I love how you zoomed in real tight when you were doing your brow.
😘❤️
Yes, it makes such a difference! Like if you're doing an eye make-up tutorial, it's best when it's so zoomed in the eye is taking up most of the screen so we can reallyyyy see what they're doing xx
@@chloesismey731 right?! Unlike others who say they’re going to zoom us in but barely zooms in. I mean hahaha
Yessssss
I used to do this until one day I was out and it rained so much the soap was running down in my eyes and I couldn’t stop crying because it stung so bad… my entire makeup was ruined. Since then I use hair styling wax instead which is waterproof haha and it also sticks the hairs to your skin better without making them hard and crusty
I was thinking something similar but living where it currently is over 100 degrees daily I can only think of breaking into a sweat and red eyes
Which hair wax do you use!!
what hair wax do you recommend?
so generous of miss Zyva to let Alex appear on her channel
Just tried it and seriously, this is the first time I’ve been actually HAPPY happy with soap brows
Everything thing i have laerned about makeup is from your videos
A life-saving trick I discovered with my bushy brows is to frown while brushing the spoolie through the front/inner/thicker part of the brow. Frowning helps you get all those stubborn hairs hiding underneath the others that refuse to be brushed, and without frowning, I kept getting disrupting my foundation above the brow with the soap. 😡👍🏻
Bruhhhh I never tried that and my brows are full af. Thank you
The emoji 😭😭😭
Frowning? Or furrowing?
@@mkay2925 🤭 I have never heard that word used in my life. Maybe furrowing 😂
Frowning until u hit 40 and lines start to show
LITERALLY what I was looking for yesterday from your tutorials, wow 😮
Btw, your makeup is so flawless i didn't even think you were wearing foundation 👀❤️
Them nails caught my eye😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love how you just reminded me how effortless brows should be. Looks amazing and so simple!
you should try the pears soap, it's best to use a transparent soap instead of a white one, the white one leaves the white cast over your brows
900K??? Congratulations!! You have made so many great strides and it’s totally due to your artistry, teaching ability, honesty, and personality. I have learned so much from you & appreciate all of your hard work & dedication to your viewers!! 💜
Everything about this video is perfect: cat cameo, your skin, and the brow tutorial.
Idea for a video... Mixing bright coloured eyeshadows - or primary colours and the like but not neutrals - in order to neutralize them. I have a few really amazing formula palettes that are in mostly bright rainbow colours. So I barely use them.
I'm certain, based on colour theory, that I should be able to mix a couple of them to come out with some unique neutrals or interesting darker colours... Like good muddy. But I don't know if I should do it on my lid, in a separate palette mixing the powders like paint (seems a waste) or dipping the brush in a few pans and hoping for the best.
I thought maybe you had some bright colourful palettes around and could test those methods, and maybe more, and let us know. This way we can get more out of our makeup and not have to buy more.
I’m no MUA or artist like Alex, but I think layering would be a good way to do it. You can get a consistent look on both eyes best this way, without unnecessarily wasting product. Good idea! It would be a cool video, too.
Since I’ve started watching you, all I say is “mm that’s not cute” if I accidentally stitch up my makeup 😂
ohmygod! you have the most perfect skin I've ever seen on a human!
Omg i actually learned this myself just like 2 days ago and it really makes a difference!! When I used to just do it with soap I would notice a couple hairs wouldn’t stick down (?) but by gently pressing down and adding a bit of brow powder you’re good to go! ✨
Genius! Thanks for the tip
Hey Alexandra could you please do a video about tips on how to apply brow gels correctly to avoid the residue gels leave around the brows 🙏
No long intro, straight up to the tutorial, best advises. That's why I love your videos❤️
can we get an updated base routine video? Your skin here looks godly!! 🤩
I looks as though your skin problem is takin care of. Glad that you got that sorted. Skin looks amazing.
Exactly. Her skin = perfection
The skin is looking flawless sister
Definately trying this tomorrow. Yay!!! So excited.
Older video but your skin looks so good here! Curious what foundation you're wearing here and or concealer
Love! The laminated brows have grown on me. So chic!
Looks great. I used LiBrow for 6 weeks then had my brows tinted and laminated and now I wake up with my brows already looking like I’ve soaped them.. all I do is add a couple of hair strokes with an eyeliner and a use hair spray on a brush (although I hardly need to) to keep them in place and I’m done! So happy with them.
You like STUNNING !!! And your skin so so glowy.
