If I'm in charge of producing The Grammy's, I am moving heaven and earth so that Brandi Carlile can keep doing this each year. There's a reason this is her fourth one in a row. So dang good.
Hard to get a standing O from that jaded music industry crowd, but they know when someone crushes a live performance! It’s like they nominate her every year now just to get another unforgettable jam for the telecast !
Brandi said, "Will I make that high octave change in front of all these people with these rainbow lights around me? Who knows, doing it anyway." AND SHE NAILED IT. GIIIIIIIIIIIIT IT!! ❤🏳️🌈
I know! I love that *YUUUGE* smile right after a performance… it almost looks like she’s thinking “I can’t believe I nailed that!” 🤭 Though everyone else already knew she would.☺️
It's so great to hear and see Brandi getting the recognition she deserves. She is such a great songwriter and singer. We need more music like this. It reminds me of singers like Joni Mitchell.
Imagine having these QUEENS, and legends introducing you!!!!! So well deserved though.. as Brandi is a legend in the making herself!!! Loved this song from day one! So glad to see it rise!!!!
17 years for me.🙌🏻 Honestly, I most Iove the early days of an artist's career BC once they get the fame and fortune and Hollywood handlers ...it's just not the same quality. The synth electronic AI transhaniam craps is infiltrating folk country roots music in heinous ways.
Allison Russell I have you to thank for being introduced to the amazingness that is Brandi Carlile. I'm looking forward to seeing her AND YOU, and The Indigo Girls in Columbia, Maryland in August, AND volunteering at the event to raise funds for Brandi's Looking Out Foundation. Just look for the super tall guy wearing a kilt and singing along to every song (in between the fundraising).
I had the privilege of seeing her live in an open concert arena a few years ago, along with Elle King, Heart, and Emmylou Harris and she Really stole the show, even though I'm a Huge Heart fan. It was one of the Best nights of my life! "The Story" is still my favorite song by her and was also the one that made me realize her talent and I've loved her ever since! She is Absolutely Amazing!
Seen her twice. She's beyond Amazing. One was in a small building and she did a lot of it acoustic. So glad to see how big she has become. She deserves it. She's beautiful with a beautiful soul.
@ CHARICKTER Agreed. Fell in love with her voice way back when her song " The Story" was used by Frontline ( I think) promotions. And her unique voice and musical talent still prevail in my heart to this day. Btw, my favorite male artist is the Kazakh Dimash Qudaibergen. So much to admire there!
@@MrsCrazyrange I get both sides of this. I think he's referring to mainstream music. Yes there will ALWAYS be great new music. But Brandi is one of the few great ones that still stays relevant in the mainstream somewhat.
I feel we're seeing a wave of female artist so Respectively boosting and holding each other up in the spotlight, and they're reaching across decades and so many boundaries to do it. They are burying the narrative of women artist being rivals all the time. It's great to see!❤
I so agree Jen. I saw Brandi a few years back. Chills every time I hear her. It was an outdoor concert, and the audience around me, mostly wonderful gals were just the nicest people to be around that evening. (I'm a gay guy, 71, there with my best female friend of 60 some odd years. On my bucket list.
I see Brandi in concert every time she's in California. Her vocals live are fantastic, and she has an astounding range and repertoire and makes it a point to support new artists. Just a phenomenal musician and singer/songwriter.
There have been, and there are, a lot of great singers throughout the World, and Brandi sits right in the front row alongside the greatest singers of all time!!!
What an amazing vocalist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of The Great talents of today . SHE should be WINNING BEST ALBUM of the year ! I must add she is such a gifted musician w/ piano , guitar, writing & vocals ⭐️ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
This amazing talent shows everyone what it means to give a live performance. So fortunate to have seen her in person in 2019 at Madison Square Garden. Always just amazing.
I'm glad that Brandi is going to be around for a long long looooooong time. She has proven herself and has paid her dues. She's amazing and has such an amazing soulfulness to her.
I am in awe of her gorgeous voice....so powerful, yet vulnerable and emotional 💖 I get the chills every time I hear her lovely voice . She's definitely an amazing artist and it doesn't hurt that she's also a good person who puts her money, fame, and time into her non-profit Looking Out, helping marginalized people. Her song Broken Horses is my favorite song... 💙 ❤️ 💜 💚💛🧡❤️🏳️🌈
