyes automatically, it was like i didn´t knew the reason why this was happening, until i totally comprehend the end. My empathy was too high at that lapse of time, i could fell what this characters felt, not the lose of senses, but the enormous amount of happiness. I cried of happiness, not of sadness. Weird.
"Whitout love there is nothing."
After I watched the movie I understood what it meant. Cuz without love there is nothing worth living for…
This movie was amazing! The acting is top notch, great script and excellent cinematography. cool take on an epidemic apocalypse movie.
This movie is a masterpiece! Very underrated. Stop the trailer and go watch it!
incredible film. Absolutely surprised by it.Unexpected.. Enchanting ...
a real GREAT film. I just saw it, and have tears in my eyes. I don´t remember when I had tears after a film the last time. So human!
Amazing movie ! Definitely recommend watching.
Just watched this for the first time. What a beautiful film.
The end was beautifully poetic.
This film is strangely uplifting. One of my favourites :)
I just watched this and it was one of the most incredible pieces of film I have ever seen.
I agree with you 100 %, I watched it several times my self and gave the movie as a gift to a friend for her birthday. I found it moving on so many levels. It was so realistic as how it would really be if such an epidemic actually occured.
when u finish watching the movie u see things in a way that u never did before. best movie ive ever seen
just saw the movie. it was so awsome!
Watched today, and I absolutely loved it. I found it profoundly moving and touching. Proving the human spirit ca and does endure.
Been looking for this film. Thank goodness for RUclips.
I've seen and loved the movie, but I never managed to make anyone else watch it using the trailer. There is so much more than a love story. Whyyyyy 😜
Terrible trailer.
They sell it as simply a love story with no explanation of what's driving the plot: people begin to lose their senses. This is vital to understanding the dramatic irony of the love story, which involves broken people searching for a connection. They begin to connect just as their senses start to fail.
dashrirprock it’s a great trailer. It shows you stuff without revealing the plot. If they went your way, it’d spoil the whole fucking film.
@@connorstephens7467 It's established very early in the film that the senses are lost one by one while the couple start dating. The trailer however shows glimpses of the very final scene. Doesn't seem right!
@@lizzieswe A friend of mine just recommended me this movie and if was just by the trailer, I would say it's a no for me. But reading a little bit about I'm interested in watching it.
Well, thank u for spoiling the film for those who haven't seen it.
@@ISEEKSPACE The film Liar Liar is about a crooked lawyer who, for one day, cannot tell a lie. The dramatic irony is that it involves a LAWYER who cannot LIE. There, now I spoiled that one for all of the idiots.
By the way, in almost all romantic comedies, the two leads end up together. I know what you're thinking.... "But she's a prostitute and he's super-rich." Nope, end up together. "But she's a maid and he's super-rich." Yeah, I haven't seen it, but they probably end up together. "But she's an economist and he's a rich Asian." End up together. Now I spoiled all of those for the mouth-breathers.
As someone points out, people start losing their senses early on. It's what drives the plot. This trailer just makes it seem like shouty, crazy people.
Surprisingly loved this movie.
That's cause your King is in it! ;-)
One of the most beautiful movies i´ve ever seen...brilliant...
And that’s how our lives are under control. Directors doesn’t predict future, they just have information and this is the key for us to be familiar with certain world events
This really moved me!..Incredible movie!
im so in love with Eva Green !! XD
this is the one of the best movie ive ever seen, i mean it. GENIUS.
Stunning, haunting, painful, sad, emotional, and a wonderful movie. There should be more like this.
This trailer doesn't do the film justice by a long shot but it does gives you an idea of its stunning soundtrack by Max Richter. my favourite soundtrack of any film, ever...
same, although Nico Muhly's The Reader soundtrack is impeccable as well
@Maxi Maximilian Interesting. I have never seen The Reader but if the soundtrack is anything like the one for Perfect Sense, I will have to check it out!
totally agree - she is an enigmatic and powerful actress...
Absolute cinematic masterpiece! So human and real. 5 Stars!!
It starts lightly and get into intense. The departure of each senses and how dependent we are. For a moment I think how diff and lucky we are to have each of these senses. And mostly life is not long, we don't have much time. Only live moments and when life hits hard all that give us alive will probably the memories of that passed moments. Eva Green ❤️👌
watching this in 2020 just hits different
One of the best movies i've seen.
The circumstances in this movie were so far fetched, but the acting and the emotion portrayed was so strong, that it was the only thing that made this movie as good as it was. Really enjoyed it.
The most unexpected duo in a movie. I'm looking forward for this. It looks so emotional.
Greatest movie I’ve ever seen. I cried at the end. Perfectly executed movie imo
One of the best movies I´ve seen.
I love how simple-sweet-fall-in-love-story the first half of the trailer looks...and then everything just flips. Especially at 1:40, wow. It's incredibly intriguing. I really can't wait for this film...
And Ewan just makes anything and everything better ;)
Keep thinking about this movie, just so beautiful yet sad and depressing. I love it. So much.
I-LOVE-THIS-FILM.
this movie is amazing, real feeling
every film that Eva been in, including this one are all amazing and worthwhile.
Watched last night, excellent movie...smart and well acted, Eve Green is amazing...

surprisingly this is one of the best movies I have ever seen, brilliant
Yes this is a pure masterpiece
This is Perfect!
eva green is perfection. I'm always surprised that she's only done a handful of movies
My favourite movie of ALL TIME! Trailer does this movie so much injustice
