USC offense Clicking with new QB Maiava Sustaining drives n giving his defense much needed rests Maiava shook off his 1st game jitters, excited to watch him grow and improve ✌✌
Count on SC to play run poorly and UCLA be in the game in Q4. There is no explaining how terrible SC has played and been such a disappointment - again - in 2024. Don't expect 2025 to be an improvement year - never happens in over 14 years.
Bench Jayden Maiava for Miller Moss. Jayden Maiava throws to many interceptions and fumbles the ball, put in Miller Moss. UCLA Bruins will beat the USC Trojans at the Rose Bowl and keep the Victory Bell in Westwood.
Yeah he had 2 turnovers but he also had 3 passing TDs and a rushing TD. When did Moss do that? Moss wasn’t the issue this year, Riley is. Either because he couldn’t or wouldn’t adapt the game plan to Moss’s strengths, or because he refused to adapt and tap the run game. You can’t win throwing 50 times with a guy with mediocre arm strength and who cannot sell the RPO. I can see Moss succeeding in a Michigan or similar offense, but I digress. The reason Jayden needs to start is that with a true dual-threat QB with a live arm, the RPO, Riley’s bread and butter, means SC will actually run the ball close to a 50% clip. Riley proved over most the season he would allow Moss to throw 50 times a game, to our detriment. Any decision that gets Riley to call a more balanced offense that features near to, or over, 50% run calls with backs like Marks and Joyner, plus a line that’s clearly better at run blocking than passing is the key to winning all these close games. It’s not a coincidence that this year is the first ever for Riley as a playcaller/head coach that he hasn’t had a top 10 offense. He’s incapable of running an elite offense with a guy that isn’t at least marginally mobile. Blame Riley for Moss’s failures.
First time seeing this, awesome podcast, great preview!
Cody needs to be our play caller.
At minimum somewhere on staff man lol

Yes indeed. USC Football 🏈
Thanks 😊
Game on at 10:30pm so probably not watching. I will record. Watch on Sunday. Hate these late games.
I will go Live in Westwood and be around at UCLA all the time and I will go on the UCLA campus and meet the football players.
That Washington loss was on Riley in my opinion. Very bad game plan.
Ucla's defense ranks better than USC this year without Lynn & Ramsey. . . . . . .
How much money did the NCAA MAKE ON U

@@jayrod1980 Well said. I think Riley is not a great OC, but he called his best game last week.