I love Brandi (and the twins) for a hundred reasons, I’m their #1 fan, but I’m so thankful for instrumental efforts to bring Joni out of retirement and sung my favorite song of all time, Both Sides Now.
No one can make the tears roll quite like you can Brandi. My God, you have such a beautiful soul that just pours from your amazing vocals. What a gift to all of us on Earth you are. I hope my daughters and granddaughters grow to listen and release their innermost deepest tears to your songs the way I do. It's so cathartic and just makes you feel... just makes you feel everything. Thank you so much for sharing your music with all of us. ✌🏼❤🎼
Brandi, you have a way of making anything you sing seem like it's the greatest song in the world. How do you do that? I am guessing it must somehow be in the belief by you that for that moment you are singing it, that it is! Keep being a superb human being🫶🎶💕
Co-authored by Brandi Marie Carlile and her longtime collaborators, Tim and Phil Hanseroth, “Right On Time” (2021) finds the singer pleading with someone close to her for a reconciliation after a quarrel. However, in the chorus, Carlile reveals she doesn’t regret their heated exchange, because she’s kept quiet for far too long. For her, the release of the pent-up emotions came “right in time.” Actress Courteney Cox directed the music video (her first ever). The clip begins with Carlile on stage at the end of a concert. As she exits backstage, she finds herself separated by glass from other people going about their lives. The American songstress stated : “I feel seen by Courteney. I don’t feel like ‘Brandi Carlile’ with her, I feel like Brandi. That’s why the video spoke to me. I knew she was just seeing something about who I am and why I wrote that song that I didn’t expect anyone to see.” Miss Carlile achieved a memorable performance of “Right On Time” at the Grammy Awards ceremony in 2022. She was introduced by her idol, Joni Mitchell, who called Brandi “an extraordinary artist and beautiful human being, a stunning, brave and truthful voice”❕ WOW… DOUBLE-WOW… TRIPLE-WOW⁉️ 💚✨🩷
This is definitely one of my 3 Favorite performances at the Grammy Awards 2022! This performance is just hauntingly beautiful! The other one is Cold by Chris Stapleton and 3rd is Lady Gaga's tribute to Tony Bennett, a year before he had passed! What an unforgetable year!!
About time she's getting the recognition she deserves. Someday, when I can finally afford to get married, The Story is going to be my wedding song. Absolutely love the emotion that goes into her songs.
Heard this song on the radio and was instantly mesmerised. Came to watch it here and cannot stop rewatching. Can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this talent.
My Granddaughter says “I love this song and your beautiful voice, especially the rock and roll part of the song.” Violet is 7 and adores music of all kinds.
I love music, always have, and my favorite music is from the 60s. Big voices, heartfelt songs sung without a lot of mechanical help. I think that’s part of the reason I love Brandi, it’s HER voice not some electronic version of it.
Desde México ❤️ llevo años siguiendo su trayectoria desde "THE STORY " y verla en un escenario así cantando impecable y el finalizar con esa felicidad y sonrisa WOW se me herizo la piel. Esta canción ya es una de mis favoritas
I grew up seeing Elvis on TV until he died, and oh man, she looked like Elvis, a couple different times during that performance. CONGRADULATIONS, on the Grammy
I’m late hopping on the Brandi train, but damn I’m so happy to be on it.
Perfect voice for me. Clear, pure with grit, gravel, vibrato breaks that grab your heart!!! 💜
The way i am obsessed with this woman....She's magical

I love that and her voice! ❤ Thank you!
Thank you, @burroak96 🙏🏼 Her talent, passion, and poignant words are right on time.
Whatever it takes, heaven, earth, oceans, mountains…heck, stopping time should not be a deterrent. This woman is gold!

Wow .. Just Wow 💪💝👏💝👏💝💪
That high note resurrected my grandpa, thank you Brandi!
I heard that note "Live " this summer and it still gives me chills.
Prove it.

I love how excited she gets after nailing a song. Decorum, wait for the cameras to change? Nope. We’re all gonna celebrate RIGHT now!
She makes it look easy. But she works damn hard at her craft.

Better than Joni Mitchell
@@rickandteribedell4350 I won't argue that, but look how much better sound and instruments are. I would love to hear music from the 60's remastered.
So awesome! The words & singing amazing! Talented band! ❤

Two decade fan here. Saw her when no one knew her name. So happy for her success. Much love

"transhumanism" that is.⬆
One decade. But in fact her music took a littler longer to spill over to Europe. But then she hit us just as hard as she did to you in the US!
brandi and twins ...wonderful
Her high notes gives me chills. Song on repeat.
Brandi has the greatest voice ever...love her!!
