- So yeah, this is obviously click-baity and unoriginal. I don't think I've done it before? Maybe I have? There's so many videos. It's a bit boring to be fair.
So aye, I don't need loads of waffle. I'm not gonna go, do these people influence me to go out and crazy blind buy? Well no, maybe very early on but now I mainly sample and if someone mentions something I like the sound of then I'll sample it. Also I do like to watch videos of things I've got to see what they think. These are all people I've watched alot over the years and some have become great friends and that's all it's about.
So aye, has anyone "influenced" you? Do you still watch your old faves? Who is your favourite? Nobody should answer that 🤣.

Ooh I agree... Rahul is such an incredible, fabulous interviewer! He has such a soft soul and he really brings out the warm and squishy side of his guests and just generally seems to put everyone at ease. You can tell he is a genuine, kind, nice and smart guy.
I also miss Tara too, I had only just found her channel before she stopped posting. It's nice to hear she is doing well.
Nigel must have left before I arrived, he sounds lovely, but I have never come across his channel

I find influencers super helpful! I live in a perfume desert so to speak & wouldn’t have a clue what’s out there or what I might like without hearing about them from others. We finally got a Sephora the next town over, so now I can sniff some for myself-before literally everything had to be a blind buy so real reviews & discussions like yours are super helpful to lots of people out there I’m sure!💗
Thank you 😊 I do appreciate that. And yes it's the same for me here, I live in a very smell out there place in the UK. My nearest city has one or two perfume shops now thankfully. Yea I get what you mean, watching lots of different folks can be a a big help when we can't always get out to sniff

Noir de Noir is such a blooming special one. Definitely one of the best there's been. You have been a huge influence with so many of my fragrances over the years 😊.

You „influenced“ me to buy Tom Ford‘s Noir de Noir.. or at least intrigued me about it. I sampled first and bought the bottle a few days after receiving the sample 🥴😄 because it‘s that gooooood 😮💨! For a great price though! It‘s so comforting but alluring at the same time. ❤️🔥🥀🦇
Yesssssss it is just one of the absolute best fragrances ever I think. There's nothing quite line it. Good buy 😊. Glad you sampled it first too 🤣. Yea not everything works on us. But now you have the best one to be Dracula for a day 😂
Mr Jon Snow you are an absolute legend 😄For me to be mentioned in the same breath as some of these great RUclipsrs is an honour. I do have to say i look back at those times with a great fondness and the interview with you is right up there with one of the best things I did on youtube , it’s hard to explain but that night you talking about your problems and troubles produced an atmosphere that only comes around once in a blue moon, I think the topic actually got to a lot of people to realise it’s good to talk and not to be ashamed and in some sort of funny way seemed to open a door for others to continue the topic into their videos. That live I still think about and I’m so proud that you opened up and trusted me and our regular viewers to share with us what must have been so so difficult for you to do.I do still wear Lady ga ga haha (my beloved Lime)but I have moved on quite a lot of my fragrances , not because I no longer love fragrances but just because I only want to wear the ones I truly love. I don’t see a comeback on the cards, youtube has changed a lot since those great days, and I don’t think they will ever be bettered, I feel so lucky to have been apart of that great era.I still check in on RUclips occasionally and yes your 1 I do keep an eye open for👍. Although it's sad to us all I do understand exactly what you mean. It's now an advertising community, there isn't much left in the way of the love and passion for fragrance there was in our day. There's some new fantastic folks all the time, but it's a rare thing now.
I was very honoured to be amongst the true legends you had on there Nigel. I think I can speak for every single one of us we all looked up to you. And yes appreciate that golden age. As far as the actual interview, yes that was down to your warmth and being you. There certainly isn't anything ever wrong with not being ok, especially for us fellas and to just talk, we're never the only ones.
Nige I couldn't be anyone but me 🤣 I love just talking endlessly, if anyone watches it's a bonus 😜.
And yes Eau de Gaga still sits in my collection and always will. I think whenever any of us smell lime we think it's for u 🤣

@@roseandjones8390 I must admit watching Jon’s video I felt a sense of loss, something that was so good, yet no longer(for me anyway) I know everything evolves and moves on, but I ain’t lying when I say I loved every minute of it especially being a part of something. I know we were all quite small fry in the grand theme of things , but I felt a part of something and although never met any of our little group I still classed you all as friends 🥲. I will always remember my time on RUclips as a happy time in my life, with all the troubles happening around us at that time youtube was a safe and enjoyable space and it’s a time I’ll never forget and that’s about the people rather than the platform .🥰🙏🏻🫡

I just watched an older video of Claire's and she talks about Guerlain Black Perfecto 🖤 This is a fun video for a newbie like me. Besides Claire, I also know Rose and Jones 👍You all have so much combined expereince! I love seeing your walk green up. The opposite is happening here lol.
They are the masters and I'm the pupil I think for sure. What Lizzie Rose and Jones said to me about the crazy mix of people and tastes that I've always watched has definitely had a massive effect on me and my tastes.

@PG-wz7by erm where I am in the UK I'm next to the North Sea so yea we get lots of wind and rain. Not usually more than a week or two of hot weather

Trying to think if anyone other than you, Lizzie, Dr Claire and Smurfy Claire have influenced me to buy anything. Maybe Sebastian, Sam and Clémence? Oh and definitely Kay, I bought two bottles off the back of samples she sent me.
I'm usually influenced to try a brand by way of a discovery set, or get a few particular samples. I've not actually just gone and ordered a bottle blind just because someone else liked it. More often than not one of you guys has sent me a sample 🤗
Yes same for me, it's the sampling from our fab friends isn't it. It definitely encourages us.

@@scentedsnowdrops I think you can be fairly ok to blind buy from the brands you know and love like Amouage, April, One Way Bridge and things like that. I have a few brands that I gravitate towards for sure
