There are these little silicone cupcake cups with feet on them. They are great to set into this rice cooker with water. You can steam eggs, bread, or cake, or make cupcake sized quiches in these footed cups. I use them in a regular pot with lid and a little water while hiking, and kayaking. I think a footed cupcake video would be adorable with your fun personality. ;)

You're such a "hoot", you left me in stitches watching this Rice Cooker review. About the measurements: The Rice Cooker comes with its own Measuring Cup. It does NOT measure to a full-on Standard Measuring (measures LESS than a Standard one). Use the one that comes with it because their recipes are based on using it rather than a Standard Measuring Cup.

I recommend getting yourself a miniature fridge/freezer that is compressor driven and not with a Peltier chip, as those are simply junk. I think the brand is Alpicool. Apart from the chemical toilet, this is the best addition I ever made to my micro-camper. They are not energy-hungry either. During the day it can run off a portable solar panel.

What’s nice is you can use a small pizza stone on the base to make small pizzas, and use a regular small pot over the pizza stone to cook. It’s easier to clean the pot. With a colander over it and water in the rice cooker, you can steam veggies and fish. Lots beyond the cookbook. Loved this device in college. Enjoy.
The pasta was probably not fully cooked as it takes longer than recommended.

you can make Mac n cheese with heavy cream and it's better, then use the heavy cream for soups that can also be made in rice cooker. I worked away from home for 2 years and cooked in a rice cooker! they are awsome!!

btw, I have a pumpkin bread recipe that I substitute the egg and pumpkin with applesauce (and sometimes a diced apple) to make apple bread - pretty good with some cinnamon added in - and would probably work well in your pot

Making the box pancake batter so thin you would think it wouldn't work has been my trick for years. I can make any box pancake mix taste like the one at McDonalds from back when there we all you can eat and made on the counter.

Cottage cheese is the best substitute for Ricotta cheese works in Lasagna too. Never had either one in banana bread or zucchini bread you had too much flour or didn’t mix it enough looked dry. Have fun traveling and stay safe.

I hope sometime you try a recipe with coconut oil. It would make a big difference in the taste. They do sell small bottles or you could just put a small amount in a small bottle or jar. I love things made with coconut oil. I even grease my skillet with it when making pancakes.

There are heaps of alternative cooking options.. i know.. i have brought most them !! And still i cook most my meals on gas in 4$ nonstick frypan.
But tucked away i have 400w crockpot $20
12 v mini oven gets to 300deg C $40 pies and pasta meals good in it
Saucepan with battery clips.. (the back up to the backup) $40
    Omini oven $$^&% too much..
Thermal pot. $100 love it. 5 mins on gas. Tuck it away for hours and you have lovely winter meals ps can use it for cheap cuts of meat.
You would think i could cook.. but no.. im not good at sticking to the recipe.

When following recipes you have to follow the recipe. Not pick substations just because it convenient. It's also best to measure. Not use to little or to much. Simply follow the recipe.
