    This build is interesting. I like the choice here to focus on the defensive. I see so many people focusing on the offensive and fair enough but maybe there's hidden value in that.

      I wanted to try push everything I could into benefitting the team. If there was a way to track the damage blocked by Shield of Contempt & Holy Cause that would be pretty cool to see. But it feels like it makes a difference when playing with randoms!

    Genuinely one of the best put together “build videos” I’ve seen. The tree at the start to get right to the info, a little blurb on why you made those choices and then actually getting to see the build played as intended.
    Truly you are blessed by the God-Emperor Himself!

    I haven’t used the flame thrower since the new skill tree updates and I’ve only tried one build with the flame grenades and the beacon of purity. I like good support builds with the classes especially when the team stays together. This build makes a lot of sense and looks like a lot of fun. I’ll be sure to try it.

    Have a crit bleed zealot that works amazing imo
    Use the 2h chainsword and laspistol, fire grenade, chorus, and fury crit keystone thing.
    Use the bash attack light combo and it kills everything but tanky guys lightning quick too. That’s when you use the rev attack.
    Then if there’s riflemen or machine gunners, specialists, etc. the laspistol melts them.
    If there’s a man down use chorus, if a horde of scary shit like maulers and beseekers toss a nade then use chorus to burn em all.
    It’s simple but effective and extremely versatile while still being mobile

    I have a 'bleed build' just like this, but with chastise + heavy chsword and lawbringer focused on critting with flechette

    • @TheWileSpice
      @TheWileSpice  10 месяцев назад +1

      Really going for those bleed stacks. How does it feel?

  • @thatguygrey
    @thatguygrey 6 месяцев назад +1

    spreading the word, Disdain is not a good perk. First hit gits no benefit, second hit gets 5%-25% damage depending on how many enemies you hit with the last hit, third hit gets no benefit, fourth hit gets 5%-25% damage and so on and so forth. There isn't anything really in that tree that's worth dipping into for so just drop Disdain for anything else.

    Chainsword? Not Evis? I cant get rid of my evis. Same thing? or stick with bleed damage on evisc?

    • @TheWileSpice
      @TheWileSpice  10 месяцев назад

      Hmm, I might opt for Shred & Wrath in the case of the Eviscerator for this build specifically. But Bleed is very very good though. It might not make all that much difference though because of Blazing Piety. For this build I just wanted to focus on critting as much as possible to get the Ultimate back up asap, keep the damage reduction up & proc'ing the cleave with Devastating Strike on the normal Chain Sword.

      @@TheWileSpice Alright. Does the update do much to change the build at all or is it still pretty much the same?

  • @Lewlew97
    @Lewlew97 10 месяцев назад +2

    Hey great vid. You should try the Accatran mk 2 lasgun again since it's been buffed, see if it's still the worst.

      Thank you! It's definitely on the cards to come in due time! On first thoughts, I think I'm going to be pleased with the outcome of the buffs.

  • @Inquisitor_Vex

    Could I run this build with the heavy executioner chainsword and a boltgun/bolt pistol?
    The executioner should have all the same traits as the chainsword in terms of stacking crits, right?
    Does the flamer stack crits through rate of fire, since it’s a constant torrent?

    • @TheWileSpice
      @TheWileSpice  Месяц назад +1

      It should work with any melee that can build full crit! Though I don't believe it works with ranged crits, might be totally wrong though.

    • @Inquisitor_Vex
      @Inquisitor_Vex Месяц назад

      @@TheWileSpice the eviscerator works fine. Still not sure about ranged attacks myself but I barely use the boltgun unless it’s on the big beasties anyway.
      Super fun build btw. Just watching the ability cooldown chunk up every time I swing the sword is nuts.
      I think I’m going to tweet it and take the +2 wounds instead of the +50% damage reduction on the right hand path because I’m still new-ish. Only lvl 28 with my zealot main and no decent trinkets with + wounds on, so I feel like I need that durability for the heresy missions.
      Not even attempted a damnation mission yet.

    Why the Chainsword is it better than a Eviscerator ?

    • @TheWileSpice
      @TheWileSpice  10 месяцев назад +1

      You can pull off more crits with the Chain Sword to get the cooldown on the Ultimate going faster. The Chain Sword also has a crit cleave blessing Devastating Strike which synergises amazingly & its just a bit more nimble to use. Can switch out for the Eviscerator though.

      As long as its built for crits, it should do. Although this build may be out-dated.

      Facts. Veteran is already stupid strong, so is Zealot. Honestly, Psyker needs heavy overhauling and should be second only to the Veteran on dealing ranged damage.

    I personally did a build like this except I dumped the middle blitz to go down the right blitz and then head into the left aura, going down into burning piety
    Edit: this keeps me tanky, keeps my ability up, helps me crit plenty, and lets me be a knife throwing, revolver wielding, chain sword swinging support

    • @TheWileSpice
      @TheWileSpice  10 месяцев назад +2

      Knife throwing is a lot of fun tbf. Though I think he immolation grenade is very under rated!
      Revolver is insanely strong at the moment as well so sounds a good build to me.

    • @tannerpetra7598
      @tannerpetra7598 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@TheWileSpice I started with the grenade because it was originally a fire enthusiast support. I used the immolation for helping secure revives and extra horde clear (I'm fairly new so I haven't reached the auric, but I'm still loving the experience even if I'm playing on an Xbox 1S using cloud play[it's buggy, but it saves money.] and not the newconsole as intended)