Adored that you didn't involve any filters to smooth out your skin like the other makeup artists! 🥰
The Got2b hair gel (in the yellow tube) is WAAAY better than the ABH Brow Freeze!! The brow freeze is so finicky and only really looks good is u have perfect natural brows, and u wear it without any brow products. The Got2b is perfect, u only need a pea sized amount for both brows, it does NOT BUDGE, and it comes in a huge tube for like $5 😍😍💖💖
@@veritas8437 yes, it is. And dang, that sucks. This stuff is perfect. U'll never look back to soap brows
@@veritas8437 ur welcome! I'm up all night for work. And my eyebrows have NEVER stayed put before this. I wish more people knew about it
The BROW QUEEN😌❤
😘❤️
Always loved your brow techniques, but your SKIN. It looks incredible!
Right??! I need to know what's on her skin that is so glossy 😍😍
Fabulous video demonstrates technique with a little patience goes a long way. Beautiful.
Okay this is totally off topic of the video, but whattt foundation would possibly give you that gorgeous healthy glow?? I love it
yessss you made a whole video on it! I heard you mention it the other day - made a facebook post about it - but we were guessing on the whole technique. thank you from a sparse blonde-browed redhead lol
I'm sharing this with everybody
Not a brow pen rec, but I've started using hairspray on a spoolie instead of soap. I felt like soap gave me a weird white cast, and hairspray doesn't.
I was scrolling for white cast comments! Love the look of soap brows but even the clear pears brand soap is a strange haze. I feel these look good on camera but wanted real life thoughts
Oooh, that's a good idea!
yes!! I set my brows with hairspray and a spoolie everyday!
do you just spray the spoolie? what's the best way to apply? and what kind of hairspray?
Ok literally, I’m so glad you did a video on this. I just started doing this and I couldn’t find ANYONE’s tutorial or talk about it. No one. Everyone is just like “soap brows, you know?” And I’m like “🥴🥴🥴 NO???!”
Ive seen a lot of makeup artists on RUclips. You are by far my favorite one!
This is what I'm lookin' for, so straight to the pointt, thanks❤️
I think you are one of the best make artists on here!!!!
My dyslexic brain be like: "I animated my brows with soup"
Tomato be kidding?
I LOVE the NYX Pen and i tried many products like this. This and the Ardell stroke a brow feathering Pen are my fav's. (Both have brush tip) The lines are a little bit thicker but it looks really natural and feathered. The NYX one makes the finest hair like precise lines but it can Look to perfect.
Please please please do a best drugstore eyebrow pencils video! I'd really appreciate it!
I've been looking for a nice tutorial on this exact thing!! and you have no idea how much my adhd brain thank you for making short simple videos too, exited to try it!
Love this! It looks natural but amazing
Hi chickadee, So I've been watching for years now & finally decided to buy Dr Bronners bar soap. I was wondering if you recommend putting on foundation after doing my brows? I noticed you did yours with your foundation on, but you're a Pro, and you NAILED IT. Today will be my 1st attempt at your method. I'm excited cause my brows need h.e.l.p. 90's plucking did me dirty 😅😂
i love the benefit brow gel for this
First of all i love you, your skin is perfection! Second, i really wanna know do the soap on your brows last all day???
You can see the soap in your brows just underneath the front of your brow. (I am watching on a tv so maybe it's more obvious there). I wonder if this would work better with a clear bar of soap like pears? Idk if I'd want soap residue just hanging out like that.
The shape and everything looks awesome though.
Gotta try your tip thanks for sharing. Favorite RUclipsr
this literally helped me after getting my eyebrows "done" like a hatecrime THANK YOUUU
Dude you're glowing and your eyebrows are impeccable ❤😍
😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Your skin in this video looks especially amazing! (Your skin always looks great.) Please share the products/application techniques you used.
I learn so much from your channel
Brah I’ve been looking for a good brow tutorial. So glad you posted it😁
The result is perfect! And I could not stop admire your skin too haha 🙈
Wow! I love this! Can’t wait to try it! Thank you!
Thank you, thank you! I have been watching all your brow videos because I need help! LOL!
