Ander was so happy when Guzman was with him in the hospital, and Polo only found peace when Guzman was able to forgive him. Ander is the only who always looked after Polo, and they really cared for each other, but the only two people that Polo really loved were Guzman and Carla. I don't know a lot about Ander's childhood but what the writters showed at first was that he and Guzman were so much closer than Ander and Polo.
