The opening drone shot and the music are spectacular!! There is a real artist in you Brian you are a very talented videographer. So happy your car passed its test!! Yes, video and sound is better. You are so good for helping your neighbour! You did really well with your camera holder....well done Brian. Another great video...thank you!!
It's very kind of you to help your neighbor, although, nobody would have imagined you'd do otherwise. Thank you for such positive... dare I say 'normal'?... content from your corner of the world.
Love the opening drone shots and music choices ❤❤❤❤❤Glad your car passed. Your neighbor is lucky to have you around. Thanks for taking us along. Great new camera and sound 😍😘
The camera was a great investment. I cannot believe the difference. So much more detail. I knew your eyes were blue, but goodness they are intense. I could not see that with the other camera. I was taken aback when you first came close to the camera. Beautiful eyes. 🤩🧡
Great timing! I just came in from outdoor yard works for a coffee and sit down and there's your video. Yes, I did laugh with your fencing escapades, I've spent many years doing the same for horses and goats. Not that the goats paid any mind to them anyway. 🙄 They preferred to frolick on the front porch until I got home for the day. I hope you have had a wonderful weekend and found everything for your Mom. Good job helping out your neighbor!
wonderful vid 😊hope the camping went well 😊 another bril brianvlog, the 31 people 🤪🤪 watching are loving this! 😁🎉🎉 dresser and bookshelf you were looking for btw 😊
You have a nice life in rural France. It is nice that you don’t over extend yourself so you can deal with things as they arise and do as you wish when you like.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle Washington. We called that Scotch Broom. It triggered everyone that had hay fever when it bloomed. Rumor had it that it came over from Scotland with a lady who settled in a little town on the Puget Sound called Steilacoom, in the mid 1800s. The way the seed pods explode in the heat of summer was a very effective method of seed distribution and that stuff was EVERYWHERE.
Well done Peugeot 😁😁Hope we get to see you out n about on the old/ new bike when it’s refurbished. You are kind to your neighbour 👍 Don’t mind at all being in the footwell, it works well and the fact it spins is a bonus. Enjoy your camping. ✅
You seriously need another tool box for all your cables, microphone, camera parts, Brian. And we do want to go into any little second hand or antique shops.
Thanks for the laughs - for the epic opening sequence with the drone and fitting musical accompaniment - for helping your neighbour! I agree with the others: being active is vital to him!
The picture quality with the new camera is great. Sound too. But I didn't catch the huge boar in the vlog - it ran just too fast for me 😄 Your neighbour is simply amazing, continued good health to him - well, to you both!
Brian we all love your vlogs, please don’t get too techie on us, we don’t need top end quality, just be you. Glad you passed the NCT test. You are soooo kind to you neighbour, always doing jobs for him, love that 😊
Thank you for the update! Yes, the new camera works quite well! I didn't realize how blue your eyes are! Glad to hear car #2 passed with minor repairs, the bike is getting done up and you ate. Out here those U shaped things are called wire clips, and thank you for the muscle use with a blue pole driver, I've never seen one that large (normally I'm not a flirt but you can take that for the guns or the driver ). I don't know if you've ever heard of "the Muppet show", but your microphone looks like "beaker"s cousin. Any way thank you for sharing, have a wonderful rest😊
Well done Pascal, 🤗 I’m sure whatever you turn your hands too will always work out well. I don’t know if you have a trade but everyone could do with someone like you as a friend. It’s always good to help out neighbours. The new camera is so clear and the sound is grand. 😘🇨🇮
I really enjoyed your vlog today, Brian! You're just as productive on the weekends as you are during the week. High five!! So glad you don't have to worry about getting a new set of wheels right now. Does it bug you as much as it does me that all the cars on the road these days look basically the same? A sea of sameness it seems. Thank goodness for Pascal! Enjoy your time camping as much as you can. Winter is coming. If I could go right now, I totally would. Hopefully we'll see you again tomorrow. Cheers! ☕💖✨
That plant called broom reminded me of the tumbleweeds that grow and blow across the lower parts of the southwestern US. I lived in Southern California, the high desert area years ago and watched these hugh dried up tumbleweeds blow across a major freeway and caused all traffic to slow to a crawl. My first experience in a desert being storm with tumbleweeds was just like in the old westerns that helped to create the entertainment industry back in the old days with the old cowboys. 🤣 Those were pretty real.

