I learnt from other instructors that on a Giveway line, when turning left, the driver doesn't need to come to a stop, except there is traffic on the right, but if it is A Stop line, then the driver needs to stop completely and look right. My understanding there, she didn't make any fault, as there was no traffic on the right, needless of her stopping completely.

People drive automatic to elevate the stress of using the clutch and changing speed with a gear stick, however you’re driving a go-Kart so your skills should be more focused on road awareness and people forget that. This driver has forgotten. Driving isn’t just automatically easy when driving auto, you still got to put in the work.
100% if anything, I truly believe that driving manual helps you develop more awareness compared to an automatic since the vehicle makes you accountable for every action you do, you're aware of the cars speed on approach to a junction etc because you're having to prepare the car in advance along with observations.
