I loved the 4 As of feedback. So many people struggle with both giving and receiving feedback that a framework like that can be very helpful!

I can’t believe she referenced Netflix as a shining example of business excellence, and as a model to aspire to. Like Disney, they’re now going broke thanks to going woke - probably due in part to this line of thinking.

I think at the time when this interview was recorded, going "woke" was the "in-thing". I read about Netflix "Powerful - Building a Culture of Freedom and Responsibility", and right after that I read Satya Nadela's "Hit Refresh". Massive difference in approach. And as it has been, we can see where each company stands today.

Companies obsessed with building so called corporate culture instead of focusing to provide goods and services at competitive prices for their customers ain’t gonna last long.

Hire, develop, support skilled workers...Value them. ---> They value, support, and care for your customers. Inside --> Out