Kitchen case &Book Dresser or something like that, 😀👍
How about an interview of your 90 year old neighbor? Ask him questions about his life and if he has any advice for your viewers. Make him a RUclips star before he dies!! ♥
Stunning sunrise !!!! Glad to see you doing something other than hanging on the side of a extremely high turret … good news about Peugeot and bike👍 New camera is an absolutely winner !!!! Hope you manage to find what your mum was wanting.. Thanks for sharing your life in Rural France ! Durban SA🇿🇦
You are doing a wonderful job vlogging. Your voice is like a melody, your camera work is fantastic and lovely scenery. And not to be forgotten is that music. Oh....I love it. Your new camera is looking and sounding amazing. I really enjoy your escapades. Dan & Nick and you make a great team. Been watching Dan since Day 1. Happy to find you!! Hope you are having a good day. ❤
Thankyou Brian. What a way to start our day with a total well known stranger with a heart of gold, hard working funny happy human. I love my bizarre online family and enjoy living the life I wish I had. Much appreciated Brian. You’re so lovely 😊
If you look at the fencing pliers you will notice two holes in the middle. They are usually the perfect size for the fence staples to fit in. You can therefore use them to hold the staples / pins in place while you start hammering them in...and save your fingers in the process!! Just in case you didn't already know 😉 xx
Had a good laugh about something you said but will have to check what it was!? I get anxious about any changes as i age so its good to have Brian vlog where things are chugging along and no worries. You even managed the new camera stuff with your usual easy no fuss funny way. You are such a tonic for those crap days😂thanks Brian 👋👍👏🎶🎶🎶🎶
Pig on Steroids so funny Brian🤣, You were a mindful of information today about Fencing etc ,. Glad your car passed ok at La Technique and your bike getting mended as well . Mabe yiu need to write things down so you do not forget what you to do or get🤣. Loved watching Brian😘
Yes Brian, the new camera is better! You did a lot in the weekend and I hope that you'll have a great night camping! Loved the drone shots! You starting to be a real you tuber!💋
Where I'm from, we call fencing pliers, "wire pliers." Also, where I'm from (cattle ranching country), to work on fences, we use come-alongs, golden rods and post hole diggers. Although, it looks like the ground is so soft in France, you can easily drive a post down into the ground and don't need a post hole digger. And finally, I'm glad you are wearing glasses. I know someone who was blinded in one eye from a wire fence staple.
@@twvea LOL. I am surprised somebody had an idea as to what I was talking about. However, I can't say I ever had to black a four board fence. Wood was too hard to come by, the climate was arid and wood didn't rot as quickly as places like Europe and by the time I came along, we were converting to portable pens. Don't you hate it when the barbed wire is so old it breaks when you try to stretch it?
Looks like folks farm in your part of France. What kinds of crops are gown? Such a lovely landscape. Thanks for showing it to us. And as far as your 90 yo neighbor, I think its fabulous. Use it or lose it, why imagine one's older years as frail and infirm? No thinks! The more you do the more you CAN do. 😉
Awesome vlog - a jam packed weekend doing all the bits and bob's and thing- a-me's. Where I come from fencing nails are known as staples and new camera works a treat. You are a very kind neighbour🤗
So glad you gave yourself a voice on your not-a-vlog because you were otherwise just one of the mostly silent guys helping out at 🏰Dan's chateau. You're too good doing odd jobs for your neighbor. 🐮 Has he no family nearby? Well, carry on and enjoy your night out!
Oh my goodness, that blue fence pounder reminded me of when we installed our fence for our Highland cows 9 years ago. Since then, we came up with an easier solution. You drive your tractor up to the post and use the bottom, centre part of the tractor bucket to pound your post (start slowly with little taps so you know that you are centered on the post - then give it a few good wacks). I also forgot that you guys have already put the clocks back over there - ours go back next Sunday. Thanks for the enjoyable vlogs dear Brian.
