I set my brows with aloe Vera gel it dries quick and aloe Vera gel actually helps grow back brows it’s natural no chemicals

Try castor oil, not only is it good for forming brows, it helps the hairs grow super fast, I’ve been using it for a month and I now look like the wolf man, which is what I wanted so I could reshape my brows from scratch...I lost the outer sides from thyroid issues
Lost my outers too due to thyroid issues. There's always a ugly rough patch there now... which i really hate.
when i saw the transparent soap trend, i bought a soap bar from the brand “pears” and a few times after me using this hack i noticed some of my eyebrow hairs missing. girls be careful!💞
I'm 63 and my eyebrows seemed to have thinned over the years..i wanted more definition with them and decided to give this soap technique a go. Loving it! It really works and works well.

Ladies, leave the soap alone. They actually sell a wax stick just for eyebrows at Sephora, Ulta etc. Trust me on this one😉

@@feathers34 Very affordable. I cant remember the exact dollar amount I paid, but maybe in the $10 range & it lasts a very long time. Just ensure you don't leave it in a hot car or it will melt.

Try neutrogena’s glyerin bar, if they still make them. El cheapo! I’m a retired esthetician. There is a happy medium. So glad brows are back!! Young girls DO NOT OVER TWEEZE‼️

I have very thick eyebrows naturally however had a waxing disaster and had to start growing them back, they are getting there however my tails are still pretty sparse and I still love the soap brow technique, I just make sure I let it dry in place before I go in with powder or pencil in the sparse areas. Everyone’s different but definitely try it, it makes them appear so much fuller even in sparser areas
Bobbi brown eyeshadow brush and an appropriately coloured eyeshadow works well for sparse brows x
Look into brow lamination. You will have to go to an esthetician.

If soap makes you itch, you’re likely to be allergic to it. Get different soap.

Dermatologists warn, that leaving soap on your skin & not properly rinsing it off can cause skin irritation & dryness.
Idk, maybe it doesn't affect everyone the same.
@@razztazz1982 Yeah, it will happen sooner or later. There's nothing new with this trend, it happens every 10 years. When I was 20, a friend did it every day for months. And then her skin peeled off continuously for the rest of the year. It was painful, the sun was a punishment, and the worst part is her eyelids had been hit too.

I don't know why people don't do proper research prior to making a video & recommending it, when there are bad consequences from using a product like this that's not recommended to be left on the skin.

It’s reasonable, achievable for anyone and doesn’t require a ridiculous amount of products or steps. I hope that makes sense. Ladies, put the soap down & just buy an eyebrow WAX stick! It's not for waxing, it just lays your brows thick but smooth. You don't want to sweat & get soap in your eyes! 😳😱

Using soap is so wrong. Why would you want to leave soap on your brows? I agree with you, using brow wax.

Seems that the soap would irritate your skin
Leftover soap and gels can cause skin irritation if sensitive already, just keepnthat in mind if that applies to you.
And when bald men did overcombs we laughed so hard xD Now it's revenge time :(
I found a tin of men’s mustache gel at TJ Maxx and used that. Works great! Lasts long- no fragrance and was cheap.
You can do the same with clear mascara from Cover girl.
Brush the clear mascara through eyebrows while combing and shaping them. Let dry and repeat. BAM done.
I have never seen or heard of anything like this before I wud have thought using soap wud be itchy
I just want to point out - I’ve been doing this for years with a clear brow and lash mascara. I didn’t know this was a ‘thing’. But the brow / lash stuff is much easier and more convenient to apply (you can bring it with you wherever you go), and it works super well ((AND it doubles as a clear mascara))!!!

You can do the same thing with hair gel or hair spray , but this sounds interesting.
Looks good but I'm not sold on leaving soap on my eyebrows for extended period of time.. especially at work because we shoot in different locations and many a times we film out in the hot hot sun sweating buckets!

Howcome it didn't grow back as thick. My eyebrows are naturally very thick but I shave some of it off every few months, yet they still been growing back just as thick as before? Howcome yours don't?