Woaw, I was just watching brow tutorials and yours just came out, what a coincidence! 😍
This is a sign for me to do my brows. Its been MONTHS. Thanks for showing us how! Looking fabulous, as always! 💕
Yesss! I was excited to see this because I LOVE your brows 🙌
your eye color is insane
Tried this last night after you mentioned this in your last video, it was AWESOME. I typically do full on pinup brows but this is my go to for the weekend and 'low matinence' and sans makeup days for just a slightly more polished and natural look. I was on the fence to buy the Anastasia brow for use but I pulled out an old bar of the Pearlins (sp?) soap and it worked just great.
This is kind of video I really loved....precise!!!
You skin looks so flawless!!!
Love your videos.....
Thank you for all the information you gave us
Your brows are beautiful. Goals!
Awesome! What highlighter are you using these days???? It’s SO pretty!
I want your brows! They are perfect! 🥰
I'd really like to see a Sheglam/Shein makeup review, they have a bunch of brow markers, foundations and concealers as well. ❤️
Napoleon Perdis Liquid framed brow pen is really good!
Omg thank you during your other video I was like soap? wat? brows? Also I don't know anything about brows TBH so this was really helpful!
Your skin looks amazing, which foundation did you use in this video?
I've always tried doing this with eyebrow gel, but found gel feels a way too thick. Definitely gonna try this! Thank you!
And too wet, right?
@@vickytime3855 Definitely that too
I had given up on wanting to actually nail this brow style but now your techniques give me hope to try again, they look so good and so easy! 🙌
So glad I am subscribed, you're always experimenting some interesting things and sharing great tips, thank you Alex
🙏🏼❤️
LOVE your technique!!!
I tried soap brows once and it failed BUT I’m willing to give it another go using this method, thanks! Also your nails are super cute
When she said not to get your foundation mixed in, she is sooo right, its mega important as other wise it leaves your brows concealed ha. I tint mine mega dark brown and when I fist started doing soap brows id always end up with them being barely visible and it took me a hot min to realise it was my bb cream getting In there as I dont use foundation so even bb cream will ruin them if you get it in , I do my brows first now and just dab around them with my bb cream and concealer :)
Omg we have the same nails!!! Im obsessed!!
Hi Alex :), do you find the soap affects the health of your eyebrow hair? Is there any any hair loss at all from the soap?
So I tried this and I realised that my brow hairs are extremely tall I was shook 😂
😂
Same, every couple weeks I have to trim my eyebrow hairs because they grow so long. Wish my eyelashes had that problem 🙄 😜
@@kthewhite7453 I trim mine weekly 😭😭😂
I wish I had long brow hairs. Mine are pretty short so I can never get them to look fluffy 😢
I’d loooove to know your thoughts on using the got2b glue for brows if you would ever try it
fenty wax pen is pretty nice!
Oooh, do you think this would hold thicker brow hair?
Loved this!! Could you do a video on what your go to summer, juicy, bronzed look would be?
Mary Kay just lunch waterproof eyeliner’s. I generally like eyeliner for my brows instead of brow products. Also, they have a liquid volumizing brow tint that I love.
This is so pretty
My blonde n sparse brows thank you for all the tips and product recommendations! I'm putting Dr. Bronners soap on my grocery list 😏
I don't even speak english but here I am loving your videos, learning a lot... thanks google translate 😅
That's so cool!
Thank you for zooming in!!
Omg you are so gorgeous 😍 love the video going to try 👍
Really enjoyed your video!!
Your skin is looking amazing (under your make up) 😉
We need to see your beautiful cat!!! 😍😍😍
Question for you...I have never used soap before, does it leave a film, or get flakey?
So gorgeous!
I tried this for the first time this morning and loved it. Does it really matter what soap? Looks so great on you!
Love your style! Keep on making videos please. You are a true artist.
Was at shopper drug mart looking for this soap! Not there. Not giving up!!! Love this.
I actually really love the Milani Precision Brow! Taupe is my perfect color.
I have the Charlotte tilbury brow gel. I like it but it’s hard to get that laminated look. It was pricy so I wanted to not give up on it just yet. I wonder if your technique would work with the ct. brow gel. Hmmm. Going to have to try and see before I give up on it.
Thanks!
Love it so simple. I use the nyx micro pencil in ash brown.
I really love the ABH brown frizz gel. Can't stop using it.
It's honestly crazy how close my entire face is to yours. Same lip shape, same eye shape, same face shape. Even watching this, my eyebrows are literally clones of yours, only they are nearly black. Main difference is my nose. I even have hazel eyes as well, like what?! haha. I love the way you do your makeup, especially because it works for me so well, you're definitely my makeup idol.