OMG…you had me laughing out loud at the pig on steroids! 😂 🐖 you’re too funny Brian! I was just taking a break from doing garden stuff myself, warm and beautiful here in San Diego! If that’s “your neighborhood” wow, what views, your 90yr old neighbor keeps going cause he stays active! My goal in life as well! I’m a big DIYer! Saves money, my dad, brothers taught me well, actually RUclips taught me more! 🤣 Relax while camping, are the stars bright, camera looks good, thanks for sharing and bringing up the learning curve! Never-ever stop learning! ☺️
For anyone wondering, large boars are around the size of black bears. Comparatively, black bears are about half the size of a grizzly bear (by weight), and around a quarter to a fifth the size of polar bears (by weight). A large boar runs around 135kg (around 300lbs) and a meter (a bit over 3 feet) tall at the shoulder.
I can appreciate why you love living in rural France, with such glorious countryside. Opening shot so atmospheric. I think the new camera had made a big difference Brian, much clearer picture & better sound. Thank you for another lovely gentle weekend 😊
San Angelo digging bar in the States. And if your tractor has a bucket you can use that to drive the post. Fencing pliers are a wonderful thing. You can grab the curved part of the staple with them and rock it onto the tip to pull it out. Hammer the flat part to close the clincher around the staple if needed.
Ha ha, you’re just going back to ‘normal’ time and here in Australia half of the country has put their clocks on an hour! I’m in Queensland and we don’t do it! Makes for interesting times trying to figure out the best time to call family and businesses in other states. Also Adelaide and Perth are both on different time zones! Love your vlog Brian, it’s so relaxing. Don’t forget your mum wants a bookcase and a dresser. Please take us with you when shopping. ❤❤😊
We all need a Brian in our lives!😀
We could only be so fortunate !
Looks like the rest of us remembered the bookcase. Whenever you forget your shopping list, you should just ask the three of us 🤷😊
😁👏

Yes I was saying a bookcase enjoy camping while weather ok
Yes definitely a bookcase along with a dresser!
A lovely look at your whereabouts. Good morning. ⭐️👋
Brian you are such a fantastic neighbor. If your neighbor sits he dies. The farm keeps him alive.
Wow! That opening shot of the countryside dawning with all that fog in the valleys, sooooo beautiful!😊
It's very kind of you to help your neighbor, although, nobody would have imagined you'd do otherwise. Thank you for such positive... dare I say 'normal'?... content from your corner of the world.
Perfect chat again Brian! Thanks for taking us along with you on a Sunday car ride.
Love the opening drone shots and music choices ❤❤❤❤❤Glad your car passed. Your neighbor is lucky to have you around. Thanks for taking us along. Great new camera and sound 😍😘
This was a very enjoyable video, and thank you for taking us with you.❤
I love that you value older things, cars bikes etc. You're a great neighbour Brian, I wish you lived next door to me 😜!
I could listen to you talk all day. Love an Irish accent. Great vlog, keep them coming.
That opening scene caused an audible gasp from me. Dreamy!!
good footage and sound with the new camera ! its doing well ! everything is top 👍
When you were going to visit your mum, she wanted a dresser and a bookcase.
They do the same thing here in the USA! Some states are more strict than others, like California! Glad your car passed..😅
Thanks for another great video, Brian. Looks like you had a very busy, productive day and glad your car passed the test.

another bril brianvlog, the 31 people 🤪🤪 watching are loving this! 😁🎉🎉
dresser and bookshelf you were looking for btw 😊
Thanks for the laughs AND the lesson in fence post fix’n. Have a good sleep.
Your opening scenes remind me of Dan's beginning when he drove the green van down rural roads with the drone.
Green van memories! 😊
You have a nice life in rural France. It is nice that you don’t over extend yourself so you can deal with things as they arise and do as you wish when you like.
You make me laugh, Mr Brian ....... great as usual! Thank you 😃
The tripod is a great idea. A lot of storm chasers I see use it that way too!❤

We call those fencing staples in the US. Never knew you could straighten the bloody things. That is a game changer.
They are shaped that way to make them harder to pull out, straightening them defeats this purpose
