The camera work in this clip hopefully lead to at least a strong telling off. Watching the interior trim clips, and the strange filming of the car in that plaza, annoyed the hell out of me.
Luxury is what you do best? It sure as heck is NOT reliability!! I suppose if you have the money for this car, you have the money to pay for constant tows.

These Maybach's may be bargains by now with prices of some used examples being around 50 grand, but don't be fooled by the steeply low price as the maintenance costs are still pretty high.

Fine German engineering with a whopping big V12 engine, lots of gadgets and borrowed ideas from Rolls Royce cars. Another very conservative ordinary looking expensive car that will be worth half its price in 5 years time. I'm not negative. I just can't buy the crap the car industry is pushing at us when a cheap Japanese car offers so much for so little money, and then they throw in for free, dependability. Some of these new so called modern luxury cars today are very carefully craftered by Taylors for the new Emperors.
Rolls Royce Phantom VII is the answer Sir! People thought It was too much of an S Class for that amount of money, but what a car these Maybachs were! Unlike todays S Classes which have Maybachs as more expensive trim levels, utter shame.
@@davidvucina732 I was only talking about the resemblance here. Don't understand how stupid the world is to see any resemblance between this and the W220 S-Class.

JohnnyNr5 it’s a 17 year old episode. Give it a break. The early 2000s where a very different time.
Watching 240p in 480p
I can hear it depreciating from here.
Actually, because it is RARER, it depreciates LESS than a Phantom.
Blimey where did this guy go ?
There are a lot of guys on fifth gear that you remember but disappear off tv.Jon Bentley, Tom Ford, this guy
I was high and watched that wood trim transitions, made me trip
Someone punch the camera guy please.
Oh the irony of talking about someone's dodgey jacket while dressed like that! 😂

And... the S600. Thanks.
I am going to look like a chauffeur if I drive a Maybach lol I will stay with my Porsche Cayenne Turbo
lol they are now like 10x cheaper
"Giant laxative of an engine" - seriously?
And we all know who won that battle, RR once again. Mayback who?
It's not May-bark. Man his pronunciation is annoying. Don't know why.
You buy a Rolls to show off and this to fly under the radar some. New vs old money, but old money would skip this and buy the S class.

It does.
