    I love how you use the same meal to show different techniques! Most videos use different meals for each technique.

      That's because those techniques aren't universal in application. This is just to show their variety. And being able to plate the same dish differently takes a lot of skill. They say you gotta learn the rules before you bend them.

    Excellent ideas! One question: doesn’t at the end of plating the dish get cold?

    • @Webstaurantstore
      @Webstaurantstore  5 лет назад +65

      Good question. Restaurants have a way of dealing with this. First off, when you're plating hundreds of times a day, you get very fast at doing it. Secondly, the plates are warmed. I highly recommend this for home! And third, if this dish isn't immediately taken to the customer, it will be under a warmer.

    How to keep food warm on plate when plating?

    • @Webstaurantstore
      @Webstaurantstore  7 месяцев назад

      If you're preparing various dishes with different cooking times, a helpful strategy is to maintain their warmth by placing them in a preheated oven set to 200 to 250°F. Typically, most hot foods can be successfully held in this manner for about 15 to 20 minutes. However, for extended periods, it's crucial to monitor the temperature regularly using a food thermometer to ensure that it remains at 140°F or above. If needed, make adjustments to the oven temperature by setting it higher.
