Top 10/10 Hidden Gem Underrated Masterpiece Fragrances

- So this one is just what the name says really. There are a lot of fragrances, generally non PR ones that never get spoken about. I think there's a good mix and some indie in there. I think to be honest alot of the "hyped" ones tend to be a let down too.
So a "masterpiece" to me is of course subjective, but I basically mean something that stands out and wows me. Something that makes me feel something or is the most incredible of it's type if it's not fantastically unique.
What is your "hidden" masterpiece fragrance? Do you enjoy any of these? What is a masterpiece to you.

Yes OWB are some of the most incredible fragrances about. He's my sisters dog who I kidnap often to take out 🤣 Yes I love the daft little bugger

I liked what you had to say about masterpieces. I have a handful of fragrances in my collection that when I smell them they just send me, they blow me away every time. None of them are popular or hyped or whatever, but to me I can't get my head round how good they smell to me and how they make me feel. And for that, to me, yes, they are masterpieces.
Yes I think that's all the matters. The Mona Lisa is just a tiny painting of a strange looking lass to some and to others a masterpiece, telling us that it is doesn't make it one. Same with fragrances, it's over used by influencers. They never tell us why or where the fragrance takes them or how they feel.
@@scentedsnowdrops yes you are right there. I can't be bothered watching those anymore, just words for whatever reason, likes, clicks, blah blah. I want to know where it takes you. If they can take me there with them then even better.
And yes 10 out of 10 perfumes. I have just been thinking I don't even want to own anymore anything unless it hits at least 8 or 8.5. Many of mine are 9s and a few are 10s
@ems_h.eartnotes yes 😊 that's where we get sane isn't it. We don't want average fragrances anymore, we want to really enjoy them
@@scentedsnowdrops I've got more like this in many areas as I have gotten older. I want the comfiest shoes, the perfect shampoo that cleans my hair wonderfully every time, the t shirt that is cut right and washes great time after time. A lot of it is sensorial for me, but also I just can't be arsed anymore with things being ok for a bit if I have spent my money on them. Especially in this throwaway society, I want good quality, properly made stuff

I don't know what the new one is like but the old version is just absolutely one of the best, it's so realistic

These choices are very you, which is exactly what a masterpiece should be. Any time you describe animalic notes, I love it 😂 This looks so warm and sunny 😎
Imperial Tea... I'm scared to smell the new one. The old one is stunning. Violet Nerre has grown on me a lot, weirdly it makes me think of dilute fruit juices healthfood drinks at points... No idea why 😂

Hi Jon, I love a little clickbait 👀I want to try Mabelle O'Rama since Claire mentioned Lunar Dust, and this one sounds good, too. They answered my not at all desperate query to say they're planning a US retailer or something. And 3 Amouage?! 😂(I'm teasing) I didn't know labdimum (sp?) could give a leather note. The Mabelle O Rama ones are both incredible. I can see Mabelle being massive. Yes hopefully they get to America. Haha 😂 yes three Amouage 🙊 I think I might be a fan 😉 😂. Yes to me labdanum definetly feels leathery, but I'm defo no expert 😜. We so far apart from a couple of days have escaped the main heat. I do feel for you. Thanks for watching 😊

I have a recommendation for you.. even if it turns out to be nothing you‘d be interested in buying I thought I‘d give it a try because I found myself utterly in love with her stuff the more I get to try.. like really not love more like overall aesthetic. She‘s making mostly whimsical, gothic, witchy themed scents (so that (at least) should be right up your alley), also she‘s located at the UK and uses stricktly organic and vegan ingredients.. she‘s also making new releases every season/ Wheel of the Year „chapter“, often based on pargan festivies. Only „downside“ is she‘s making roller-balls and solide perfumes only. I already tried A LOT of her things and besides one or two (strictly out of personal preferances) all of them were divine! I mean „eye rolling back into my head“ kinda good! ALSO I found one featuring wild bluebell 💜.. and if that‘s not convincing you.. she combined it with sweet peach juice and styrax benzoin in the base. Haven‘t tried it myself yet, but it‘s definitely going to make it‘s way into my next order. I‘m gonna stop it there or else I‘m going to fangirl myself into oblivion. Right... I looked and yes though I'm not a rollerball lover 🤣 you know me well I am interested and remind me at the end of this month when I have pennies and I'll get a couple to try.
