Hey great news, the Dacia sandero will be avaliable in the uk
the w202 mercedes c class. it's just always overshadowed by the w201 and w124 wich are worshiped for being the last good mercedes built. now i'm not trying to talk those cars down, i mean i daily a w201, but i just think the c class also has to be looked at the same, as it was still oldschool design wise as well as with it's engines wich were the same used in the w124 seconds facelift

Well it was the first successful mass produced hybrid but there was actually quite a few before the Prius. The first was actually made in 1899 and designed by Ferdinand Porsche.
I agree completely. I love mine. Excellent A-B transport, awesome fuel economy, does it's job well. I would contend that the Prius is legendary in it's own right. The brand new ones are gorgeous in my opinion.

As an Romanian,Dacias are good until you come across the new electric Dacia Spring...it's good and of the cheapesg electric cars at 10000€,but it got 1/5 stars at the Euro NCAP crash tests...so
Thats the main issue with Dacia Spring, they do not meet safety standards on crash which leads to more dangerous situation. Despite it had Airbag, the deformation itself caused bad injury to chest and pelvis for driver and neck whiplash for kids in back seat-row. Dacia argued that too much protection is really not needed and some important protection like Airbags and side impact airbags are sufficient enough which against NCAP rules of safety.
It's based on the Renault qwid that's why, a smoll suv made for India and it's loose safety standards. Thus poor safety rating

Okay, i never knew the Renault Avantine was a thing that exists but I'm glad i know now. And those door, oh man, they certainly caught my eye.

The only thing they should have not done is add the ass from the Renault Megane Hatch, as it looks so bulky. (2000s)
I actually like this car along with the Renault Vel Satis, but sadly they are automatic only. I'd like to buy cars with manuals instead.
The Espace mentioned in the video also had a Nissan 350Z engine as an option xD

Pontiac Aztek actually was a good car said by James Pumphrey on Donut Media because it was the 1st car pioneering Crossover style where you can used it as recreation or hauled some goods from shopping. The design is kinda letdown, but the usefulness outweight the bad itself and this is the fact that everybody overlooked.

We own a Dacia Sandero and after almost 100k km in 8 years, it had not a single issue yet. That car really paid off

Honestly, a car you can own and thrash around without a care in the world is the best car for me. I have a 1997 diesel Audi A4. Cool thing about it? It has 340.000 km on it and the engine is perfectly fine with some basic maintenance and it cost me 850 bucks.

The Aztec has a lot of quirks and features, including a built-in tent. Even I don’t like of its cheap looking car (or remind me of a toy walkie-talkie or toy equpment), I like its quirks and features coz you don’t need to buy a stuff where it has a built-in things, while the others don’t have.
I mean I would rather take Aztec over some Tesla or Mustangs March E Aztec mind ugly but Aztec have is owner personality even more character than some crossovers nowadays I mean people modified Aztec as offroad is cool and beat up while offroad will be fun
The Aztek was overly criticized almost entirely by its appearance. Yet 20 years later, a lot of modern crossovers are beginning to look like them as well.
Most important thing is that it's Walter White's car, the other things are secondary
I always liked the Pontiac Aztek growing up (still do) but I never knew that it had that many features to it. After learning all that, now I love it even more!! W car
The drink holder fridge is the best part.

My mum had an aztek when I was little. That thing drove in the snow LIKE A BOSS. It had a few childhood memories. Still wish she had it, I'd totally drive it as an everyday car.
You should see the very last Dacia Sandero, doesn't look less expensive then a Renault or a Skoda, Dacia really improved in the design department still keeping lower prices. Nice list, if I could add some other weird car it would be the 6 seater Honda FRV. I was thinking that it was really ugly and that it has no place on the car market, but nowadays they are so rare and cool, I really like seeing them on the streets.
The based thing about Dacia's is that they are generally built on the same base, chassis and engines as Renaults from the previous generation, so they are proven commodities
The one thing I hate most about the car community is that we all seem to only appreciate a car after it's gone; see Lexus LFA and the aforementioned i3.

as an i3 owner and been following your channel, thank you for putting the i3 on this list rather than the ugliest bmw list. I've been really curious what you would think of it, personally i really hated the i3 at first when it first launched, it gotten to a point I googled a few article wondering what BMW team were thinking. few months later BMW launched a 3 days test drive campaign which i took advantage of and i gotta say i am pretty much sold the moment i drove off the dealer lot, after the test drive everything just starting to make perfect sense. I returned the loaner and been looking forward to pick up a CPO with all the options i wanted, I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Finally picked one up and its the best vehicle I had owned in my life, the warranty is also insane, 15 years /150,000 miles. Coded the range extender you can pretty much drive coast to coast
Good that you went for the REX version. That one is pretty much faultless and I'd love to own it too.

The first honorable mention was a Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. It actually was Enzo Ferrari’s daily driver. I saw and sat in that very car. It had Enzo Ferrari’s signature on the steering wheel.

