Sorry for the green flashes folks. Don't know what the craic is with that 🤨 I'll consult my production team (Dan and Nic) tomorrow and sort it. Probably some setting to change or something 🙄 (Could be the fairies...) Anyway hope it didn't ruin it for you! B
Loving the production team 😂 I knoooow that feeling when you can’t find things you just used 🤣😩 my brain is fog because I’m old now … not sure what you’re all excuses are … But if all else fails….Blame the puppy!!! 😊 ❤❤❤❤
Not sure if you know this Brian, but I believe there is a requirement for a daily joke and a daily puppy cuddle in the fine print of your RUclips contract. I could listen to you talk for hours and your walks through the villages are lovely.
Brian, your vlog has become my refuge from the pure ugliness, insanity and anxiety of American politics right now. So thank you for such a serene respite.
I love your daily vlogs but couldn't help laugh when you said "just look at this view" & we heard Nick shoot back immediately with "All I can see is OSB!" 🤣 xx
There is something special about your Vlogs Brian. I think it is a combination of you, an Irish accent, great chats, French countryside, fabulous music. Very relaxing, very well put together. Congrats Brian on a great channel.
Departement Creuse Brian, you're right smack in the middle of France. What a perfect setup. If you carry on with your brilliant vlogs, the departement should pay you for bringing in the tourists, us 33.700 are al ready for coming. Cheers!
Brian I am from and live in the USA and I have known about the origin of Halloween and all about the Irish origins but to hear a true Irish person tell about is absolutely marvelous thank you
Loved the coffee and talk. The view from the top of the tower was gorgeous. I'm glad the weather is cooperating. Thanks Brian. Another day in paradise.
Hello Brian, it's very nice to see you and share your experiencing in life. I'd like to comment on your choice of musical accompaniment. It's perfect! Thank you! and take good care!
Today i took you out to coffee with me in my local ‘village’ on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia. Enjoyed my long black and blueberry danish while laughing aloud at your stories. Hope you enjoyed it as much as i do when you take me to the cafe in France.😉
That new camera is excellent…we could even see a cobweb fluttering in the breeze, right at the end. Good decision to buy it - hopefully it’s making the vlog easier for you. I’m one of the 33…😊
St. Leonard de Noblat - a specially lovely town with half-timbered houses. Has a great market. Loved to hear about the Tuatha de Dananain and Oiche Shamhna.
Love the little Irish history on Hallowe'en. I'll check out the Blind Boy Boat guy - I'm a big fan of podcasts. Great views from the top of the château, Brian.
Another great vlog and music 🎶 Your egging the van up the hills is hilarious 😂😂... and becoming Brian The Iceman ❄ while driving the said van 😂😂... much needed coffee to thaw! 🎊 Stunning town & shops & architecture & church Saint Leonard is fascinating 🎉🎉... French life seems to be Superb 🎊 epic views too
Brian ... I looked up some history of Saint-Leonard ....and being a biker you may be interested to know that this town is where a famous French cyclist retired ...... Raymond Poulidor Alan Boston
Hello lovely man 😍 . Nothing can mess up your video clips with you in it 😊 . Love the storytelling with the Irish mythology I always find stories like that very interesting. Love the little town my kind of place for sure, I love it with hardly any people around best time to be out & about . Thy church is huge compared to the size of you walking around . I'd love to be their and hang out with you it would be a laugh 😅 o and the travelling around the place and even hanging out with you with Nick & Dan you all seem like a great bunch to have a laugh with .I'm a happy go lucky, laughing NZ girl . See you again. 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘.
Really nice video, Brian. Was sipping on a coffee myself during your story. I love when you share the beauty of the buildings...inside and out. Much appreciated. I especially like your choice of music. Perfect. See you later.
I had an Old Ford Popular that required a run up hills, otherwise it slowed right down. When I eventually sold it there was a hole in the radiator and where the front passenger put their feet. In the winter I had to hit the starter motor with an iron rod. The kids these days have no idea of the fun we had back in the day.😅
