  • First of all, I would like to thank my loyal subscribers and followers!!! You guys have been great and I thank you for both the positive and negative comments on my videos. It helps me improve my videos and even though I do not reply to most comments, I do read them. Sorry for this late video. May everyone be prosperous and healthy in 2017.
    Here is the video to take a look back of the highlights in 2016 through SpeedbirdHD's eyes. I know this video doesn't include all the aircraft that comes into LAX. Keep in mind, these are the highlights of 2016. The cover photo is Alaska's Boeing 100 livery. One hundred years ago, in 1916, William Boeing founded the Boeing Company. A company that survives 100 years and counting is doing something right.
    Again, thank you all for your enormous support and love for my RUclips channel. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion and hobby to the world.
    Peace and love, SpeedbirdHD (only on RUclips)
    Which is your favorite clip in this video?

    Thank you once again, Speedbird, for another excellent compilation! I don't know if I could pick a favorite clip. The retro liveries are great, as are the one-off liveries such as WestJet's 'Frozen'. I also like the Orbis aircraft, I guess probably more because of what the plane represents. I don't live in a large city served by international carriers, so it is great fun to watch them all in your videos. I always look forward to your latest videos. Thank you so much!!

    An especially outstanding production! As always, rock steady, perfect frame composition. And no shaking and waving of the camera. I must assume you make full use of the tripod and steady cam. Thanks for all you do.

    Why do Chinese airlines all seem to operate American or European built airliners? Do they not make airliners or are they just not certified to fly international routes?

    • @karlosbricks2413
      @karlosbricks2413 6 лет назад

      they don't really make anything, in the 80s they made(under strict communism) something akin to a 707 or Dc-8 , and more recently, there is all the hype about the C919 or ARJ21, but the C919 is like an a320 or 737, and the ARJ21(of which only on has been delivered) is basically an MD-80(literally companies that made parts for that supply the ARj21, so , as far as long haul, they pretty much have to operate Boeing or Airbus, although their freighter fleets do have some Russian stuff(Tu-204).
