Buy nokians that are studded at the factory. The studs have anchors and I've never lost one on the 2 sets I've had. They're also better rolling resistance, tread wear and grip than the other brands i had in the 00s
Thank You for the info. I did look at them the problem was. These Generals are the only tire I could get in a non directional LT235 75 15. For a plow truck, studded nondirectional tires are a must. Thanks for watching and the comment
Directionals give the best traction going forward not in reverse. There is times with a plow truck you need that extra traction in reverse. The other thing is wear. When rotating them I have found directionals dont wear as good because you can run them one direction. Thanks for the comment and for watching
@@GMechinic They did use asbestos for many years before they had any problems with it. Lead paint too. Change to a proper lube, it's not that hard to grab a bottle of wd40 specialist silicone instead of the bottle you are using. Or even loctite 480 that will glue the studs to the rubber once it's cured.

@@GMechinic why do you need non-directional?

Everything right except the WD40. That isn't for rubber.... There are plenty of lube that are made for rubber, WD40 is not.
Thanks for the info but I have used wd40 for studding tires like this for years without any issues.
