I was driving home froma a half day of work on a Saturday. Was on my way to the record store. What CD shall i get? On comes Dear God, minutes from the store. I went in and bought Rarities and B-Sides and NEVER looked back. I've since seen her atleast 11 times live, though it's been a minute. I LOVE HER SO MUCH. She is amazing!!! This must have been 1996 ish i bet. Not sure but man i'm glad i've been on this journey with her and all of you!

Brandi's introduction made me immediately fall in love with Sarah McLachlan. I just want to thank Brandi for introducing Sarah. I want to thank Sarah for giving me great music. As my late wife's death anniversary approaches, Sarah must be a gift for me. Especially, Angel touched my heart deeply. I am so glad I was able to find Sarah's music after all these years. Thank you for sharing this video.

Sarah had with her long time guitarist Luke Doucet and part time backup vocals Melissa McCleland. Luke and Melissa are now Whitehorse and ... married since 2006.

Melissa !!! And her Husband Luke Doucet is playing guitar. They'e had solo careers but formed the band Whitehorse years ago. One of my fave bands ! Check out their music. It's so good ! Far ranging and eclectic styles but essentially rock with folk, blues, country , roots influences ! Leave no Bridge unburned is my fave album of theirs but they have a lot of great stuff

This was at the outdoor concert venue, The Gorge Amphitheater, in Washington State (George, Washington to be exact). It is one of the most popular outdoor concert venues (check out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gorge_Amphitheatre).

Considering that Brandi was the headliner, and Sarah was opening for her, I thought it was classy for Brandi to put the importance of Sarah and the Gorge into context for those (and there were many there) that didn't know the history. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the video though.