Idk how it's perceived in other parts of the world. But for me the Volvo 240 wagon is one of my favourites. It's so plain that it's interesting. Added bonus is that it's built like a tank. Wouldn't consider it uncool.
In Scandinavia, old Volvos are popular in motorsport. The redblock can easily hold over 700 hp with turbo. You can order ready buildt 350 hp N/A redblock engines. Rally and rallycross cars are often old Volvos under the shell. Even the stock cars with 110 hp is fun in the winter. With the rather long and narrow wheelbase, they're very easy to handle.
The Lexus sc430 is basically the Ford Thunderbird but people hated it more. Both are amazing CRUISERS. Not sports cars, as you said in one of your other videos

and aside for the wiring the Robins a good, reliable car (compared to BL) car until your in a emergency situation and the "interesting handling" sends you hurtling into a ditch, i mean you avoided the accident
Argentina here. My dad owns a Renault Sandero, 2011. Basic as hell, only AC, obviously no smartphone holder, only a crappy radio and nothing else. 105k kilometers and only a rare alternator change a few weeks ago. Besides that, a cheap reliable car to move from A to B. Approved

The SC430 was a successful racing car, winning the Super GT three times in 2006, 2009 & 2013
i mean to be fair, i can imagine the Sandero being easy to tune and modify.
the sandero actually has a R.S version in Brazil, it is a fantastic car, the first Renault R.S to be built outside of France
I find busses quite cool. especially school bus or airport bus. cuz they can dominate the derby arena
Also trains and any public transport that clears the road for you
I totally agree with your comments on the Aztec. Not available in my country unfortunately, but I would own one as a second car in a heartbeat. It's clever, utilitarian, and you can go camping in it, which I love!
And I drive a Mercury Cougar, so clearly I don't care what people think of me. 🙂

I do like to say, the Espace is the coolest minivan ever, one had a V6! Driving one it is really really fast.
my grandparents had a avantime when they were brand new and even though i don't like minivans i'll have to admit that thing was rad. sadly they sold it a couple of years ago and now have a fully loaded espace wich looks way worse and feels like way worse quality even though it costs basically the same
Here on my country, the Sandero is sold as a Renault, and it sold really well to be honest. Now I know why, at least. But the Pontiac Aztek, boy oh boy. One of my favorite minivans ever made for sure! I also really liked the Renault Avantime. And the Neon SRT-4, it is really cool, no matter what anyone says. For sure, one of my favorite Dodge cars of all time

This thing actually raced in Super GT at one point.
It's crazy that a car becomes "bad" just because it's ugly. That's not the only thing that makes a car good.
Had 2 roadmaster wagons. They were really awesome cars. Also owned an aztek. As well as 3 different Lincoln town car limos. They really are misjudged. Even took the limos camping and hauled a fridge inside one of them
There are a lot more cars which look so lame but are cool. You should do a part 2

The Aztek wasn’t as bad as everyone claimed, it was just ridiculed so quickly when it first arrived to production.
The top line model offered heads up display, which you can’t say any other brands had at the time.
It wasn’t as bad looking after the first two years when they ditched the secondary plastic covering.
Honestly found those quite appealing.

The aztec was just way ahead of its time wirh its features tbh sadly so many quirky stuff that is just beyond awesome i never knew it existet ofc i am from germany and just knew and see it from Doug but damn its just an awesome trip car for the boys or a good lil small family

Absolutely loved this video thanks so much for the share. Being Aussie we never got to see some of the cars on this list but saying that there are several I have always been a fan of with the Pontiac Aztek and the Buick Road master being the stand outs as well as 2 cars we did get here the Volvo 240 and the Lexus SC430. Personally I drive a 2006 VZ Holden Commodore high output V6 Ute. It’s no 6.2litre SS V8 but it still puts a smile on my dial 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

In Brazil we have the Sandero badged as a Renault, since it's a cheap, reliable and easy to maintain, the Brazilians fell in love with it, so Renault Brazil brought it to our land. I own a 2015 model, with integrated media gps, rather than a phone holder. I just think Renault Brazil did a better job with the Sandero than Dacia. It's probably the most popular car in my country for how cheap it is. No matter where you are, there is probably a silver Renault Sandero around. Plus, the thing is very efficient. Mine does 17 km/L
One more thing: Renault actually brought the whole Dacia line here. So we have the OG Renault models like the Clio, the Fluence, the Megane, etc, and the Dacia models such as the Logan, the Sandero and the Duster

I think that the Pontiac Aztek family was advanced for their time and I like some of the features the car has and if you were to remove the ugliness from the car it would be a great car.

I love Volvo wagons, they are the ultimate stealth mobile. The BMW looks like a Fiat Multipla, need I say more? Let's not forget the Aztec's cousin the Buick Rendezvous, just as ugly in more muted colors. I also like those big Buick wagons, they will pull your boat to lake in comfort instead of having to buy a pick-up.
Okay. I will be honest, I want that built in phone holder in the sandero.
