If we're looking through with heart and not head/brain here then sure the Z or the GR Yaris/Corolla would be an obviously better choice to enjoy in. @@PlatinumNath that is the problem with EVs. I asked ChatGPT to write me a text about the Dodge Viper GTS on 1:46. I said this: Make a text about a sports car from the brand Dodge and the car's name is Viper GTS. Say that people would always say that it was beautiful, but was a terrible performance car. Talk that the Vipers were made in a next to 0 budge, Talk how it drives like a shopping cart without one wheel, and talk about how it's like a Sledgehammer - Big, blunt and dumb. Say that it has no Driving Aids whatsoever. But then say that we were wrong. Talk that in 1997, motor trend tested the Viper against a lot of sports car in its time. Talk that it that test, it won the quarter mile and top speed, which was to be expected, but then say that it also won the maximum lateral G and the 600-foot Slalom average speed and in top, the fastest lap time. Talk that the person who was fast at going around tracks was in the development of the Viper. Say that the Dodge Viper was simply a insanely manual speed machine and how we underestimated it. Then say "Now, let's see what you can do with it". Add a bit of humor and jokes to the text. (ChatGPT didn't like the joke of the yellow Viper crashing.) ChatGPT send me back this: Once upon a time, in the realm of sports cars, there emerged a beast named the Dodge Viper GTS. Its sleek design often prompted onlookers to exclaim, "It's a beauty!" But alas, whispers circulated that it performed as gracefully as a shopping cart missing a wheel-oh, the horror! Crafted on what seemed like a next-to-zero budget, the Viper was deemed a sledgehammer on wheels-big, blunt, and perhaps a bit dumb. Driving aids? Nonexistent. It was like taking a wild ride on a rollercoaster with no safety harness-hold on tight! But then came the revelation. In 1997, Motor Trend decided to put the Viper through its paces. As expected, it dominated the quarter mile and top speed tests, leaving competitors in the dust. However, the shocker came when it conquered the maximum lateral G, the 600-foot slalom average speed, and even emerged as the fastest around the track. It was as if the Viper had a hidden talent, waiting to be unleashed. As it turns out, the genius behind this speed demon was someone who knew a thing or two about racing around tracks. Yes, the person responsible for making the Viper fly was the very one who knew the art of track domination. So, dear skeptics, the Dodge Viper GTS wasn't just a pretty face; it was an insanely manual speed machine that we had underestimated. It defied the odds, leaving us to scratch our heads and admit, "Well, we didn't see that coming." Now, if you happen to cross paths with a Viper, just remember: it's not your average beauty; it's a sleek, cunning speedster waiting for its chance to prove you wrong. So, buckle up, and let the Viper unleash its unexpected prowess. Now, let's see what you can do with it-perhaps a little faster than a shopping cart, though!
I’ve seen the GT4 in person, but I didn’t find it ugly at all, but I’m a huge fan of Bertone’s Gandini; RIP. I wanted to drive it, but unfortunately it didn’t start.
Yes, the second series Viper was indeed a match for the others, but that has (almost) always been acknowledged - it is the first series which got the stick, and rightly so... The EV6 GT is not the first electric Kia... and it may be a match for speed and handling - but it is no match for emotion.
The problem with the 5th gen Prius is the styling became more important than interior space and ease of entry. Also, the spaceship IP is worse than the first 4th gen stupid IP. We'll see if all these "I'm cool too" aspects of the new generation will translate into repeat sales. Myself I'm hoping they'll calm down so I can buy my 8th Prius.
Cars in nonarable mentions: Ferrari FF Suzuki Kizashi (Recognised it as soon as I saw the "fake" exhaust) Ford Mustang GT-500 (If you don't get this one, something is wrong with you)
Big problem with the Kia is that in Canada in 2024 a lady went in to dealer who said she needed a battery as she scarred the belly pan hitting rocks that fell on highway in British Columbia which came to 60k which was 5k more than the car was six months earlier. Kia says wait the dealer quoted the wrong price but then a guy in Ontario Canada says wait a minute Weinerheads I was quoted same price just this year for my KIA EV battery replacement.
I'm sure the Viper is very capable and all that, but let's not forget it has no windows, no roof, no door handles and somehow weighs as much as an MX5 with a truck engine that alone probably weighs almost as much as an MX5. I imagine a 400 hp MX5 would spank all those cars too with a good driver.
