Hey Canobie, your off-ride footages are always fantastic. This and Crystal Beach (Canada) were my home parks growing up. Viper was my first steel coaster, and while I thought I was hot sh*t conquering this as a young kid, I'd come to find out it's a VERY tame coaster. But it IS a classic Arrow Corp creation still withstanding after 40 years...Gotta respect that...
I wouldn't call it tame. The first half has a lot of force.
Id ride anything that was made by Arrow. Great rides. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was but a wee teenager when I heard of this coaster. Had NEVER heard on Darien Like. LOL! Loving the train colors + that classic Arrow lift sound + brakes!

I always found the layout on Viper to be odd. I never understood why it has a long straightaway between the loop and boomerang/kamikaze. I would wonder why they did not add a second loop after the first one.
Probably so they could put the batwing where they did.
Realistically i place in 4th in coaster lineup
