Recently I experienced something with my particular kit that caused issues with my BMW E90 335i. In this video I will not only address the issue but also show you the fix going forward.

I know how problems can crop up when you least expect it. My car developed a misfire in cylinder 3 after work one day and it was spark related. Spark Plug and coil pack were not to blame, so it is going to the shop next week for a diagnose and hopefully a solution. Great video Cristian and keep at it Brother! 👍

Injector probably, pull plug and if it’s black car has been over fueling, if it runs rough in mornings could be excess fuel leaked past over night

Walton kit. Expensive but there’s a few known cars running the Walton single kit in the uk and they’re generally good.
Wait I have a top mount turbo kit with my E90 335i, it stalls randomly and sometimes doesn’t die and will throw misfire codes aswell. This the same issue?

Great video and always live your content. That said I don't see how to justify spending more than half the price of the car on that turbo kit. Doc race should lower the prices. Ebay turbos can make the same power or more and have come a long way. I seen someone with the doc kit and his manifold cracked also. Imo a waste of money.

NEED HELP, so I’ll start by saying Am always watching your videos and I gotta say by far the best content on these cars! So I have an 2012 740i with the N54…my turbos are leaking already so am thinking of going single turbo, the question is, Would the built components be different being that it’s a 7 series or is the same since it’s a N54 in it?!?
Should be same bro.
different components so check with kit manufacturer to make sure fitment is correct. or go pure stage 2 turbos
A single turbo can work for your car but it'll definitely need some slight modification which can be done by the shop that installs. Email us support@vehiclevirals.com if you have more questions.
First off, that's awesome you got one of those few 7 series with a n54 and you're modding it. Even less written on your car than my 535xi. Make sure you don't have ac lines, engine mount and brake/abs controller in the way like the e60s do. Either way it's doable just requires a lot of work before you can consider going single turbo. Good luck with your build.

Can you post some logs?? I also purchased the dr700 after your videos but pretty disappointed. I have v2 manifold with 6266gen 2(been waiting for 5 months now for external dump still no real eta...). Trying to compare logs. My kit is super laggy compared to the top mount.
U make me want a n54 335i and that says alot considering all I drive is toyotas or Hondas. But on the other hand soo many ppl tell me how unreliable the 335i is
I have one and it’s super reliable. Just keep up the proper maintenance. I had a boosted B18 and I love my 335i way more.
Unreliable because previous owners didnt do preventive maintenance. Once you get those ironed out, they are realiable. Im has been for the past 40k miles. Just hit 150k 7miles ago. 2008 135i with N54.
Yup they’re unreliable af lol I’ve had mine for over 8 years and I think its time to sell.

I’m sooo vexed, i paid $4800 for this kit, i have 3-4k miles on my kit and now i have to WAIT 4 weeks for a new manifold and also pay for installation, this is really some B.S

He got this car because it was a manual, I doubt he would go from the manual to a dct because it would decrease the value of the car.
@@tickandslug would it really decrease the value? DCT swaps are sought after also. 335is (335 with a dct) is double or more the value of a manual 335i.

Only reason I mentioned possibly getting a DCT swap was because I have little to no faith that the 6 speed on my car will survive with all the beating. Of course I much rather keep the 6 speed. LCI, Lemans Blue, N54, 6 speed manual = 🐐

Yes on everything but the turbo.

Whats better for a Daily? E92 or e93 i like the convertible better cous the line and the automatic droptop
If trunk space matters then the E92 but other than that its just a little extra weight, maybe like 1MPG difference

They posted on Facebook about helping everyone out that has a cracked manifold, assuming they are original buyer. If you're a second hand buyer then they charge you a discount for the cast version.
