JustPlanes spent a week filming at Los Angeles International Airport and collected an amazing 40 special airline color schemes! So many airlines take part of decorating their airplanes nowadays its an absolute pleasure for avgeeks alike, for us its a matter of trying to capture as many as possible. Some of the airlines with special colors on this video include Emirates, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest, Alaska Airlines, Westjet, Saudi Arabian, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Aeromexico, Air China, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, EVA Air, British Airways, Alitalia, Xiamen Airlines, Copa, Qantas.

The best livery thus far was Icelandair with its Aurora borealis theme. And some great livery is Frontier Airlines which is different kind of Animals theme from domestic in USA. That I've seen it on various channels.

Can someone explain to me what “Sky Team”, “Star Alliance”, and “One World” mean? I’m just wondering why they put it on international airlines and US airlines? What’s the meaning by putting it on the airlines when the airline itself already has a logo on it. For example, why didn’t they just put the full Delta logo at 2:39 or just leave it as Delta. Instead they have two logos. The Delta and Sky Team logo is what I mean. I seen it on many other aircrafts too. So what’s up with Sky Team, One World, and Star Alliance on the airline?