About the Cayenne, what's said is only true about the 1st generation (MY '02-'10). So don't expect any Cayenne after 2010 to be able to do diddly POOP off road. LoL poop
For the kia ev6 gt. I dont think it shout be sports car of the year because in my opinion theres more to a sports car than just speed and all of that. Theres also looks and sound that i think are really important
Well I guess I can use the EV6 to my advantage because some of its tech is developed in Croatia which is an Ex-Yugoslav state, so communists are probably making the JDM weebs jealous. 😈

IMO, the only "ugly" Prius models were the first and fourth generation, not counting the Prius V and Prius C, those were actually not bad looking. The 2nd gen was boring, but not ugly.
Im missing the Fiat Multipla. Looks dogshit but drives surprisingly good
The fact about smart is wrong because my grandpa works as a mechanic for more than 10 years and the thing that 'saves' the car from crashes is plastic and is not made out of metal, just pure plastic. Yes, he disassembled the smart and assembled it back.
Yes
I remember that PC game from the 1990s "Viper Racing" - that was bad ass.
Porsche 911 dakar 😮💨
What's with the Suzuki kizashi on the list?
I asked ChatGPT to write me a text about the Dodge Viper GTS on 1:46. I said this:
Make a text about a sports car from the brand Dodge and the car's name is Viper GTS.
(ChatGPT didn't like the joke of the yellow Viper crashing.)
ChatGPT send me back this:
Once upon a time, in the realm of sports cars, there emerged a beast named the Dodge Viper GTS.
It defied the odds, leaving us to scratch our heads and admit, "Well, we didn't see that coming."
Now, if you happen to cross paths with a Viper, just remember: it's not your average beauty; it's a sleek, cunning speedster waiting for its chance to prove you wrong. So, buckle up, and let the Viper unleash its unexpected prowess. Now, let's see what you can do with it-perhaps a little faster than a shopping cart, though!
Fun fact i bought a suzuki grand vitara for myself today without knowing this fact .. it was a fun surprise
suzuki kizashi mentioned? Awesome.
Cars in nonarable mentions:
Ferrari FF
Suzuki Kizashi (Recognised it as soon as I saw the "fake" exhaust)
Ford Mustang GT-500 (If you don't get this one, something is wrong with you)
Something is wrong with you 😋
:O@@TopCarsTV
The fifth gen of the Prius is really a supriuse!
I like that Nissan thing. ♥️
LoL poop
The new prius is actually great. I never hated the Cayenne. I mean, the headlights are weird. And? I want a suv that is fast and is an actual suv
I'm new here. Whoever is doing commentary is wild😂😭
I have been talking about that viper GTS and how amazing that car is for years and no one believes me.
the dodge viper is insanely underrated
@stype187 hey! What about a video about the Abarth 695? A car that is ridiculous fun to drive? 🤔
Honorable mentions: 1- Ferrari FF; 2- Suzuki Kizashi; 3-Ford Mustang GT350
For the kia ev6 gt. I dont think it shout be sports car of the year because in my opinion theres more to a sports car than just speed and all of that. Theres also looks and sound that i think are really important
I agree with you. Sound and experience is more important than speed alone.
As for the look, it won design awards. How much better can it get?
Why am I this early
Smart fortwo🤩
8:02 I'd take it!
4:24 the Kia started before, watch at x0,25
i have a 2007 Cayenne S It would be floored by the EV6
The Prius 5th gen is actually the 7th gen. Between the 3rd and 4th gen there is a Prius C/Aqua and the Prius V/Prius A.
Well I guess I can use the EV6 to my advantage because some of its tech is developed in Croatia which is an Ex-Yugoslav state, so communists are probably making the JDM weebs jealous. 😈
Smart Car: I thought it'd be loaded with lot's of modern-day fuel efficiency technology. Hence the name "Smart Car" and get like 55+mpgs. Since it's a little 800-ish pound tuna can on wheels. But nope....it only gets like 39 combined real world mpgs.
The Elio 3 wheel car was supposed/claimed to get like 75 hwy mpgs.
Oh how the turntables
The Kia just Looks like every modern electric car tbh
KIA EV6 Might be good at all, but certainly not in keeping your money since I had a brief look on the resell values : (
cool
