I’d pick UCLA against Washington on Friday night, but that cold rain has me thinking otherwise.

Maybe Carol Folt can go work at Alabama and change it from “roll tide“ to low tide. Change and get rid of Fight On!? Are you kidding me?

I look at this way, we need both LA schools to do well in this new conference. I think both Southern California schools have suffered from in state recruiting. It's needs both to pick up where their losing recruiting to Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon and Alabama and even to Louisville a couple of years ago but I think that had something to do with a NIl when it wasn't even legal but what ever. USC and UCLA both need to get there in state recruiting up and put a slow down on others taking our recruiting. It's getting down right pitiful to see, our recruiting by 78% leaving the state of California. So I am not hating on UCLA, I need both of them to do well, so we can show the B10, what it is like when you have both power houses up and playing LA football. Let's go LA we need you both to represent and then battle at the end, fight on, for Southern California football!!!

If someone could please inform Kartje - since the Times apparently has No Real Editors - that the words "to be" never follow any form of the word "deem," as Deem means "consider to be."
Times readers - especially Subscribers - should by rights expect Times stories to reflect at least basic English competence.

The UCLA defense is doing pretty well. It’s nowhere near as dominant as it was last year. Lynn’s departure has definitely had a negative effect.

That's funny because UCLA is statistically better than USC this year lol

@ I’m not arguing that. I said it’s nowhere near what UCLA’s elite defense was last year.

I don’t think there’s been any real drop off on DC, just roster talent is reduced in certain spots.
