Yup, You actually had to go OUT with your friends to socialize and go to the record and video stores to get your media. The only people I knew with car-phones were Real Estate agents (my friend's dad) LOL. Fun times. Listening to all this great music takes me back to those times. Half a century old now but no regrets.

💃That body and that voice. Sheena Easton is a true talent. Noticed that no one in this music video has no plastic surgery, no lip injections, no Brazilian butt lifts🍑no over the top breast implants. The 1980’s it was a magical time in pop culture and in music.

Loved this song and I actually had that SAME black two piece outfit that I'd wear out to the bars with a tight body & confidence of the 24 year-old that I was. Oh, to be young in the 80s one more time. Simply sublime!

I just figured out what's wrong with music of today. L.A. Reid & Babyface produced music like this Sheena Easton song isn't around like it used to be. Back in the day there was a lot of great music because producers L.A. Reid & Babyface were everywhere, but not so much today...and as a result, most music today sucks. I also miss Janet Jackson and her producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Janet and her producers created some excellent music back in the day. And of course...the great Michael Jackson and his producer Quincy Jones...they were the masters back in the day. Music producers like L.A. Reid & Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and Quincy Jones are sorely missed from today's music scene.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis toured with Prince so he is def a huge part of it- more so than I knew and Quincy Jones has been around since the 70's- David Crosby hailed him as a genius!!! Q has put so many people on the map- brilliant producer!!!

Wasnt LA Reid also managing TLC- I know they had a huge falling out with Pebbles and she was married to Reid- I think TLC wanted to do some things on their own and Pebbles wouldnt let them- said it was bad for their image. I remember reading something about how many acts got a royal screw with their songwriting royalities and concert performance profits! I know today there is much more protection for the artist now then in the 80's. Many of those bands that where HOT in terms of their pop were dirt poor yet 3/4 of the year where out on tour. Bad business contracts!!