I absolutely loved the origins of Samhain/Halloween and my heart actually jumped for joy when I heard you pronounce Samhain!! I have had many of heated debates over the pronunciation!!!! I’ll be checking out the podcast you mentioned, I love hearing Irish folk lore. My granny was half Irish and half Dutch, and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, USA. I’m very much drawn to the Irish/Celtic folklore.
When I saw how the light enters the top of the chapel I have to think of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Place everybody should visit to see. Thanks Brian! I like the positive Energy! 👍🏻
Hey Brian, thanks for going into that lovely Romanesque church. So much beautiful stone. That idea of little shops on the ground floor and apartments up above, is very... Roman. So not exactly a new idea as you so rightly thought. Yes, that is an exquisite view, a person wouldn't get tired of that for quite some time.
Doesn’t it amaze you ,how those beautiful churches were ever built. They had no modern lifting tools etc ,but they are still standing, incredible. Lovely spending time with you again. By the way ,coffee was good today lol🤗
As a retired carpenter & joiner I keep finding I'm forever tilting my screen to try to check out your work. I'm looking forward to when you get one of those cameras that film in 360 ° so we can scroll around. I'm sure you're tech savvy enough😉
Stay warm, bring on the good coffee … because you have a chateau to help build 😉 and every good chateau build in France needs a good cup of coffee and some Irish sensibility
I’ll have a look for that podcast, always wanting to learn more about the Irish stories ( my ancestry) totally fascinating. Thank you for sharing and showing another beautiful part of France.
Oooooo! Thank you Brian! I absolutely love the Irish history of Samhain, and the Tuatha de Danann this American girl has loads of books on them and lots of Leprechauns too I only collect the statues of them on my birth 3/17. Lol
Great video, Brian! I was enjoying with my tea while watching you. I Thank you for that! Your choice of music really adds to the atmosphere-it's perfect. I really love your music selections! Just take your time with the camera. Keep up the wonderful work. Looking forward to your next video!
LOOOOVE your reference to San Andreas! Grew up in San Francisco - The Land of the Earthquake, but I just love listening to you chat to us. And YES! I had a truck that I literally had to get a huge running start to get up the hills in San Francisco. Good Times! Your new camera is awesome, too. The clarity makes a ton of difference.
Hello, here is an old English refugee living in France forever. Just wanted to say I enjoy your green flashes…makes me realise I’m not the only person that can’t master video making. You are an inspiration…making amateur videos that are mysteriously successful! No….I am not jealous.
Lovely town, lovely weather, lovely scenery. 👍 You don’t have to cut yourself off when you’re talking about stuff - you have interesting things to say! Definitely will cat that podcast. At university (night classes, probably close to 40 years ago now, hopefully not repeating this story), my sister and I took a Celtic history and legends class, just for fun. We didn’t know at the time that the professor was really famous. But he was so very enthusiastic and told the history and explained the connections so well, that it’s definitely the best class I’ve ever taken in my life. I can’t remember why we decided to take it - we’re not at all Celtic (unless by Viking invasion, on Mom’s side). I assume that he wrote the course description so well that we were hooked. 🙂❤️
Hi Brian, thank goodness you found a decent cup of coffee in that beautiful little town, because the cups at the chateau is in dire need of a scrub!🤣 What amazing architecture in that town, just gorgeous! Not to diminish the views from the turret at the chateau, exquisite! Well, thanks for the site seeing drive, have a good one!
Sorry for the green flashes folks.

You haven’t been strimming hawthorns for your neighbour, have you Brian?
Like the Fairies idea!😂
Funny how it was happening just as you telling us about the “world beyond our world” . . . The veil. . . . Ooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooo
i thought it is my graphic card in my pc ! 😂🤣
Loving the production team 😂

I find Brian talking so cathartic ❤️
Brian, your vlog has become my refuge from the pure ugliness, insanity and anxiety of American politics right now. So thank you for such a serene respite.

Totally agree! And if it doesn't go my way that 65,000 € property you shared with us might be a really great escape!!!
Me, too! But fortunately, I am already living in France.
La France pense à vous , l'anxiété est ici aussi parfois. We hope the best for you. Sylvie