I actually love my brows like this but I use Cover girls clear gel brow and maybelline clear gel brush. And I get the same results also. I always get compliments with my brows!

Hello. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and tips about using soap brow, definitely will maybe try in the future, but for now I'm using an eyelash growth serum from amazon, great product, had great results using it.

I say love your brows as they are. And if you want them to look thicker use lotion on them. Not soap. These makeup tutorials are getting ridiculous. Hey! You want your lips to look bigger! You deodorant on them that will do the trick! .........Waiting to see how many mindless people will try that.

My concern is the long lasting effect soap can have on your skin when its left alont for so long on your skin especially a sensitive area as your face.
amiwhoiam it does work! It looks pretty cool. I just recommend not to do it. I've seen a lot of things happen to my clients eyebrow since this has become a trend. It caused the skin
Underneath the eyebrow hair to get inflamed and sometimes start peeling. It can also leave build up on the skin which will kill off your hair follicles by suffocating them over and over again with the soap. Cool trend just be careful.

Soap's gonna dry out the skin and eventually, the hair's gonna fall because of it's dryness. The lasting effect of the soap cwould be over cleaning the natural oils of the skin.
I bet that this technique will cause some serious dry skin, no??
When your left brow gets sparse on the last third of brow, you need to have your Thyroid checked !

Koser Khan I had Hypothyroid for a few year’s. Because my Dr. did Not tell me I was Hypothyroid for month’s, he is no longer my Dr.. My left Eyebrow is still missing the last third of my brow, UGH !

honestly it just saves money, as soap bars are often cheaper and last longer
the soap sort of laminates the brow hairs to stick to your face which makes them appear longer, bushier, and thicker :) it also sticks better than just brow gel.

Edge control gel works wonders too!! Kept my eyebrows in place all day! Really hold each strand pretty nice!

Thank you for this - your results are really lovely. I have watched several videos on this and like yours the best because I think it looks the most natural. In some of the other videos, the brows ended up looking very drawn in which is fine, of course, if you are going for that look. Just not my personal preference.
They use to use soap in stage theater to block out their brows.
Tried it today and left it on for a few hours to see how it would wear. Personally I have nice brows already, but it helped the hairs set in place and lay flat. I didn't have a translucent soap bar tho, mine was white so after a few hours it kinda began flaking white soap - not fun. When I was ready to rinse it off before bed, I noticed it had gotten three little whiteheads right above my eyebrow hairs in the front! That really sucked, be careful what kind of soap you try. After reading more comments I'm not gonna do the soap trick anymore and try the aloe vera gel instead. Good luck peeps.

If you just brush your eyebrows up and out with a spoolie, and then fill them in with your pencil or powder, then set them with clear mascara or eyebrow gel it does the same thing. Her eyebrows look super good though cool experiment

Hairspray, clear mascara, hair gel, and now soap. Cool that it works, but the others are less messy and way faster in my opinion.
Hailey Williams none of them work . I haven’t tried soap yet though . I tried the NYX wax pencil too and that kept my brows flat for about 10 minutes and then it went back to being not flat . Waste of money most of them .

I didn't think I went that long without watching makeup videos and I've never heard of a couple of these eyebrow techniques. Soap, glue, etc. I can't believe how much fashion changes. I remember trimming the tops of my eyebrows because I thought they stood too high and now people like to brush that part up to make eyebrows look even fuller.
I know, it seems kind of crazy.... Like we're trying to go back to the '60's? Next we'll be not shaving our legs or armpits. Going all natural, lol!
You can achieve the same result with clear mascara....without the bubbles or possibility of stinging eyes.

Soap is bad to leave on your skin. Overtime it will dry your skin and make it itchy/ flakey. Soap is made to rinse, I do have an alternative. Suavacito or Suavacita pomade. It's meant for your hair and will hold its shape and rinses out easily with just water. You let it dry and apply 1-2 coats and it stays like that all day.
Your brows look so good, but do you have to do this every day? It seems a bit time consuming.
