- After a few years of gathering, here is a 8+ minute video clip of the VARIOUS special liveries that fly in and out of LAX. I have tons of other liveries.. that's to be continued. For now, enjoy and this is one of the reasons why LAX is one of the more popular destinations for spotters. Which livery do you like? I welcome all your comments.

Isn't it funny how all air lines are now starting to be bolder in their liveries. Thanks to NZ for breaking the mould and being innovative. I quite like seeing liveries with polar bears, whales etc putting their companies into the public arena. Kudos ANZ nice vid👍

So proud to call myself a kiwi and New Zealand my home... Naturally, I am rooting for AirNZ, with it's beautiful design and meaningful significance to our country that's so passionate about Rugby, amazing hospitality and the most friendliest people I know. And all this from a tiny little country in the pacific that not many people could really find on a map let alone know of its existence. Cool vid, I hope you can get the new 787-9 dreamliners and the rest off the fleet. One word, AMAZEBALLS!!!!
Great, from a guy on the opposite end of the planet, in Ireland,similar in ways to NZ passionate about Rugby too. Good scenery too. But of the airlines we have Aer Lingus and Ryanair - neither will ever have Airbus 380s nor Dreamliners. But the little planes get us off the island!!! and a few A330s get us across the Atlantic.

thank you! I love the special liveries, they are a lot of fun! But sometimes they don't make much sense: We flew to Alaska on "Pride of Hawai'i", and in this video it looks like the Salmon-Thirty-Salmon wasn't necessarily going to Alaska! Lol! It's hard to pick a favorite but I'm down to either the retro United, red, white, and blue or the Air New Zealand black

The 747-400 at 3:25 has the livery half Boeing and half china airlines for advertising purposes and/or to show the partnership between the two companies. Found it pretty cool..

I love the NY Jets team JetBlue jet seen taking off at around the 2:00 mark in the vid. They were probably leaving LAX following an NFL loss - although I'm puzzled as to why they flew out of Los Angeles. There currently are no teams in the LA area unless they had played against the SD Chargers, which is located 120 miles to the South. I take it that you're employed at LAX because I find it amazing that you were able to get so close to some of the jets seen taxing in this vid. Outstanding!

It's gotta be the All Blacks 77W! I also have to say that even though I don't usually get excited over 737s, the Alaska "Flying Salmon" is pretty cool too.

I flew in the WestJet cloud plane once. It was just a 737 with a cloudy livery on it. But then again, WestJet's official set of iMessage stickers has pictures of both Disney planes in WestJet's fleet!

great videos speed bird, it is very obvious that you have some great security clearances to be able to get that close to the aircraft, which by the way makes for great videos! I loved the retro united plane!

Awesome video! I got to see the All Blacks 777 on its maiden flight and is definitely my favorite! If you don't already, I might suggest a windscreen of some sort. I super-glued foam from a pillow to my camera and it reduced wind noise by 95%. It also seems to cut out other unwanted background noise a bit as well.
